Which romantic songs do you like?

This one is one of my favorites. Barbra Streisand's "The way we were". The film, with the same title, awakened my activist side when I was 16. The film isn't bad, it's just slightly critical of the years during the cold war in the USA. The only flaw in the film is the insipid Robert Redford.

This song touches me, it reminds me of a friend of mine from that time and how happy I was despite the difficult times of adolescence. And Barbra Streisand has a beautiful voice.

I love Francis Cabrel. His songs are beautiful. This one he wrote about his wife.

I've rediscovered the movie Dirty Dancing during this holiday season. The last time I saw it was at least 25 years ago. I didn't remember much of it except a few key scenes. The whole movie is a work of art and dedication from all crew members who went through a lot of hardship before, during, and after filming. Eleanor Bergstein who wrote the movie, which is based on her life, chose the songs first, put them in a specific order, then wrote the story while listening to those songs. That's why the whole movie soundtrack is so good.

My favorite piano song. At the time, I didn't know how to read music sheets and I learned to play it all by ear. Once I started taking piano classes, we went over the sheets with my teacher and there was almost no mistake. I had even picked up notes that were on the CD but were not written the same.

Another timeless love story. I always wanted to learn how to play this one but I couldn't find the sheets that were exactly like this recording. I finally found them last year! This movie makes me cry every time I see it...
