The Dot Connector Magazine Joins Forces With SOTT.net!

Still waiting on my printed issue of DCM #14. Had hoped to find it in the mail after my holiday, but alas... :cry:

Its "good" to know that there are DCM No. 14 issues that are arriving, though late. I had not received it, but I wont loose hope yet. :)

What happened to Issue #15??

The Dot Connector staff have been in a "holding pattern" of late. Our main layout editor and the original founder of the magazine, Paul Bondarovski, has been in the hospital for awhile now. He is currently recovering from major surgery.

We have another person doing the layout for #15, but it is definitely not the same since Paul is still the heart of The Dot Connector Magazine. Needless to say that our entire volunteer staff have all been preoccupied with Paul's health and wellbeing!

At this point we are going to delay the release of the next edition, Issue 15, until January. Hopefully, we will then be back on a normal publishing schedule.

Message for the Dot Connector team, I've just found out this week that the Adyar Bookshop in Sydney has closed, another good bookstore gone, they just can't compete with Amazon.

I thought it was important for you to know as you have them listed on the 'Bookstores That Like Us' page in the DCM.

Just did a quick check to make sure it was definately closed and the website states that it is undergoing a new incarnation and to 'watch this space', so not sure what it wil be.

Update: What happened to Issue #15?
The Dot Connector staff have still been in a "holding pattern" of late. The simple fact of the matter is that we are too few, with too little funding, and too many other projects to work on.


As a result, we are no longer taking new subscriptions. We will hopefully be getting Issue #15 printed shortly. After that, we will produce further issues to fulfill everyone's subscriptions. If we find that this is impossible, we will address current subscriptions either by issuing refunds, offering books in compensation, or something of that nature. We'll cross that bridge if/when we come to it.
