MOSCOW, Feb 10 — RIA Novosti. The consequences of an explosion on the Nord Stream gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea in the early morning of September 26 last year were observed by an American P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft, according to Flightradar24 data.
On Wednesday, an article appeared on Hersh's website claiming that US Navy divers installed explosives under the Nord Stream gas pipelines last summer, and three months later it was activated by the Norwegians.

According to Swedish and Danish seismologists, information from whom was received the day after the incident on September 26, 2022, the first explosion on the underwater Nord Stream gas pipeline near Bornholm Island in the Baltic occurred at 02:03 European summer time.
In the archive of flights on Flightradar24, there is no data on a Norwegian aircraft that could have dropped a buoy, since it apparently flew with the responder turned off. But the resource has preserved the flight track of the P-8A Poseidon, which arrived in the area of the incident exactly an hour after the explosion.
According to the resource record, the American plane flew in from the Atlantic, after which, passing over Denmark, it flew up to Bornholm Island. Then he refueled over Poland from a KS-135R tanker aircraft.

After that, Poseidon returned to Bornholm and at about 04:45 European summer time made a full circle exactly over the area of the explosion, starting to descend. After making a right turn and moving away from the scene, the American scout gradually dropped from a height of 7,300 meters to 2,200 meters, after which he disappeared from the radar, turning off the transponder.
According to RIA Novosti military expert, editor-in-chief of the magazine "National Defense" Igor Korotchenko, the track of the American aircraft with Flightradar24 confirms Hersh's version.
According to him, an American plane in the area of the terrorist attack recorded the exit of gas flows from the destroyed pipeline and monitored the area for the presence or absence of ships and submarines in it, which theoretically could be there and witness what happened.
The journalist clarified who ordered the launch of the operation against the "Northern Streams"
"Considering that the flight route of the American P-8A Poseidon was calculated with refueling over Poland and synchronization of all these moments was required, it can be argued that its arrival at the appointed time, immediately after the terrorist attack, speaks of a flight planned in advance and, therefore, is another confirmation of the version of the reasons put forward by American journalist Hersh and circumstances of the commission of this terrorist act. This once again proves the involvement of official US government structures in this sabotage," the expert said.
At the end of September, explosions occurred on two "Northern Streams" at once. The operator Nord Stream AG reported that the emergencies on the pipelines are unprecedented and it is impossible to estimate the repair time. Vladimir Putin called the incident an obvious terrorist attack.
