Eurovision

Yeah and the cheating over the years is official thanks to US declassified documents. Voltaire Network wrote an article about it.

The Pentagon organizes Ukraine’s victory at Eurovision 2022

Photo: The Ukrainian delegation to Eurovision 2022. One of the escorts (left) is wearing the trident. This medieval symbol became the emblem of Ukraine only in 1917-18 at the initiative of the historian Mykhailo Hrushevsky. It was adopted as the country’s coat of arms in 1996. There are two ways to draw its base. The color variations are also significant. The one of the attendant is not the official version, but the one of the Banderites.

The festival of Eurovision 2022 was held in Turin (Italy). It is organized by an association, the European Broadcasting Union, bringing together the public service televisions of the European continent before 200 million viewers.
At the initiative of the French Delphine Ernotte (president of the association and France-Télévision), Russia, although part of the 56 member countries of the association, had been excluded from the competition for political reasons. Only 25 participated, 15 others were eliminated in the semi-finals.

Only the naive think that this competition is fair play. It is above all a propaganda tool. Nato, which conceived it in 1955 (see document below), has always pulled the strings. The United States, which does not participate in Eurovision, is still the real arbiter. This is the third victory for Ukraine. After that of 2004 ("Orange Revolution"), that of 2016 (attachment of Crimea to the Russian Federation) came that of 2022 (Russian-Ukrainian war).

The Nato gave up the triumph of a text song because of the problems that followed the victory of the song 1944, in 2016; a song about the deportation of Crimean Tatars by Joseph Stalin. Some viewers had uncovered the involvement of Tatar tribes during World War II with the Nazis (including fighters from the Crimean Tatar SS Legion and the Idel-Ural SS Legion).

When he got the title 2022, the band’s singer exclaimed "Glory to Ukraine!", the battle cry of the Banderites with which they murdered 1.6 million of their fellow citizens during World War II.

The following documents were declassified on January 16, 2015, in accordance with U.S. law. They are signed by Geoffrey Parsons Jr., Nato’s chief of communications and spokesman for the Atlantic Alliance.

Breaking with tradition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed Ukraine’s Eurovision victory at a meeting in Berlin.

The best thing ever to come out of the Eurovision song contest and subsequently launched their very successful career were the winners in 1974 - Ladies and Gentlemen -ABBA! (From Sweden).

They won the competition with a song (oddly enough referencing an attempted take over Europe by a dictatorship) entitled Waterloo.

OK, camp it up -

The good old days are far gone, as old as I am. Remember when France won the Eurovision contest. ;-)

This is the only thing I knew about Eurovision until last Saturday.
I never watched it but knew how proud our parents were of Marie Myriam and, I thought it was still like this today.
We came to watch the end of it by accident and, my God, what happened ?
This was just awful ! I thought I was watching science-fiction. The music, outfits, lighting effects etc... Everything was scary !
Nothing like the old days indeed !

She's right. Just watching some of the clips from Eurovision is enough to make you go: "Humanity is doomed." If THAT represents even a portion of humanity's orientation, or of the West, we can't last much longer as a "civilization". It's a very small minority all things considered, but still. I don't recall it ever being so bad.

For long I wondered how this kind of small minority manage to influence the flow of events in their interest. After all, why the majority does not just say no? I think the answer lay in key people being replaced. But it still bug me how it look simple for the STS side doing that, to win, and so forces look like not balanced.

The French political woman Ségolène Royal (former wife or former president François Hollande) wrote:

A "dismal farce"

"This was not a contest of musical talent, but a contest of ugliness, vulgarity, coarseness and exhibitionism (punishable by law but broadcast to millions of children and teenagers!!)",
she posted, referring in particular to the Finnish group Windows95man, whose singer appeared falsely naked on air (he was actually wearing flesh-coloured boxer shorts).

It is to be hoped that not a single euro of public or European money went to this dismal farce, (with a few exceptions), and that questions can be asked about the costume and staging company and those who chose it," added Ségolène Royal. Did the singers themselves have the freedom to refuse the pitiful, abusive clothes that the organisers made them wear? A serious investigation into the methods used and a detailed financial report on this shabby but obviously costly exhibition are essential. Culture, music and Europe must respect each other, otherwise nobody will respect them any more".

P.S
Make me think I wonder until which point they can go, mock sacrifices for the next representation?

I agree with Maria, and my hope is that most people watching that was horrified by the show, having been peddled by a small minority of usual suspects.
I wonder how many people watch it because of curiosity but are at the same time thinking.. "I would never do that in a million years" and that's what they're not counting on, whoever is putting this on and thinking they're changing people's minds. Because a lot of people do tune in, but there's some things in humanity that you simply can't change... or at least I hope so.

Well, I tend to think that, as it is with Hollywood, they are not after the adults. Maybe they are bullying the normal humans, enticing and encouranging the pathologicals among the population, and targeting the children who will grow up watching this filth.

I used to watch the Eurovision Song Contest when I was a child. This year's contest would have terrified me and given me nightmares. It was absolutely not suitable for kids. I haven't watched it in years, just a few "highlights".

As you know, Israel took part - why? It's supposed to be European and non-political contest, but Russia was banned. Apparently, the Israeli singer is actually Israeli-Russian. The song she wanted to sing contained references to the Hamas' attack on the 7th October, so it had to be edited:

Golan originally intended to sing “October Rain”, but the song was widely interpreted to contain several references to the Hamas attacks of 7 October, thereby breaching the European Broadcasting Union’s rules about political lyrics.

Along with the title’s reference to “October”, this included the lines, “There’s no air left to breathe” and, “They were all good children, each one of them.”

After the EBU said it was scrutinising the lyrics, Israeli president Isaac Herzog called for “necessary adjustments” in order to ensure his country could take part.

The song was updated and Golan was permitted to proceed in the contest with “Hurricane”, with the EBU approving the new lyrics.

The 20-year-old was also booed, but they covered up the booing:

Oh, yes, I count our lucky stars for emigrating to Africa when we did.

I watched the video from the Eurovision website and all I can say is that it shows perhaps on purpose, stuff, that would instantaneously to the very least, vex to extremes anyone and everyone.

There is a solution though, gather the performing youngsters and their fans and producers around and for one year, put them to do physical work, for 10 hrs a day without their cellphones and tablets and ‘musical instruments’, and tvs... and let them ‘create’ their ‘art’ in their spare time.
