A quick summary for those who weren't able to join us today, we had a really good discussion about zoning out, managing intrusive thoughts and maintaining focus in general. Logos5x5 recommended two books that seem to be quite useful so I thought I'd share them here on his behalf:

How to be better at almost everything.
Hyperfocus. How to work less and achieve more.

I looked through my audio settings for zoom, and found that the automatically adjust volume button was ticked by default. I have unticked that box and hopefully that will correct the problem of the background noise being amplified.

Hey fellow EE'ers. I've been missing our sessions together. My work on Fridays has been barging in on EE for now. Kinda sucks but I've got to hold down the fort now that I am the sole bread winner and hope to join in again when I can.

Hello @France! The workshop will start at the usual time 20:00 French time - 18:00 UTC (2 PM for you). I think that you get that time as the calendar takes Mexican time as the main reference.

One of the organiser will give more details, but there is a session for those in Asia/Oceania on Thursdays I believe. You can join there.
