(...) I appreciate all the analysis that's been contributed here. I watched the movie earlier this year, but it is one of those films that has sort of stuck with me because of the reaction it produced in me. I am curious if anyone else has experienced this. In the ending, when you are observing what happens to planet earth, I was hit with the most incredible wave of grief and sadness. I could not stop crying for a while after watching this. It was so painful.
