when he shed a tear

Jedi
When he shed a tear

His mind full with the need to show
Asking for an impression
Antagonistically self aware of his greed
Unapologetically sorry
Confused and stubborn
Now sat next to me
As I drive
At 62
Mile per hour
Music
Two birds on the road ahead flee
Desperately
We all brake
One, doof
Doof, two
In rear mirror, a vast cloud of white
We look around and the road is a feather blizzard,
Eddies reminding us where we'd been

As I look left
I saw a break in some cool,
The fool had softened a little
In the moment I had become hard and accepting
He shed a small tear and tried to keep with it
But I saw that real part
The part that I know is in there
And as he shed a tear I realised who I was to judge
And who we can never alter
