I just noticed that the copyright footer on SOTT.net still reads 2011:

Original content © 2002-2011 by SOTT.net/Signs of the Times. See: Fair Use Policy
 
I just thought of this and checked, and the copyright footer still only lists up through 2011. It may not be a big deal but it might help to keep it updated to help protect the material from misuse.
 
They could also setup their footer in such a way that it will always show the current year:
Copyright © … <year of inception>-<current year>
 
It's fixed. Thanks for letting us know!

It IS updated dynamically, but the footer containing it is also cached to save the useless rendering load on the server.

So, it's not dynamic, but it is.
