Six degrees of Bibi

The Force is Strong With This One
While reading the story of Bibi's connections, I was just pondering: What connections could there be between his employment at a furniture manufacturer and moving vans?

Like a true cynic I could "guess". Furniture is good for hiding things like bugs and even smuggling. I mean, if you have access to it. Nobody is going to suspect the manufacturer, or the removalist. And who needs mail or carrier pidgeon when a good chair leg or wardrobe will do. A person can hide something quite large in a wardrobe...

I think joeshmoe was more likely referring to this:

Bibbidi bobidi boo! (mirth!)

Many things "magically" appear and disappears; there you see it and there
you don't! It seems that all modes of clandestine operations involving modes
of transports are suspect: trucks, trains, barges, ships, containers, warehouses
- the list is endless. The best deception is what appears as normal to the naked
eye, is without question.

This reminds me of the PBS documentary I watched not long ago, of "undercover
agents" tracking clandestine smuggling operations, it was a real insight seeing the
different modes of operations that goes on every day, criss-crossing the BBM,
using many modes of dealings via the use of fear, deception, manipulation, bribery
and/or personal benefit to name a few examples, all to maintain the status quo. It is
easy to cover up and restore exposed operations via mop-up operations and to restore
such operations with a different face as the cost of doing business, and it is business
as usual.

I cannot remember the name of the PBS program I watched but it was a very
interesting expose, at least to me.

FWIW,
Dan

It's a somewhat off topic. There is an AP article posted on JP site about the meeting between Netanyahu and Ugandan president.
Notice what Museveni wanted to know from Netanyahu and his father, and also notice the AP wording. They are way too diplomatic, as if Museveni was just interested in ancient history and not asking hard questions about the displacement of Palestinians. Well, at least they used the word "grilled".

Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu and his family have thanked Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni for memorializing Netanyahu's brother, who was killed in the 1976 hostage rescue at Uganda's Entebbe Airport.

Benjamin Netanyahu said he supported Museveni's plan for a museum commemorating the rescue of more than 100 hostages held by Palestinian gunmen.

Museveni is in Jerusalem for Israel's 60th anniversary celebrations, but he was more interested in ancient history when he grilled Netanyahu and his historian father on Jewish presence in the holy land.

In their meeting Wednesday, Museveni asked the Netanyahus when Jews first lived in what is now Israel, what other communities lived in the area at the time, and if Jews displaced them.

I guess my gut for the connections was something like: furniture is delivered by moving vans. Furniture company need to make deliveries. Company sets
up delivery company or subsidiary in the states, hiring agents for that company. Such agents get their papers in order (commercial drivers license, working visa) while working for such company.
Then, they get new jobs with moving companies.
