I've immensely enjoyed reading some of these. In them, he explains much about the hidden narratives, themes and connections existing in certain movies, most interestingly to me in Stanley Kubrick's films. Although he has to use guesswork at places and perhaps reads too much into very minor details, you soon begin to get the idea that he is on the right track.
I got a lot of goosebumps just watching The Shining, but I got even more after reading Rob's article on it which makes just so much sense
. They can be long reads but very interesting if you are a fan of the films.
