MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. The dead and wounded are among the servicemen of the Russian Federation who are involved in a special military operation. This was announced on Sunday to journalists by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Igor Konashenkov.

"Since the beginning of the special military operation, the Russian armed forces have hit 1,067 objects of military infrastructure of Ukraine," he said.

As Konashenkov specified, 27 control points and communication centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 38 anti-aircraft missile systems of air defense: S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa, as well as 56 radar stations were liquidated. "Only today, seven anti-aircraft missile systems have been destroyed, including one S-300 near the city of Kramatorsk. 3 Bayraktar TB-2 attack unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the suburbs of Chernihiv," the general said.

According to him, since the beginning of the operation, 254 tanks and other armored vehicles, 31 aircraft on the ground, 46 multiple launch rocket systems, 103 field artillery and mortars, 164 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.

According to him, the leaders of the Kiev regime will inevitably bear severe responsibility. "All persons, voices, telephones, their coordinates, IP addresses, as well as correspondence of all Ukrainian Nazis involved in the mockery of our comrades are recorded and identified. This also applies to the leaders of the Kiev regime and their executors, who directly call for the abuse of Russian servicemen in violation of the convention on the treatment of prisoners of war. All of you will be found and will inevitably bear severe responsibility," he said.

According to the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, the losses of the Russian Armed Forces are many times less than the number of nationalists killed. "But our losses are many times less than the destroyed nationalists. And losses among the servicemen of the Ukrainian armed forces," Konashenkov said.

Konashenkov also said that the grouping of troops of the LPR successfully advanced deep into the enemy's defense by another 4 km. "The grouping of troops of the Lugansk People's Republic with the fire support of the Armed Forces (Armed Forces) of the Russian Federation successfully advanced deep into the enemy's defense by another 4 km. Units of the Donetsk People's Republic, overcoming the resistance of nationalist units, advanced another 6 kilometers. The settlements of Nizhnee, Granitnoye and Gnutovo have been liberated," he said.

According to him, the Russian Armed Forces since the beginning of the special military operation, which began on February 24, hit 1,067 objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24 announced a special military operation in Ukraine in response to the appeal of the leaders of the Republics of Donbass for help. He stressed that Moscow's plans do not include the occupation of Ukrainian territories, the goal is the demilitarization and denazification of the country. As stated in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Russian military does not strike at cities, but disables only military infrastructure, so nothing threatens the civilian population.

Tornado battalion (which actually was only a company) was created in 2014 in Zaporizhia and came under command of the Ministry of Interior. Following the discontinuation of Special Operations Militia Battalion Shakhtarsk (which had been created at the initiative of the member of parliament Oleh Liashko and fought near Ilovaisk), Ministry of Interior detachment Saint Mary has been created, incorporating volunteers from Shakhtarsk and Azov battalions, and Dmytro Korchynskyi’s Bratstvo (Brotherhood) political party.

A group of the Ministry of Interior officers, mostly inhabitants of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, became the Tornado detachment. In June 2015, the then-Head of the Luhansk military civil administration Hennadii Moskal turned to the Minister of Interior, General Staff and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, asking to disarm Tornado battalion and withdraw it from the territory of Luhansk region, appealing to its uncontrollability.

How the case unfolded Following Hennadii Moskal’s request, on June 17, 2015 eight Tornado servicemen were detained, including the commander Ruslan Onyshchenko, who was in Dnipropetrovsk. The Minister of Interior, Arsen Avakov, signed an order on discontinuation of Tornado company the next day, on June 18, 2015. Tornado troops said their prosecution was caused by the conflict of their battalion commander Onyshchenko with the then-Head of Department of Interior in Luhansk region Anatolii Naumenko, who supposedly covered smuggling in the region. Another reason was military prosecutor Anatolii Matios’ personal distaste of volunteer battalions. On August 2, 2016, former Tornado troops threw faeces and urine at the attendees in the court room.

At the same time, clashes occurred near the Obolonskyi court building. The charges According to military prosecutor Ruslan Kravchuk, the accused former Tornado troops are charged with the following: -building a criminal organization; -sodomy under threat of violence; -abuse of authority and power by a law enforcement officer accompanied by violence, threat of violence, use of weapons and impact munition; -misappropriation of vehicle under threat of violence; -illegal deprivation of freedom and kidnapping; -tortures; -incitement to attempted suicide resulting from abusive treatment; -fraudulent imposition and self-empowerement, combined with commission of socially dangerous acts using official uniform of law enforcement officer; -home invasion and illegal search committed by an official involving threat of violence; -extortion committed by an official using his official power and threat of homicide; -extortion of official documents committed for financial gain which resulted in disorder in agency operation; -misappropriation of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine.

It has been noted that the case itself consists of 86 volumes. Regularly disrupted court sessions Trying former volunteers in court turned out to be a difficult task. Their comrades organized fights near the court premises. Semen Semenchenko, MP from Samopomich party and former Donbas battalion commander, was coordinating the protesters.

According to law enforcements, the accused try to disrupt each court session. Why are court sessions closed? The accused demanded to hold open court sessions. Nevertheless, according to military prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko, it was impossible, as circumstances of crimes against sexual freedom and sexual integrity are considered during the sessions. In addition, disclosure of circumstances assaulting the victims’ dignity should be prevented.

The sentence Second company commander Ruslan Onyschenko was sentenced to 11 years in prison with stripping of the title of militia lieutenant. Danylo Liashuk’s sentence reached ten years in prison. Mykola Tsukur was given nine years in prison with stripping of the title of militia lieutenant. Mykyta Kust was sentenced to nine years in prison with stripping of the title of the junior sergeant.

Borys Holchuk, Maksym Hlebov and Illia Kholod were sentenced to nine years each. Anatolii Plamadial was sentenced to eight years in prison. Yurii Shevchenko was sentenced to five years in prison. The court ruled to mitigate his sentence freeing him from punishment and setting three year probation. Roman Ivash, Mykyta Svyrydovskyi and Andriy Demchuk were freed from punishment with two-year probation. All convicts fall under Savchenko’s law (one day in detention facility for two days in prison). The court ruled to charge all of them UAH 7,750 of court fees. Both prosecution and defense of former troops of Tornado company convicted by Obolonskyi district court in Kyiv city stated they were going to appeal, as one side believed them to be too lenient and the other too severe.

The reason is the Ukrainian delegation’s logistics, the source said
MINSK, February 27. /TASS/. Talks between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations will begin in the morning on Monday, a source told TASS on Sunday.

"It is not a postponement. The meeting will begin in the morning. The reason is the Ukrainian delegation’s logistics," the source said.

Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, who leads the Russian delegation to the talks, said earlier that an agreement had been reached with the Ukrainian side on Sunday to hold talks in Belarus’ Gomel region. The Russian delegation has already left Minsk and is heading for the talks’ venue, which, according to a TASS source, will not be disclosed.

According to the source, the negotiations were to focus on the sanctions against Russia’s Progress Rocket and Space Center and Roscosmos’ head research institute TsNIImash
MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The European Space Agency (ESA) has refused from talks with Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin, which were scheduled for Monday, February 28, a source in Russia’s space sector told TASS on Sunday.

"The European Space Agency has informed Roscosmos about its decision not to hold a teleconference between the two agencies’ Directors General, Josef Aschbacher of ESA and Dmitry Rogozin of Rooscosmos, that were earlier initiated by the ESA," the source said.

According to the source, the negotiations were to focus on the sanctions against Russia’s Progress Rocket and Space Center and Roscosmos’ head research institute TsNIImash, as well as on cooperation issues, including on the ExoMars project.

Rogozing said in an interview with the Solovyov Live YouTube channel on Saturday that on February 28 he planned to speak with the ESA CEO to discuss the situation with the sanctions, which cover Russia’s space sector companies, as well as prospects for joint space missions. In his words, Russia wants to organize a joint ExoMars mission with Europe, which is expected to be launched in September.

Can a Dutch member check this out:

Did Rutte actually say that?

I didn't notice that the person posting this is talking about the deputy prime minister. Not the prime minister.

The Deputy Prime Minister is Kaag. Rutte is the Prime minister.

I've seen these quotes circling on Twitter thinking they must be true. But I have a hard time backtracking them.

Here Rutte said:

Prime Minister Rutte warned that the Netherlands will also experience the consequences of the sanctions. "High energy prices will continue to rise," he admitted, "but the cost of tolerating this unprecedented Russian aggression is much higher for the security of the Netherlands, Europe and the global legal order."

He also said that a shortage of gas will be possible in the near future. But again, I only saw it on Twitter ...

Kaag (The deputy prime minister) said this today:

Kaag says it is inevitable that the economy of the Netherlands and other European countries will also be affected by the sanctions or by any Russian countermeasures. But she thinks "the Dutch and the rest of Europe really feel that this is about something much bigger: peace, security and democracy."

If anything pops up that he (prime minister or she (deputy prime minister said what is quoted in the tweet I will post it here. Or something similar. I have a feeling we're going to be hearing talking points like this a lot more from Western politicians.

It saddens me deeply to know America was the architect of this destruction. It saddens me even more to know how many people did and still do think this was the right course of action. The number of people that can say "America" and "last bastion of freedom" in the same breath is staggering beyond belief.

Maybe that's a simplistic take, with ideas like reincarnation and karma and all, that also must be taken into account; things we may never know the full story of, and how the universe has a grander plan of balance. But even still, it is really painful to see how much hurt humans can inflict on the world around them.

Perhaps the psychopath truly isn't human, because humanity, despite it's ability to destroy, has also the ability to create beauty, and I think more often than not chooses beauty. The psychopath only knows destruction.

As at the beginning of Covid when almost no one saw through the deception, it is again very unfortunate to see many alternative journalists falling for the same tactics, this time the anti-Russian hysteria. Apparently, we now again need another 2 years before a large portion sees through the lie. If they are able to figure it out at all.

EU to send fighter jets to Ukraine

The bloc’s top diplomat said lethal aid will be delivered through Poland

▶️ rt.com

"The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell has revealed that a 450 million Euro package of “lethal aid” for Ukraine will include fighter jets, with all weapons delivered through Poland. Borrell also said that around half of the Russian Central Bank’s reserves would be frozen.

Borrell added that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba had requested fighter jets that Ukrainian pilots could operate, and that such jets could be procured from certain EU countries. The Ukrainian Air Force uses Soviet-designed MiG-29 and Sukhoi Su-24, Su-25, and Su-27 jets in combat roles, and with the Su-25 used by Bulgaria and the MiG-29 used by Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia, the jets will likely be sourced from these countries.

Borrell said that military aid will be delivered to Ukraine via Poland, though he did not specify whether the jets would be flown into Ukraine or driven across the border."

How about that for upping the ante? Would supplying attack aircraft make NATO a belligerent?

Will Russia wait for their delivery to Ukraine or will they already destroy the aircraft inside Poland?
On what basis can the Ukrainian foreign minister just request military aircraft from NATO without being a member of NATO itself?

Will the countries mentioned above go as far as sending NATO aircraft into the conflict zone or is it just theatrical thunder?

Will the Russians leave enough airfields intact to get these craft into service?
Or can they be deployed from the highways and byways of Ukraine?

Covid disappear suddenly the day before yesterday. Kaput, thanks to Putin. Thank you Putin for that.

The mass do not care about Irak, Syria, Libia... they absolutely do not care at all. But they don't care because they are swimming in a total ignorance and many, happy to know nothing. They don't even know where Iraq is. These are the same people who followed the infamous instructions for covid and vaccination on foot. They don't blink an eye when hospitals are destroyed by Nato. They have the blank stare of some machines, their eyes like little buttons that blink just when you give them a good series on Netfix. That's all. It doesn't go any further ...

I have a friend who told me today that he wants to know nothing about this war. That he couldn't do anything anyway. Okay baby, I thought. It's your choice to ignore the war that will soon come knocking at your door. It's your choice to turn your head sideways. He's been injected three times, and his energy is not what it used to be. I suppose that many people who have been "vaccinated" feel very tired, unable to see this titanic future coming. It is not normal that no one has opposed the war, as in the past. Nobody. Could the "vaccine" have something to do with it? Loss of vitality, that is to say of what makes us human.
