Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

There's been another ammunition depot explosion in Crimea.
It is tempting to recall that during WWII the Red Army took over territories, but there was also sabotage behind their own lines, which hindered progress, just as sabotage continued in some areas of Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltic States after the end of the war. From what I understand, it was supported by the Western intelligence in the countries like the UK, the US and Germany. It looks like they will repeat their strategy. I imagine, it is going to backfire, as in general misery related due to broken economies, internal disruptions and totalitarian like administrations. Could the EU enter a misery like that of Ukraine, or even worse?

PATRIOT PARK /Moscow Region/, August 16. /TASS/. Western countries are desperately clinging to their "vanishing hegemony" but the unipolar world order is becoming a thing of the past, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his address to the audience of the 10th Moscow Conference on International Security on Tuesday.

The head of state noted that the West needs conflicts in order to stay in power, so the US and its allies are actively meddling in the affairs of other countries, whipping up all sorts of provocations and civil wars. The West’s hegemony spells stagnation for the entire world. However, it is possible to reduce tension and overcome common threats by bolstering the system of a modern multipolar world. Russia will continue to take steps towards building a more democratic world and refining the existing mechanisms of international security.

TASS put together Putin’s key statements.

On multipolar world order

The contours of a multipolar world order are being actively shaped. "Increasingly more countries and peoples are choosing the path of free sovereign development based on their uniqueness, traditions and values."

The objective processes of shaping a multipolar world are being "opposed by Western globalist elites who stoke chaos by igniting old and new conflicts and implementing the so-called containment policy, which essentially undermines any alternative sovereign paths of development."

The globalist elites are "at all cost, trying to cling to hegemony that is slipping through their fingers, and seek to keep countries and peoples in the grip of the neocolonial order." "Their hegemony spells stagnation for the entire world and for all of civilization, and it includes bigotry, cancel culture, and neoliberal totalitarianism."

The era of a unipolar world order is vanishing into the past. "Only by substantially bolstering the system of a modern multipolar world it is possible to diminish tensions worldwide, overcome threats and risks in the military and political sphere, increase the level of trust between countries and ensure their stable development."

On Ukraine

The West needs conflicts "to hold on to their hegemony." "This is precisely why they planned to use the people of Ukraine as cannon fodder, implemented the ‘anti-Russia’ project, turned a blind eye to the spread of neo-Nazi ideology, to the mass slaughter of the Donbass residents, and have been flooding and continue to flood the Kiev regime with armaments, including the heavy weapons."

Under these conditions, Russia decided to conduct a special military operation in Ukraine in full compliance with the UN Charter. "The goals of this operation have been clearly defined - it is to ensure the security of Russia and our citizens, and the defense of the Donbass residents from genocide."

"The situation in Ukraine testifies to US attempts to prolong this conflict. And it acts exactly the same way by igniting a conflict potential in Asia, Africa and Latin America."

On West's actions

"The US and its vassals are grossly interfering in the domestic affairs of sovereign states. They organize provocations, state coups and civil wars. Using threats, blackmail and pressure, they attempt to force independent states to bend to their will and live according to rules that are alien to them."

The West’s goal is to "hold on to its domination, using this model that enables it to feed off the entire world as it has done for centuries and such a model can only be sustained by force."

The West brushed aside Russia’s proposals for mutual security measures. Meanwhile, NATO is expanding eastward, beefing up its military infrastructure. "Verbally, it is hypocritically explained by the necessity to bolster security in Europe, while just the opposite is occurring in reality."

Aggressive military political unions, such as AUKUS (Australia, the UK and the US) are being formed by the West in order to "spread to the Asia-Pacific region its bloc system analogous to NATO in Europe."

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan was a carefully planned provocation. "Once again, the US deliberately attempted to add fuel to the fire to destabilize the situation in the Asia-Pacific region. The American scheme with regards to Taiwan is not just a trip by one irresponsible politician but part of a deliberate conscious US strategy to destabilize and sow chaos with the situation in the region and worldwide, [this is] an obnoxious display of disrespect to the sovereignty of other countries and to its own international obligations."

By acting this way, Western states attempt to distract their citizens from critical socio-economic problems by shifting the blame on to Russia and China for their own failures. "The so-called collective West is deliberately destroying the system of European security."

On Russia's plans

Moscow and its allies will continue to "refine the existing mechanisms of international security together with its allies, partners and associates and create new ones, consistently bolstering national armed forces and other security structures, and boosting their level of being outfitted with modern armaments and military equipment."

Russia will also continue to ensure its national interests as well as the protection of its allies, and "take other steps to build a more democratic world."

It is necessary to "restore respect to international law, and to its fundamental norms and principles." It is important to bolster the positions of the UN and other international dialogue venues.

"The UN Security Council and the General Assembly, as it was initially conceived, should serve as effective instruments to decrease international tension and prevent conflicts, while working to guarantee reliable security and the well-being of countries and peoples."

Seems that the western wishful thinking is stucked in the 1990s and sees Russia as they saw tiny Serbia and the Balkans then. That is clearly visible with the made up "situation" around NPP Zaporozhye. Russia suposedly should back up, let the "observers" in, "negotiate". All the games which destroyed Yugoslavia. It tells that the West actually doesnt know what they are doing, Russia is not Yugoslavia.

So, at some point Russia is going to loose its patience. We can hope - soon.

In this post, I take a look at an anti-tank mine type that was reported by the Russian side, followed by a different map of the conflict activity, and a look at the situation from the Ukrainian perspective including statistics from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and finally a report from the LNR DNR new agency.

Anti-tank mines that can't be defused
From MoD Russia
▫️On August 14, Russian servicemen found more than 50 French-made EMP F2 anti-tank mines at positions abandoned by units of 72nd Mechanized Brigade of AFU south of Artemovsk in Donetsk people's republic.

ℹ️ These mines, after being placed and armed, cannot be removed or defused. Their use is in direct violation of the requirements of the Second Protocol "On Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Mines, Booby Traps and Other Devices", part of the Geneva Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Non-Violent Weapons, adopted in New York on October 10, 1980.
For technical details, when activated:
Moving metal objects (shovels, weapons, etc.) near the mine may cause an explosion.
The search for a mine using an electromagnetic metal detector (metal detector) definitely leads to the explosion of a mine.
Moving the mine or tilting it causes the mine to explode.
Voltage drops (reduced performance) of power supplies cause the mine to explode.

From the authors. Thus, the mine is structurally anti-mine-detecting and its use by the French Army violates the requirements of Protocol II (3 May 1996) "On Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Mines, Booby Traps and Other Devices", which is part of the Geneva Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May Be Deemed to Be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects Action (New York, October 10, 1980). France signed and ratified this Protocol.

Self-neutralization of mines is carried out after 30 days using the built-in timer.

The design of the mine allows you to remove it after self-neutralization and send it to the factory for reloading. At the same time, to guarantee safety, you need to press the side button and turn the handle to bring it into the firing position to the left until it stops.
This means that in the area where this mine had been activated, the advancing troops might have to wait 30 days, before advancing. From the images, I have seen on this page, there may be a way to disarm them, at least they show a mine.

Another map, but from Ukraine/Western perspective
Having watched some videos from the YouTube channel, Ukraine Military Summary and Analysis, I looked for more maps and found this which gives a more Ukrainian/Western perspective: Ukraine Interactive map - Ukraine Latest news on live map - liveuamap.com

What does the Ukrainian side say about their achievements?
Looking up the news from the Twitter account of the General Staff of Ukraine, you can find the daily gains.
As an example, see their picture of what they have inflicted on the Russian Armed Force below to the left
Below and to the right, there is one of the images from MoD Russia showing what Russia claims to have inflicted on UAF. Notice that they do not claim a number of enemy soldiers killed, though they do give numbers in their reports. Interesting that blood has such a high star in UAF.

The page of the Ukrainian Armed Forces issues reports twice a day in Ukrainian. Their English page has little to offer. Next is a translation to give an idea of how the UAF talk about their activity to the Ukrainian public. It reveals that although the front does not move much, there is a fair amount of activity, and more than the Russian sides claims to have achieved. I did not highlight anything.
Operational information as of 18.00 16.08.2022 regarding the Russian invasion
August 16/17 :00 ID:62fc66ac4909af001370acf5

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred and seventy-fourth day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian nation to the Russian military invasion continues.

The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing full control over the territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, maintaining temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson and parts of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv regions, creating favorable conditions for resuming the offensive in certain areas, as well as blocking Ukraine's sea communications in the Black Sea. Air and missile strikes on civilian objects of our state continue.

There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the Volyn and Polessky directions. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of Belarus remains.

In the Seversky direction, the enemy launched artillery attacks near Kamenskaya Sloboda in Chernihiv region and Khodiny and Svarkovoye in Sumy region. Enemy UAV reconnaissance flights continue.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy carried out fire damage in the areas of the settlements of Odnorobovka, Sosnovka, Duvanka, Dementiivka, Nursery, Russkaya and Cherkasskaya Lozovaya Cherkasskye Tishki, Petrovka, Verkhny Saltov, Mospanovo, Ivanovka, Korobochkino and Chepel.

It launched air strikes near Verkhny Saltov, Gusarovka and Sosnovka. Remote mining of the area near Pobedy and Ukrainka was recorded.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy used tanks, cannon and rocket artillery to fire near Grushuvakha, Krasnopolye, Virnopillya, Rodny, Mazanivka and Dolina.

In the areas of the settlements of Novaya Dmitrovka Dibrovnoye and Russian invaders used incendiary ammunition.

Near Mazanivka, the enemy tried to conduct an offensive battle, had no success, and retreated.

In the Donetsk direction, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on conducting active offensive and assault operations in the Kramatorsk, Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

In the Kramatorsk direction, enemy units fired from barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Kramatorsk, Verkhnekamenskoye, Grigorovka, Perezne and Razdolovka. Near Ivano-Daryevka, with the support of aviation, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations. Suffered losses and retreated.

In the Bakhmut direction, shelling of military and civilian infrastructure was recorded in the areas of Konstantinovka, Soledar, Shumov, Yakovlevka and Mayorsk. The enemy also launched airstrikes near Yakovlevka and Soledar. It tried to conduct reconnaissance by fighting at the top, but after a fire defeat, it ran away. Offensive and assault actions of the invaders in the areas of Soledar, Zaitseve, and Mayorsk ended with losses and withdrawal.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, in addition to shelling near Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Alexandropol, Vodiane, Opytne, Novokalinove and Novobakhmutovka, launched an airstrike near Maryinka. Led an offensive in the Nevelsky area, fighting continues.

In the Novopavliv and Zaporizhia directions, artillery attacks were recorded near Vladimirovka, Novoukrainka, Pavlovka, Ugledar, Novoselka, Magic, Vremivka, Kamenskoye, Dorozhnyanka and Novopol.

The enemy launched air strikes near Novoandreevka, Pavlovka and Poltavka. Leads an offensive near Novomikhailovka, fighting continues.

In the South Bug area, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on preventing the advance of our troops and conducting aerial reconnaissance of UAVs.

The enemy continues firing from tanks, cannon and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Stepnaya Dolina, Novaya Zarya, Pribugskoye, Shevchenko, Kiselevka, Blagodatnoye, Shirokoe, Kobzartsi, Andreevka, Dobryanka, Osokorovka, Potyomkin, Trudolyubovka, Bolshaya Kostromka and Krasnogrigoryevka.

It carried out air strikes in the areas of Posad-Pokrovsky, Bely Kolodets and Lozovoye. An inept attempt at an offensive battle near Novogrigoryevka ended with significant losses and flight for the invaders.

We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Together we will win! glory to Ukraine!
In the above report, there are many names, which one can look up on a map to find out where the front is. By following them day for day, people could probably have an idea, even if that was the only source.

From LNR|DNR information aligned site, NewsFront, they write:
AFU chief complains of critical state of army and total domination of Russian artillery

The Ukrainian Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) chief, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, has reported about the critical state of the Ukrainian army in Donbas and complained about the terrible damage caused by continuous fire of the Russian artillery.

Speaking to journalists, Zaluzhnyy said that the AFU’s situation in the east of the country was catastrophically difficult. According to him, the Russian Army’s main efforts are focused on pushing Ukrainian forces out of the DNR, and the most difficult situation for the Ukrainian militants has developed in the previously seemingly impregnable Avdeevka – Peski – Marinka direction, from which a huge bastion was created during eight years of civil war in the Donbass. Zaluzhnyy said that an assault was already under way in the centre of Marinka.

The AFU chief noted huge losses from Russian artillery, which the Ukrainian army, despite all the bravura statements about “Western assistance”, has nothing to counter. He said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions were shelled 700-800 times a day and that the Russian army was using up to 60,000 rounds of ammunition daily.

We shall remind you that The Washington Post earlier reported that Ukraine was finding it increasingly difficult to find in the world scarce ammunition for old weapons, which make up the bulk of its artillery fleet.
If there are 800 strikes, it is a lot, considering how much Russian artillery they claim to have hit in their daily report. 60,000 round could mean 60,000 shots fired with various types of guns.

Spanish political scientist: US needs only protracted conflict in Ukraine
17.08.2022 16:10
The US benefits from the protraction of the conflict in Ukraine because it is convinced that it weakens Russia, Spanish political scientist and military correspondent Alberto Garcia Watson told HispanTV.

“The main interest of the US in this fictitious war invented in Europe was to weaken Russia, an attempt they have been making for years,” the political scientist said.
The expert is convinced that the US plan is to damage Russia’s image and weapons capabilities; here, Washington intends to “stretch the war over time, as it has already been done” in various parts of the world. This is also what Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his speech at the opening of the 10th Moscow Security Conference, saying that the US is only prolonging the conflict in Ukraine.
With a prolonged war, the US can weaken Europe, and probably more than Russia. Weakening Europe is an advantage for the US. The article above is a way of telling people to prepare for a long conflict.

US military expert states critical position of Ukrainian army
17.08.2022 16:28
German magazine Der Spiegel has interviewed US military expert Michael Kofmann, in which he highlighted a number of problems which the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) have already faced or will soon face.

Kofman told the Spiegel journalists that Kiev was afraid of losing because of the increasing pressure from some EU countries. He is convinced that the Ukrainian authorities hoped to quickly demonstrate success in order to secure further support from the West. Nevertheless, in more than three months the results of the Ukrainian counterattacks, according to the expert, “are not impressive at all”.

“The Ukrainians have a lot of personnel, but this does not translate into offensive capabilities. Because the number of units actually trained and equipped for that is very limited,” he noted.

The analyst noted that Ukraine was concerned that it would soon lose support from the West if it failed to show an opportunity to “change the dynamics” in its confrontation with Russia. In his opinion, Kiev is also aware that the West has already provided Ukraine with most of what it could give. This raises many times the risk of a reduction in military supplies, especially against the backdrop of collective frustration with the Ukrainian army.

“I’m sure the Ukrainians suspect that the Europeans have already given them most of the weapons they are willing to give. The Ukrainians are likely to go on some kind of ‘ammunition diet’,” the expert said.

In his opinion, the Ukrainian government seriously fears that if the current situation persists between the beginning of winter and the beginning of next year, it may come under pressure that will eventually force it to “accept a stalemate” and capitulate.
If the US/UK realize that the UA is not able to keep going, they may be more willing to trigger activity in another area along the Russia-EU/NATO border. This would create a situation where the citizens of the EU/NATO could be put into a bind to give more than they have been willing to so far.

The range of weapons supplied to Ukraine continues to expand
From the missile weapons, in my opinion, it remains for Ukraine to transfer only Tridents and Minutemen, the rest is already all there. But this, who understands, is a completely different quality.

Ukraine for the first time struck with American AGM-114 "Hellfire" missiles

AGM-114 Hellfire missiles were used to deliver high-precision strikes on the Energodar. This is evidenced by the discovered fragments of American-made missiles. The latter, remarkably, are capable of launching only foreign combat helicopters or unmanned aerial vehicles MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper, which the US previously wanted to transfer to Ukraine.

Officially, the supply of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles was not reported, however, the discovered fragments of these missiles indicate that the latter were actively used to shell the territory of Energodar and, more likely, the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP. The missiles have a short range, but are not designed to strike from the ground, since the target must be captured beforehand.

It is noteworthy that we are talking about the basic version of the AGM-114 Hellfire missile, which are no longer used by the US military due to the appearance of modern variants.

"Upon a detailed study of the electronic circuit boards from the rocket found at the site of the impact in Energodar, it turned out that it was a rocket based on the first generation of American AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, which were discontinued about 30 years ago (in the 92nd year). It has nothing to do with the advertised Brimstone, although it has similar features externally," the Telegram channel Military Informant reports.

Experts note that if the United States did transfer AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and tactical strike drones to Ukraine, this could create a number of problems in those areas that are not covered by air defense means.
Украина впервые нанесла удары американскими ракетами AGM-114 "Hellfire"

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine announced the delivery of ATACMS missiles into service

As it became known, during the ongoing negotiations between Ukraine and the United States, an agreement was reached that the American weapons supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be used for strikes on the territory of Russia (with the exception of Crimea). Previously, this was a key factor in delaying the delivery of American tactical missiles ATACMS for the Himars MLRS, which suggests that the United States may send these long-range missiles to Ukraine in the near future. This, by the way, was previously actively promoted by the United States of America.

A few weeks earlier, the United States actively promoted the idea of sending ATACMS tactical missiles to Ukraine, noting that the key problem of delaying the delivery of these missiles is the fears on the part of Washington and the American president that the APU may use missiles for uncontrolled strikes against Russia.

There are no official statements regarding the upcoming deliveries of ATACMS missiles by the current hour, however, the United States has not previously announced the delivery of AGM-88, AGM-114 and AIM-120 missiles. This does not exclude the possibility that if tactical weapons are delivered, it will be done secretly, especially since at least six other states have such missiles.

In general, everything happened as you describe. I will give one, in my opinion, illustrative example of how long the struggle against this phenomenon prolonged in the USSR. The fate of a man who is considered the last "forest brother".

"Hid until 1978": how the last "forest brother" was liquidated

August Sabbe was born on September 1, 1909 on a farm in Vyrumaa (Estonia). After graduating from school, he worked on this farm. With the arrival of the Russians, he disappeared into the forest to avoid mobilization into the Red Army. During the period of the German occupation, he was a member of the collaborationist squad "Omakaitse".

With the restoration of Soviet power, he and his friend's wife left the forest and lived legally for a year, working at a mill. State security officials tried to recruit him. Sabbe refused and went back to the forest, where he successfully hid until 1978.

On September 27, 1978, two men — KGB officer Erwin Horace and police inspector Neeme Taavel - were sailing on the Vykhand River, which flows along the Vyrumaa. On the shore they noticed an elderly man fishing. They landed on the shore. Taavel approached the angler and asked how he was biting. Horace photographed them. Then I asked the fisherman to tell me the address where I could send the card.

Sensing a trick, August Sabbe pulled out a pistol, and all three rushed into the river. Then the fisherman rushed to swim to the middle of the river, sank under the water and did not come up again.
So the last "forest brother" died.

By chance, Horace and Taavel came out on Sabbe, who was on the All-Union wanted list as a dangerous criminal, or was it a planned operation? Is unknown. But they were awarded orders.

August Sabbe was buried in Tartu in the part of the cemetery where the unknown are buried: Sabbe was not officially identified. He had no family of his own.

According to Estonian researcher Eerik-Niles a Cross, he was identified by his cousin, but did not dare to admit it.

В общем все происходило как вы описываете. Приведу один, на мой взгляд, показательный пример того как долго продолжалась борьба с этим явлением в СССР. Судьба человека, считающегося последним "лесным братом".

❗️The main thing from the new statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense:

▪️On August 19, Kiev is preparing a resonant provocation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant during a visit to Ukraine by Guterres;

▪️Kyiv plans to strike at the Zaporozhye NPP with the forces of the 44th artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on August 19 from positions in Nikopol;

▪️The Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing to demonstrate the alleged liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Zaporozhye NPP;

▪️The RF Armed Forces are taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the Zaporozhye NPP;

▪️The command of the "Dnepr" group for provocation is deploying radiation observation posts in the Zaporozhye region by August 19;

▪️The Regiment of the RCBZ of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will concentrate at the Zaporozhye NPP in order to record the consequences of the fact of the accident after the planned provocation.

I remember towards the beginning of the war, one of my co workers who gets all his info from MSM told me that the Russians were running out of weapons and Ukraine is really going to give it to them. To this day, I still ask him how the war is going if the Russians are using sticks and stones to fight . The same people that think that Russia is invading Ukraine are the same people making fun of Russia's "slow" progress in invading Ukraine, I guess they cant figure out that it isn't an invasion which is why Ukraine hasn't been "captured".

With the most recent shelling of the nuclear plant in Crimea, In my opinion, I think it shows desperation on the western side. Russia has had a lot of patience but with this attack that could quickly get serious, maybe Russia will let out some of the big guns.

Not surprising from what we've seen but it gets even more absurd when a known Finnish Information Security 'expert' blames Putin - Russian disinfo ya know!

Petteri Järvinen esitti kovan uhkakuvan Sanna Marinin videokohusta: ”Onko joku todella niin typerä?”

From the article:
"According to Petteri Järvinen, the videos produced of Prime Minister Marin's celebration are "feeding into the hands of disinformatics".

"Security expert Petteri Järvinen assesses for Iltalehti that Russia may have a hand in the distribution of party videos of Prime Minister Sanna Marin (sd)."

Despite the MSM trying to hide the fact from western audiences, the Special Military Operation is reaching its defining stage as the Russians crank up the pressure on the so called Zelenskyy Line that is - like its namesake - slowly cracking under the unrelenting pressure:
  • Multiple breakthroughs all along the front, which the Russian forces are taking on head first
  • 70,000 artillery shells delivered by the Russians each and every day (so much for them running out of munitions)
  • Ukrainian commanders have been ordered to abandon the front line battalions as it is becoming too murderous for them to stay, leading to...
  • Ukrainian units reportedly increasingly refusing to obey orders and withdrawing rather than be whipped out
  • Ukrainian casualties reportedly exceeding the previous high of 1,000 a day. Some sources say substantially higher.
What is not well understood is the vast bulk of the fighting thus far has not involved the actual Russian regular army but rather has been done by brigades from the breakaway republics as well as by the Chechens etc. It is estimated that thus far Russia has only committed between 10-15% of its total military capacity to the operation but signs are that is soon to change. Recently actual Russian regular units have begun to join the fray in numbers not seen since the faint around Kiev in the early days of the SO (hitherto the only Russian ground troops regularly employed since have been paratroopers and the much feared Wagner Brigade made up of ex special forces). The nut is not far off cracking and there are significant reports of an enormous build up of both Russian tank and air forces along with substantial movement of Russian regular army units. There is every sign the Russians are carefully prepping for the final big push to the Dnieper river.... and perhaps beyond. August is the big grind; September will be the giant push.

Meanwhile on 16th Vladimir Putin said the following at the 10th Moscow Conference on International Security:

Address to participants and guests of the 10th Moscow Conference on International Security

August 16, 2022

President of Russia Vladimir Putin:

Ladies and gentlemen, Esteemed foreign guests,

Let me welcome you to the anniversary 10th Moscow Conference on International Security. Over the past decade, your representative forum has become a significant venue for discussing the most pressing military-political problems.

Today, such an open discussion is particularly pertinent. The situation in the world is changing dynamically and the outlines of a multipolar world order are taking shape. An increasing number of countries and peoples are choosing a path of free and sovereign development based on their own distinct identity, traditions and values.

These objective processes are being opposed by the Western globalist elites, who provoke chaos, fanning long-standing and new conflicts and pursuing the so-called containment policy, which in fact amounts to the subversion of any alternative, sovereign development options. Thus, they are doing all they can to keep hold onto the hegemony and power that are slipping from their hands; they are attempting to retain countries and peoples in the grip of what is essentially a neocolonial order. Their hegemony means stagnation for the rest of the world and for the entire civilisation; it means obscurantism, cancellation of culture, and neoliberal totalitarianism.

They are using all expedients. The United States and its vassals grossly interfere in the internal affairs of sovereign states by staging provocations, organising coups, or inciting civil wars. By threats, blackmail, and pressure, they are trying to force independent states to submit to their will and follow rules that are alien to them. This is being done with just one aim in view, which is to preserve their domination, the centuries-old model that enables them to sponge on everything in the world. But a model of this sort can only be retained by force.

This is why the collective West – the so-called collective West – is deliberately undermining the European security system and knocking together ever new military alliances. NATO is crawling east and building up its military infrastructure. Among other things, it is deploying missile defence systems and enhancing the strike capabilities of its offensive forces. This is hypocritically attributed to the need to strengthen security in Europe, but in fact quite the opposite is taking place. Moreover, the proposals on mutual security measures, which Russia put forward last December, were once again disregarded.

They need conflicts to retain their hegemony. It is for this reason that they have destined the Ukrainian people to being used as cannon fodder. They have implemented the anti-Russia project and connived at the dissemination of the neo-Nazi ideology. They looked the other way when residents of Donbass were killed in their thousands and continued to pour weapons, including heavy weapons, for use by the Kiev regime, something that they persist in doing now.

Under these circumstances, we have taken the decision to conduct a special military operation in Ukraine, a decision which is in full conformity with the Charter of the United Nations. It has been clearly spelled out that the aims of this operation are to ensure the security of Russia and its citizens and protect the residents of Donbass from genocide.

The situation in Ukraine shows that the United States is attempting to draw out this conflict. It acts in the same way elsewhere, fomenting the conflict potential in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. As is common knowledge, the US has recently made another deliberate attempt to fuel the flames and stir up trouble in the Asia-Pacific. The US escapade towards Taiwan is not just a voyage by an irresponsible politician, but part of the purpose-oriented and deliberate US strategy designed to destabilise the situation and sow chaos in the region and the world. It is a brazen demonstration of disrespect for other countries and their own international commitments. We regard this as a thoroughly planned provocation.

It is clear that by taking these actions the Western globalist elites are attempting, among other things, to divert the attention of their own citizens from pressing socioeconomic problems, such as plummeting living standards, unemployment, poverty, and deindustrialisation. They want to shift the blame for their own failures to other countries, namely Russia and China, which are defending their point of view and designing a sovereign development policy without submitting to the diktat of the supranational elites.

We also see that the collective West is striving to expand its bloc-based system to the Asia-Pacific region, like it did with NATO in Europe. To this end, they are creating aggressive military-political unions such as AUKUS and others.

It is obvious that it is only possible to reduce tensions in the world, overcome military-political threats and risks, improve trust between countries and ensure their sustainable development through a radical strengthening of the contemporary system of a multipolar world.

I reiterate that the era of the unipolar world is becoming a thing of the past. No matter how strongly the beneficiaries of the current globalist model cling to the familiar state of affairs, it is doomed. The historic geopolitical changes are going in a totally different direction.

And, of course, your conference is another important proof of the objective processes forming a multipolar world, bringing together representatives from many countries who want to discuss security issues on an equal footing, and conduct a dialogue that takes into account the interests of all parties, without exception.

I want to emphasise that the multipolar world, based on international law and more just relations, opens up new opportunities for counteracting common threats, such as regional conflicts and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, terrorism and cybercrime. All these challenges are global, and therefore it would be impossible to overcome them without combining the efforts and potentials of all states.

As before, Russia will actively and assertively participate in such coordinated joint efforts; together with its allies, partners and fellow thinkers, it will improve the existing mechanisms of international security and create new ones, as well as consistently strengthen the national armed forces and other security structures by providing them with advanced weapons and military equipment. Russia will secure its national interests, as well as the protection of its allies, and take other steps towards building of a more democratic world where the rights of all peoples and cultural and civilisational diversity are guaranteed.

We need to restore respect for international law, for its fundamental norms and principles. And, of course, it is important to promote such universal and commonly acknowledged agencies as the United Nations and other international dialogue platforms. The UN Security Council and the General Assembly, as it was intended initially, are supposed to serve as effective tools to reduce international tensions and prevent conflicts, as well as facilitate the provision of reliable security and wellbeing of countries and peoples.

In conclusion, I want to thank the conference organisers for their major preparatory work and I wish all participants substantial discussions.

I am sure that the forum will continue to make a significant contribution to the strengthening of peace and stability on our planet and facilitate the development of constructive dialogue and partnership.

Thank you for your attention.

Yes sir, you got my full attention!

What a joy it is to see Putin with his gloves off at last. The long wait, the long period of preparation (the fox in the long grass) is well and truly over. No more 'our partners in the west' and our 'American Partners', its now:
  • Western globalist elites, who provoke chaos
  • a neocolonial order
  • neoliberal totalitarianism.
  • sponge(rs) on everything in the world.
  • the Ukrainian people being used as cannon fodder
  • the diktat of the supranational elites
He couldn't say it more plainly. A fight to the death in which Russia/Putin has come to the ground fully prepared to go the distance. There is no way back from here other than a total Russian victory.

Maria Zakharova noted that in this way the Ukrainian authorities are not just blackmailing one country or a specific political entity, but the entire European continent
MOSCOW, August 18. /TASS/. The Kiev regime's preparations to carry out a high-profile provocation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant during UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ visit to Ukraine is nuclear blackmail, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a Solovyov Live TV broadcast on Thursday.

"This is not just a provocation, this is what we condemned as nuclear blackmail. And what else is it but a long standing provocation around a nuclear facility, a direct threat to nuclear power. This is certainly an act of nuclear blackmail," she stressed.

Zakharova noted that in this way the Ukrainian authorities are not just blackmailing one country or a specific political entity, but the entire European continent. "We are talking about nuclear energy, the whole European continent is being held hostage because this is all in the heart of Europe," she added.

"Today, science has already shown us that consequences of man-made disasters, and different tragedies at nuclear facilities have no boundaries, they only have time limits. Only time can limit the spread of these consequences," the diplomat concluded.

I Heard a Silly Rumor – This Is the End

The end of civilization as we know it is at hand. Why more experts have not seized on the reality facing us perplexes me. It came to me like a bolt, the reason the current world order is pushing for nuclear confrontation. The answer is right in front of us. Nuclear Winter.

I don’t need to rehash the craziness and diabolical machinations that have gone on over the past few years. The pandemic, the societal brain blistering that has caused, the lead-up proxy wars, ISIS, crazy presidents, pedophilia, and child sex charges, the Lolita Express, Hunter Biden, Ukraine. And the real problem of climate change, put into the brainwash blender so average Joe or Judy won’t know up from down. This paragraph must end with Bill Gates, population control, and one of Epstein’s chums owning most of America’s farmland.

Yeah. We are pretty much screwed. They just raided former President Trump’s home, Tulsi Gabbard, Tucker Carlson, and other prominent conservatives are being labeled “traitors” in America. It looks like the rest of us are next if you deal at all with social media. And, judging from the level of ignorance about the realities of a US/Russia nuclear confrontation, society is just dumb enough for a dystopian reset. A series of recent articles illustrate.

A USA Today story, and many others recently, have clued me to the two issues I just pointed out. First, it seems feasible that the screwed-up liberal order that got us in this global warming seems determined to fix it with a perpetual cold front. Second, we’ve been brain battered, propagandized, and dumbed down so far we’re irredeemable. Let me show you why.

A “new” study referenced in the USA Today story says Nuclear war between the US and Russia would leave 5 billion dead from hunger. The author of the study, a Rutgers University climate scientist named Lili Xia, tells us (again) how thousands of nuclear weapons being detonated will send megatons of ash into the stratosphere, blocking out the sun. This is not new science, and the language the scientist uses is for 8-year-olds or nincompoops. Here’s a snippet.

“A large percent of the people will be starving… It’s really bad…. The reduced light, global cooling, and likely trade restrictions after nuclear wars would be a global catastrophe for food security.”
Yes, 12,000 modern nuclear weapons detonating would certainly block out the sun and cause famine, then disease, and maybe even a new Ice Age. The Rutgers charts in the study point to sea and soil temperatures dropping substantially. This would fix global warming but good. But “likely” trade restrictions after global thermonuclear war? This is 21st-century science, the big concern? What are these people smoking? I’ll get to Armageddon in a minute, but first, let me introduce the architects of this climate fix.

And while Bill Gates did not say the population should be controlled through vaccines, he is taking huge steps to prepare for the inevitable. This World Economic Forum story articulates his “warning,” and the Microsoft billionaire is America’s largest private landowner with almost 250,000 acres of farmland.

Now, let’s address what the real Armageddon will look like. I won’t take up your time here. This in-depth report from the height of the Cold War Era through 2003 tells us all we need to know. And if the Rutgers geniuses think their research paints a sad picture, by the time you get to the deep references Dr. Wm. Robert Johnston provides, you’ll realize how few people and animals on this Earth would survive.

These new researchers have made a horrible miscalculation. You see, by the end of the initial nuclear exchange, half the population of the world will be incinerated or blown to bits, and another ¼ will die from radiation and other injuries within weeks. Nothing will work, satellites won’t operate, there won’t be any economy, and the United Nations and most of our institutions will be gone. In the US 5,800 warheads will have detonated, totaling 3,900 megatons. In Russia, nothing within 200 miles of Moscow will be left alive, not even bugs.

According to Dr. Johnston’s research/scenario, more than 200 nuclear warheads would render hundreds of thousands of kilometers lifeless, ruined, and utterly destroyed. Europe will be a mass open grave. Carnage will stretch from the currently undamaged Kyiv to the Pyrenees. Spain and Portugal may be the last strongholds of living souls. This MIT excerpt from the 2021 book “Nuclear Choices for the Twenty-First Century: A Citizen’s Guide” by Richard Wolfson and Ferenc Dalnoki-Veress, substantiates Johnson’s previous research.

In 60 years, there will still be vast reaches of land that are unusable. Genetic defects will have shown up in a big percentage of the few hundred million who survived. New Zealand and Argentina will be world powers in this new dystopia. We’ll have the brave new world, that marvelous reset Schwab and the globalists have been stirring. Greta Thunberg and the climate alarmists will finally fall silent (one way or another).

And now, I leave you with the final words from our Rutgers genius, Professor Alan Robock, who co-authored the study with Lili Xia, which was aimed at the world’s zombified population. It’s a groundbreaking revelation:

“The data tells us one thing: We must prevent a nuclear war from ever happening.”
It’s happening. It’s the only strategy of the elites that makes any sense.
