US Takes Wheat Out Of Ukraine. War-Torn Country Doomed To Famine

In exchange for weapons and illusory prospects of becoming a member of the “European family”, the Kiev regime is dooming its own people to a protracted food crisis.

After the launch of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, Russian forces blocked the access to the Ukrainian vital seaports in the Black Sea. Before the war, around 5 million tons were shipped each month through the Black Sea. One of the main goods exported from Ukraine were grain crops for Europe.

This became another pretext for accusing Russia of provoking the food crisis in the West. However, a brief analysis of the policy of the Kiev regime and the decisions announced by the United States and European countries predict a long-planned famine in Ukraine.

US President Joe Biden attempted to reassure the Americans that there is no threat of food crisis in the country as the grain can be easily taken from the war-torn Ukraine. He claimed that there are 20 million tons of grain in Ukraine, and now the issue of its export is being resolved. In his opinion, this will help bring down world food prices.

Video of President Biden, stating the aove

On May 11, the European Commission will consider a strategy that would address technical and bureaucratic initiatives to speed up the shipping of vegetable oils, corn and wheat, some of Ukraine’s key exports, people familiar with the discussions said Bloomberg.

Europe intends to export crops by rail and , since the seaports are blocked by the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The problem is that the export capacity of the railway is low. Ukraine’s products also face a myriad of phytosanitary measures and quotas for land transport that complicate their ability to pass through various member states to their final destination, Bloomberg sources reported.

These are the main problems that the EU is set to resolve as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, giant columns of grain carriers are spotted in the Moldovan port of Giurgiulesti on the Danube. Hundreds of trucks are exporting grain from the territory of Ukraine to the EU countries.

“This reminds me of 1941, when Hitler exported grain from the USSR, took it out — and then attacked. So we export grain to Europe, so that they then take us for a naked ass, cold and hungry,” the author of the video comments.

The price the Kiev regime pays for the supply of weapons and financial support of its allies is too high.

According to the official Ukrainian data, the total amount of wheat produced in 2021/2022 MY amounted to 32,4 million tons. Based on the analysis of exports over the last five seasons (2016-2021), Ukraine exports about 80 percent of its wheat. About 6 million tons traditionally remain on the domestic market. This year, about 26 million tons were designated for export.

According to the Ukrainian statistics, since the beginning of the season, which started on July 1 2021, and as of December 15, exports of crops and grain legumes from Ukraine already reached 28.7 million tons. Wheat exports accounted for 56%. Until December 15, at least 16 million tons of wheat were exported.

During the period from December 15 2021 to February 24, 2022, exports continued in full via the usual logistics chains. After the closure of the sea ports, exports did not stop, but were reoriented to land channels. Only railways allow to export about 1.1 million tons of grain per month. Millions of tons are transferred by trucks. According to the most conservative estimates, from December 15 to May 10, at least 6 tons of wheat were additionally exported.

The entire harvest of 2021 MY was already exported and used for the needs of the Ukrainian domestic market

Various Western sources, including US President Biden, declare the need for the immediate export of additional 20 tons of wheat from Ukraine. This is grain from Ukrainian strategic reserves in the amount of at least four months of wheat consumption by the domestic Ukrainian market.

In the context of the impending global food crisis provoked by the Western sanctions against Russia and disruption of supply chains, the United States and European countries are aiming to replenish their reserves, thanks to the crops taken from the Ukrainian people.

n December 2021, Ukrainian experts reported that “representatives of the flour and grain industries announced an unbalanced wheat trade: high-quality food grades were supplied to foreign markets, and fodder remained for Ukrainian consumers. After the refusal of the Ministry of Agriculture to fix export limits by class in the export-regulating memorandum, the Association of Millers, the All-Ukrainian Association of Bakers and Ukrhlebprom withdrew their signatures under the document. This happened for the first time in 10 years and jeopardized the functioning of one of the most effective mechanisms of mutual understanding in the grain market.”

The policy of the Kiev regime reveal clear signs of famine planning in Ukraine. Amid the ongoing military operations, the sowing season was disrupted in many of Ukrainian regions. The male part of the population were called up for military service, some regions are under control of the Russian Armed Forces. Moreover, the spring of 2022 is significantly colder than in 2021. Not to mention the dysfunction of the agricultural sector, which was sharply reoriented to foreign consumers to the detriment of the Ukrainian market.

Regardless of the developments on the frontline, the harvest in 2022-2023 MY will be much smaller.

At the same time, other branches of agriculture in Ukraine also faced crisis phenomena long before the start of military operations.

According to the Ukrainian statistics, egg production decreased by 13.5%, milk – by 5.8%, meat – by 2%, wool by 6.3%. According to the Association “Union of Poultry Farmers”, Ukraine imported eggs from Belarus in July – August 2021 for the first time since 1991.

The number of various agricultural animals also critically decreased:
• Cattle – by 6.9% (2.93 million cattle heads):
• pigs – by 4.7% (5.83 million heads):
• sheep and goats – by 5.9% (1.19 million heads).

According to experts of the Association “Pig Breeders of Ukraine”, the cattle breeding in Ukraine has already passed the point of no return in 2021 and “the restoration of the livestock is almost impossible.”

As of November 2021, the food prices in Ukraine increased by almost 15%. In 2021, bread has increased in price by 18.9%, dairy products by 15.2%, meat products by 15.4%, sugar by 20.4%.

It is obvious that such a policy of the Kiev regime will lead to a critical shortage of food by the autumn-winter of 2022-2023.

A similar situation took place in the USSR in the early 1930s, when the young Soviet state, weakened by the First World War and the Civil War, was forced to export large volumes of grain, including wheat, to the United States and other Western countries, including Germany. In 1930-1031, the USSR exported about 2.5 million tons per year.
In 1932-1933, the agrarian policy of the USSR, which caused a crop failure, led to famine in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. The number of deaths in Ukraine amounted to 3 million 917.8 thousand people, Russia — 3 million 264.6 thousand, Kazakhstan — 1 million 258.2 thousand people, in total 8 million 731.9 thousand people throughout the USSR.
In 2023, the tragedy may be repeated in Ukraine because of Kiev’s policy. Russia will once again be declared the culprit of the Ukraine.

I don't know if it's true or not either, but was just thinking this morning that it would be unusual if the west didn't expect their funding and military equipment support to be repayed and these were not gifts but loans.

If this is true, then what do you bet that, when he retired, he actually moved over to one of those black budget intel agencies and has been doing the DS's dirty business ever since?

Journalist reports similarities between Ukrainian and American torture techniques.
Written by Lucas Leiroz, researcher in Social Sciences at the Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro; geopolitical consultant.
Western media accuse Russia of perpetrating war crimes in Ukraine and committing human rights violations against civilians and prisoners. However, these same agencies are absolutely silent in the face of the evident practices of torture by Kiev’s agents against their enemies, which, curiously, present several similarities with the already known torture techniques applied by the CIA, according to a recent report by a journalist. The matter raises suspicions about a possible “instruction” that would be transmitted by American intelligence to Ukrainian neo-Nazis on “how to torture”.
On May 6, a meeting was held at the United Nations Security Council in order to discuss topics concerning the war crimes committed by Kiev against the population of Donbass during the eight years of conflict. Various evidence was presented, showing that such crimes are real and constitute indeed a serious problem in the region. The proofs included photos, videos, oral testimonies from residents of Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as many other materials collected by journalists on the ground.
One of the journalist team’s leaders is the Dutch independent reporter Sonja van den Ende, who categorically claims that there is irrefutable evidence of the collaboration between Ukrainian official forces and neo-Nazi battalions in the execution of such crimes, showing that the practice is institutionalized and not restricted to isolated paramilitary groups. She also states that, despite the material presented, some Western countries – mainly US, UK, and France – showed an “arrogant” attitude, being disrespectful to the delicacy of the subject and ignoring the evidence of suffering of the people of Donbass, as well as despising the work of journalists.
These were some of her words: “I participated in the UN Security Council Arria-Formula meeting on 6 May 2022 (…) The goal of this meeting was to present to the United Nations (UN) members evidence about war crimes committed by the Ukrainian Army in cooperation with the Azov Battalion which was provided by us, journalists on the ground, in Donbass. The evidence was presented in the form of videos and oral testimonies, from residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, especially Mariupol, Volnovakha and Melitiopol (…) [However] They (Western countries) completely ignored us and didn’t ask any questions (…) I personally made some remarks at the end of the meeting. I asked them if they want WWIII and why they don’t listen to us, the journalists, who are working on the ground”.
More than simply ignoring the gravity of the facts, the representatives of the Western powers even tried to deny the irrefutable evidence of such crimes. Rodney Hunter, political coordinator for the US Mission to the United Nations, claimed that Russia was “misusing” the Council’s functions and “spewing falsehoods, disinformation, lies and false narratives”. He ignored the fact that the accusations were not simply “made by Russia” but corroborated by an international team of journalists.
In fact, this Western attitude was already expected by all analysts who study the Ukrainian case. Silence and disdain have already become central hallmarks of the way Kiev’s allies deal with the countless evidence of war crimes, genocide and torture committed by the Ukrainian armed forces and Russophobic neo-Nazi militias. Russia has been trying to resolve the case in international instances for a long time, but without success, as is the case with the lawsuit filed within the European Court and ignored by the judges. The impossibility of peaceful resolution was one of the reasons why the military operation became inevitable.
What seems most shocking, however, is the fact that the reports pointed out by Van den Ende states as a conclusion that there is a similarity in practices between the acts of torture witnessed in the Donbass and those practiced by US agents in other parts of the world. Some of the journalists who participated in the investigations in Donbass, including Sonja herself, had previously participated in similar activities elsewhere, investigating crimes of torture committed by Americans. These professionals see an extreme similarity of practices in both cases and believe that this is not a mere coincidence.
The Dutch journalist stated that the torture techniques she saw practiced in a secret Ukrainian prison in Mariupol are strikingly similar to those practiced by the CIA in clandestine detention sites around the world. These techniques include acts of extreme violence, such as the so-called “enhanced interrogations”, where the interrogated are physically hurt in order to give information – a practice that was already confirmed by the US Senate, in 2014, to have been used by the CIA against prisoners.
Furthermore, Van den Ende claims that she has found evidence that Ukrainian neo-Nazis practice the so-called “waterboarding”, a drowning technique that is also widely used by the CIA, which leads her to believe that the Azov Battalion and other Ukrainian nationalist militias have been specifically trained by the Americans on “how to torture” their detainees.
Considering the high level of proximity between US intelligence and Ukrainian neo-Nazis, it does not seem surprising that the US has in fact operated some sort of clandestine training, teaching torture techniques considered “efficient”. What is surprising is that international organizations remain silent in the face of such an absurd fact. Something so serious cannot in any way be ignored: sanctions must be applied against the US for its connivance with Ukrainian crimes in Donbass.

"The remnant hundreds of armed Ukrainian Azov battalion militants which had refused to come out have now surrendered in the Monday night hours. "Reuters saw about a dozen buses apparently carrying Ukrainian fighters leaving the plant on Monday. It was not possible to determine how many people were aboard."

"Widespread reports say that some 300 Ukrainian fighters have laid down their weapons and emerged from the cavernous facility. "More than 260 Ukrainian soldiers were evacuated from the besieged Azovstal steel plant"

"Azov issued a statement on Telegram saying they are "implementing the approved decision of the Supreme Military Command" in order to "save lives".

"Russian media is also widely reporting the surrender at Azovstal, with RT airing some of the first footage of the evacuation of the last fighters to leave..."

"The Moscow Times is quoting confirmation from Ukraine's president - who is applauding the safe surrender:"

"The surrendered troops are reportedly now in the custody of the pro-Moscow Donetsk People’s Republic."

"Last month President Putin is said to have ordered the military to simply wait them out,"

"When asked about Turkey's reservations on Sunday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said "I’m very confident that we will reach consensus on that"

"But now Erdogan has defiantly poured cold water on the collective Western enthusiasm for achieving the consensus needed among the 30 NATO member states to admit new countries. There was even talk of 'fast-tracking' them, which now seems like a fantasy in light of Turkey's stance."

"Bloomberg too notes following Erdogan's Monday speech that "he intends to block membership for the two countries, or at least extract concessions for it" - following their separate weekend announcements which came hours apart, affirming they will apply."

"The New York Times is coming under heavy criticism for announcing the end of the lengthy Russian siege of the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol with the below tweet and headline saying Ukraine ended its "combat mission" in Mariupol on Monday. Objectively... they were evacuated to Russian-controlled territory, in a Russian-controlled hospital, by Russian forces."

"The "paper of record" managed to completely avoid the reality that some 300 Azov militants surrendered - instead opting to suggest that somehow Ukraine's forces decided to wind down its "combat mission". The headline also emphasized they were "being evacuated".

Almost everyone is on the same line, including Zelensky obviously... speaking of bullshit, even the Spanish are literally blaming Putin for Ukraine winning the Eurovision song contest; instead of his song.

Russian Defense Ministry reports drone chemical attack on Russian troops in Ukraine

23 APR, 2022

The US is preparing provocations to accuse Russia of using chemical, biological or tactical nuclear weapons, Chief of Russian Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Force, Igor Kirillov said.

The above mentioned Chief Igor Kirillov gave a press conference on May 11 on biological attacks. He talks about the involvement of NATO, Germany and Poland, and about how highly contaminating microorganisms are spread among Ukrainian civilians, eg: through money.

There is a comment on the material presented:

I would bet that yesterday Erdogan repaid Putin for saving his life during the 2016 coup attempt and blocked any NATO expansion.

I don't like the guy, but he strikes me in this regard as a man of honor.

Great 4D chess move by Putin.

Erdogan: Turkey cannot say "yes" to the membership of Finland and Sweden in NATO, it is impossible, let them not be offended.

Delegations from Sweden and Finland should not bother to travel to Turkey to convince Ankara to approve their NATO bids

Swedish government rejects Aeroflot’s application to fly to Stockholm
11 May 2022

Just a little notice about Aeroflot wanted to fly to Stockholm this summer, which has been denied. The article is said to have been originated at "Nyheter24", and published via Aviation.be in english on 11 May 2022.

The Swedish government rejects the Russian airline Aeroflot’s application to fly between Moscow Sheremetyevo and Stockholm Arlanda this summer (2022)

Now we apply the sanctions and thus put pressure on Russia during the conflict that is going on,” says Minister of Infrastructure Tomas Eneroth.
Aeroflot applied “relatively recently” for a traffic permit to fly regularly during the summer period on the routes Moscow-Arlanda and Arlanda-Moscow.

Due to the sanctions, it is the government that evaluates the traffic applications instead of, as usual, the Swedish Transport Agency.

I assume that you (Aeroflot) are prepared that you will not get the application approved. I may be surprised that an application has been submitted,” says Tomas Eneroth. He points out that the whole of the EU applies the same rules and that similar rejection processes take place in several European countries. “It is important that in accordance with the sanctions that exist, we are clear towards Russia and do not open up for air traffic,” the minister says.

The EU decision on sanctions against Russia means, among other things, that aircraft that are registered in Russia or that are owned or controlled by Russian companies or private individuals are not allowed to fly over any EU country.

Netflix' Mindgames

On a different note, I found a Netflix "comedy special" image, which I felt was rather sarcastic, joking about World War III (but I have no clue about the series' performance - and frankly, I am not interested either).

Thinking it through a bit more, while also looking at a map and thinking about Putin's way of handling things, I still think the Russians might consider such a move, BUT only as the very last resort and ONLY if neighboring NATO states make concrete moves of thinking about installing threatening weapon systems (such as nuclear types). The red line for Russia might even be farther away than that, in some of those countries: if those countries are actually (in a fact on the ground manner) installing/placing such systems/weapons on their territory.

If you look at the map, Estonia and Latvia (both NATO states) are quite close to Saint Petersburg while Estonia is as close to Saint Petersburg (or more so) as Finland would be. Also, Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia are similarly close to Moscow. Yet, the Russians have not felt the need to defend themselves in regard to Estonia and Latvia (yet). So, I think the logical (and publically announced) red line for the Russians is an actual concrete thinking about installing (or worse, actual installment) of such threatening weapons. Which is what happened in Ukraine.

So, I don't think Putin and co. will do anything in Finland if they join NATO, unless the above-mentioned red line is crossed.

Looks like that is what Putin just said here:

As for the expansion, including the accession of two prospective new members, Finland and Sweden, I would like to inform you, colleagues, that Russia has no problems with these states. No problems at all! In this sense, therefore, there is no direct threat to Russia in connection with NATO’s expansion to these countries. But the expansion of its military infrastructure to these territories will certainly evoke a response on our part. We will see what it will be like based on the threats that are created for us. But generally speaking, problems are being created from nothing. So, we will respond to it in a fitting manner.

As for Finland, Putin will have an excuse to "denazify" it:

"But did you know that the Finnish Air Force had a swastika on their official flag until June 2020⁉️
And they wore it through the streets on every occasion and holiday😳‼️

Such a curiosity...😏(in case of denazification)"
