My beloved friend companion dog has died today.

shellycheval, so so sorry for you and your doggie, the shock from such a thing happening so quickly with no time to prepare for the realization takes time to overcome. You and your other companions will miss him dearly and I feel for what you are going through. Please take good care of yourself.
 
Again, thanks to all for your touching condolences. I just wrote about his passing a little on Guardian's thread whose dear dog Lily is also very ill. My sympathy to all of you out there with old, frail, and ill animal companions--on some level their loss is one of the hardest to bare here in 3D. I am sad but have peace knowing what a good life and quick passing he had.

losing our animal companions is always difficult. I feel for your loss and I will raise my glass later today in honour of the joy peck brought into our world.
 
Just saw this thread. I'm sorry for your loss shellycheval. It seems you both enjoyed living together.
