Cassiopedia page

It seems the Cassiopedia site is down or gone. When I click on the link the message in my browser that comes up is:
"Sorry,"www.cassiopedia.org" does not exist or is not available."

Has it been taken down in purpose or is it a glitch?

Hope to see it up and running soon again! :)

The Cassiopaea Glossary is still up and running.

Thanks Nienna! I totally forgot about that one since I got so used to Cassiopedia.
Btw, I also just figured out the issue, I think.
The address used to be www.cassiopedia.org and that's when the error message comes. However I can access it without the www :
http://cassiopedia.org/glossary/Main_Page

I checked the link to Cassiopedia on the "Tips and advice for Newbies" thread http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=13406.0
The error message comes up there as well. I think if somone changes the link without the www it'll work fine.

Not sure why it has changed and what happened though.

Thanks, I edited that post and all future intros to newbies will contain the correct address for the Cassiopedia.

Just wondering if anyone knows why http://www.cassiopedia.org/ is down today? TY. Peace

Hi Raintree,

The Cassiopedia link does not include the "www" anymore. The correct link now is http://cassiopedia.org/glossary/Main_Page :)

Thanks Vulcan. In that case then I just want to inform FOTCM team that the links in the Statement Of Principles must be also updated to take the "www" out.

Moreover, I have the same problem with the page on IE8, but Firefox is fine. Also, on IE8, there has always been a scrolling problem when you want to post - the page keeps going up and down after a certain body of text is reached. Thanks guys. Peace :)

I found a small workaround, if someone likes to use the new cassiopedia page more, cause of the design, or whatever.

Still the menu overlaps, but if you know for what are you looking for, for example external consideration, you can with the safari browser use the internal reader option, which can be found in the address bar. Click on "reader" and you can read the content without anything overlapping. :)

Also, for those who like to use IE8 and the menu overlaps, just go to the tools menu and check the "compatibility view". This fixes the overlap problem with IE8. Peace

cassiopedia.org and google chrome

I'm not sure if cassiopedia.org is being maintained anymore, but I wanted to report a style bug in any case. When I view the site in google chrome browser the sidebar menu is floating on top of the main content. I'm attaching a screenshot.

I used chrome's developer tools to look at the styling. #column-content div is picking up a 200px margin from KHTMLFixes.css line 3 that is overriding the 450px margin from main.css line 153 that it should have. You could fix this by adding "!important" to the entry in main.css.

Hi Seamas,

This issue has been bought up before. I'll merge your post. :)
