Baha'i anybody ?

Well, after much thought, I am back to say something more.

It is patently obvious to me that the 'Bahai Faith' has been ponerized from the day its founder died. That is also what happened to the work of the man called Jesus and it also happened to the teachings of the man called Buddha. Nevertheless, the following extract from Baha'u'llah's Kitab-i-Iqan, to my simple mind, can only be described a STO - Service to Others.

One should be aware that the teachings of Baha'u'llah should not be understood as the same as the teachings of His son Abdul Baha, nor of the writings of subsequent leaders of that distorted and fractured religion called the 'Bahai Faith'. Please bear in mind that Gurdjieff himself alluded to 'progressive revelation' in Beelzebub's tales to his grandson, but failed to portray the unity of all these 'faiths' of 'God' - mentioning only Bhuddism, Lamaism and Christianity. Further, if one puts credance in Sufi teachings like those of Ibn al-'Arabi, then one must also acknowledge the Quran. This is just a taste of the continuous revelation of Him, also known as God - He/not He.

One should also be careful to remove the veils of interpretation from these lamps of guidance, and seek the truth in one's own heart. The 'Bahai Faith' is not true to its founder's direction, inasmuch as it has clipped one wing of the bird of mankind by removing equality between men and women, regardless of Baha'u'llah's teaching to the contrary. Also, the 'Bahai Faith' has abrogated one other of the cornerstones of His teachings - that is, the independant investigation of truth, in their ID card. Be fair in your appraisal of his beautiful words. Consider in your heart of hearts, beyond the snares of your predator mind, before you throw out the baby in the dirty bath water. Please read the following quote if you will, with a mind free of prejudice which now you can if you have been practicing EE and the 'Work'.

"But, O my brother, when a true seeker determineth to take the step of search in the path leading to the knowledge of the Ancient of Days, he must, before all else, cleanse and purify his heart, which is the seat of the revelation of the inner mysteries of God, from the obscuring dust of all acquired knowledge, and the allusions of the embodiments of satanic fancy. He must purge his breast, which is the sanctuary of the abiding love of the Beloved, of every defilement, and sanctify his soul from all that pertaineth to water and clay, from all shadowy and ephemeral attachments. He must so cleanse his heart that no remnant of either love or hate may linger therein, lest that love blindly incline him to error, or that hate repel him away from the truth. Even as thou dost witness in this 193 day how most of the people, because of such love and hate, are bereft of the immortal Face, have strayed far from the Embodiments of the divine mysteries, and, shepherdless, are roaming through the wilderness of oblivion and error. That seeker must at all times put his trust in God, must renounce the peoples of the earth, detach himself from the world of dust, and cleave unto Him Who is the Lord of Lords. He must never seek to exalt himself above any one, must wash away from the tablet of his heart every trace of pride and vainglory, must cling unto patience and resignation, observe silence, and refrain from idle talk. For the tongue is a smouldering fire, and excess of speech a deadly poison. Material fire consumeth the body, whereas the fire of the tongue devoureth both heart and soul. The force of the former lasteth but for a time, whilst the effects of the latter endure a century.
That seeker should also regard backbiting as grievous error, and keep himself aloof from its dominion, inasmuch as backbiting quencheth the light of the heart, and extinguisheth the life of the soul. He should be content with little, and be freed from all inordinate desire. He should 194 treasure the companionship of those that have renounced the world, and regard avoidance of boastful and worldly people a precious benefit. At the dawn of every day he should commune with God, and with all his soul persevere in the quest of his Beloved. He should consume every wayward thought with the flame of His loving mention, and, with the swiftness of lightning, pass by all else save Him. He should succour the dispossessed, and never withhold his favour from the destitute. He should show kindness to animals, how much more unto his fellow-man, to him who is endowed with the power of utterance. He should not hesitate to offer up his life for his Beloved, nor allow the censure of the people to turn him away from the Truth. He should not wish for others that which he doth not wish for himself, nor promise that which he doth not fulfil. With all his heart should the seeker avoid fellowship with evil doers, and pray for the remission of their sins. He should forgive the sinful, and never despise his low estate, for none knoweth what his own end shall be. How often hath a sinner, at the hour of death, attained to the essence of faith, and, quaffing the immortal draught, hath taken his flight unto the celestial Concourse. And how often hath a devout believer, 195 at the hour of his soul's ascension, been so changed as to fall into the nethermost fire. Our purpose in revealing these convincing and weighty utterances is to impress upon the seeker that he should regard all else beside God as transient, and count all things save Him, Who is the Object of all adoration, as utter nothingness.
These are among the attributes of the exalted, and constitute the hall-mark of the spiritually-minded. They have already been mentioned in connection with the requirements of the wayfarers that tread the Path of Positive Knowledge. When the detached wayfarer and sincere seeker hath fulfilled these essential conditions, then and only then can he be called a true seeker. Whensoever he hath fulfilled the conditions implied in the verse: "Whoso maketh efforts for Us,"[1] he shall enjoy the blessing conferred by the words: "In Our ways shall We assuredly guide him."[2]
[1 Qur'án 29:69.]
[2 Ibid.]
Only when the lamp of search, of earnest striving, of longing desire, of passionate devotion, of fervid love, of rapture, and ecstasy, is kindled within the seeker's heart, and the breeze of His loving-kindness is wafted upon his soul, will the darkness of error be dispelled, the mists of doubts and misgivings be dissipated, and the lights of knowledge and certitude envelop his being. At that hour will the mystic Herald, bearing the joyful tidings of the Spirit, shine forth from the City of God resplendent as the morn, and, through the trumpet-blast of knowledge, will awaken the heart, the soul, and the spirit from the slumber of negligence. Then will the manifold favours and outpouring grace of the holy and everlasting Spirit confer such new life upon the seeker that he will find himself endowed with a new eye, a new ear, a new heart, and a new mind. He will contemplate the manifest signs of the universe, and will penetrate the hidden mysteries of the soul. Gazing with the eye of God, he will perceive within every atom a door that leadeth him to the stations of absolute certitude. He will discover in all things the mysteries of divine Revelation and the evidences of an everlasting manifestation.
I swear by God! Were he that treadeth the path of guidance and seeketh to scale the heights of righteousness to attain unto this glorious and supreme station, he would inhale at a distance of 197 a thousand leagues the fragrance of God, and would perceive the resplendent morn of a divine Guidance rising above the dayspring of all things. Each and every thing, however small, would be to him a revelation, leading him to his Beloved, the Object of his quest. So great shall be the discernment of this seeker that he will discriminate between truth and falsehood even as he doth distinguish the sun from shadow. If in the uttermost corners of the East the sweet savours of God be wafted, he will assuredly recognize and inhale their fragrance, even though he be dwelling in the uttermost ends of the West. He will likewise clearly distinguish all the signs of God -- His wondrous utterances, His great works, and mighty deeds -- from the doings, words and ways of men, even as the jeweller who knoweth the gem from the stone, or the man who distinguisheth the spring from autumn and heat from cold. When the channel of the human soul is cleansed of all worldly and impeding attachments, it will unfailingly perceive the breath of the Beloved across immeasurable distances, and will, led by its perfume, attain and enter the City of Certitude. Therein he will discern the wonders of His ancient wisdom, and will perceive all the hidden teachings from 198 the rustling leaves of the Tree -- which flourisheth in that City. With both his inner and his outer ear he will hear from its dust the hymns of glory and praise ascending unto the Lord of Lords, and with his inner eye will he discover the mysteries of "return" and "revival." How unspeakably glorious are the signs, the tokens, the revelations, and splendours which He Who is the King of names and attributes hath destined for that City! The attainment of this City quencheth thirst without water, and kindleth the love of God without fire. Within every blade of grass are enshrined the mysteries of an inscrutable wisdom, and upon every rose-bush a myriad nightingales pour out, in blissful rapture, their melody. Its wondrous tulips unfold the mystery of the undying Fire in the Burning Bush, and its sweet savours of holiness breathe the perfume of the Messianic Spirit. It bestoweth wealth without gold, and conferreth immortality without death. In every leaf ineffable delights are treasured, and within every chamber unnumbered mysteries lie hidden.
They that valiantly labour in quest of God's will, when once they have renounced all else but Him, will be so attached and wedded to that City that a 199 moment's separation from it would to them be unthinkable. They will hearken unto infallible proofs from the Hyacinth of that assembly, and receive the surest testimonies from the beauty of its Rose and the melody of its Nightingale. Once in about a thousand years shall this City be renewed and re-adorned". (Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Iqan)

A bit too metaphoric for my tastes.

Yes, highly metaphorical - florid to despair, but also powerful and elegant. The original work in Persian is highly poetic I read elsewhere, and I regret my lack of an ability to read the original as it is for myself.
But as beautiful and elegant as the works are, why is no mention made of the pathological process that causes all our problems in the first place? Where is the guidance to help us sense the predator, without which no doubt our lives would be much more humane, perhaps even God like.

As horrible as it is for me personally, I have to consider that the predator is bonded tightly to this process of 'progressive revelation' that we see in the evolvement of our civilization. Why else such deafening silence from the 'mouthpieces of God', about ponerogenesis which is so evident in the birthing of these Ways for the second type of man? Why so damn vague about the psycho/physical process that engenders man seek guidance and discipline in the first place. The prophets can prophesy about future events, why cannot they describe a predatory process in man that is evident to the objective observer?

I love the words of Baha'u'llah, and I certainly love the passage quoted above. His words were my identification for years. But the more objective I become, thanks to my peers networking with Cassiopaea, I see another classic set up called inflame the hearts of the believers. Grease the wheels of the new cause with the blood of martyrs, and then admonish those who pay attention and are attracted to believe, to disperse and promulgate this impressive event to everyone they can.

I am reminded of the frightening possibility stated in the channeling of "War in Heaven 1988". I too, consider the warnings of the C's and the admonitions of Gurdjieff for the importance of waking up to objective reality - and I know with certainty the marks of the predator in our lives and the conscious WORK required in setting oneself free. But it still guts me that such despicable actions as those manifested by the predator could be enshrined in the beauty of a life sacrificed for others as these 'mouthpieces of God' appear to have done. Where does the predator end and God begin? Ibn al-Arabi teaches us about the two faces of God, - He/not He (why not She/not She?). The prime Creator shows us a Merciful face and a Wrathful one. Both conditions exist in the realm of the possible within which we find ourselves and it is up to each of us to choose the Return, or to choose destruction in selfhood.

It intrigues me that the Sufi teachings seem divergent from their Quranic root, yet they quote the Quran with great diligence. Perhaps this new Way of the monk which we see in Baha'u'll'ah's words will evolve its own 'inner Way' of the fourth man if it has time. Baha'u'llah talked of an event he describes as "soon will the old world order will be rolled up, and a new one rolled out in its stead". He refers to it as "The Most Great Peace" and I have wondered if that prophecy somehow relates to our own Wave.

Is this revelatory religious process some kind of partnership between STO and STS forces to grow us toward either, emancipation and life or to decline and food; as we ourselves choose? The C's have alluded to this kind of joint effort in resource management and I am sure I have read such in the "Secret History of the World". Please correct this unscholarly post if I am wrong. edit: here is link http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=13425.msg100389#msg100389

Who among us will attain 4th density? How many of them will become enslaved to ponerogenic forces and be carried away as religious 'food', or have their souls smashed for whatever gain that offers the victor? Are the predators amassing for the final banquet, for which they have been seeding and nurturing human lives for millennia? Perhaps they have invited their friends or extended family for the bloody harvest of pain?

Those alien bastards have been working overtime and their subtleties know no bounds. I should thank them I suppose, for providing me an excellent learning experience. Well thank you mate, oh wrathful face of DCM. Through your hand I am delivered up to my truth, and have a chance for a real Individuality, as my unique part in Divine Cosmic Mind. But I sorrow for my beloved Earth Mother, and the turtle dove on my clothesline.

Keep those shocks a-coming, that they may awaken me even more. It is better for me to suffer the strain of 'thinking with a hammer' now than wither away as not 'I' in your hypnotically loving offerings of life hereafter. You are oh so subtle, you evil entropic bastards, and at some level of reality we are one. Two forces, one entropic, one creative. We there seem locked in an eternal work to produce the realized 'man'; myself, 'I' - inasmuch as we are out-rays of the essence of the unknowable Divine Cosmic Mind, in whom, we finally know our being. OSIT

STO, STS. Two sides of the coin of the Divine Cosmic Mind. Now it sounds like a game of luck! Enough said, now roll that die.

The very fact that it is highly poetic and metaphoric is a 'tell', I would think, especially if it is considered metaphorically accurate. To me, such presentations are to general audiences and are only directed to "those with eyes to see and ears to hear" because it should be absorbed without interference by the predator's mind.

Because of the reason in the first sentence, maybe? Not so much because a particular Truth Teacher is ponerized, even though they may be, but he might simply know what he's up against, osit. Wouldn't make much sense to ask for death before your work is done, would it? :)

Yes, this has been discussed here.

Thanks Bud, your response is helpful.

On the specific subject of Bah'u'llah, I think this man genuinely channeled something of power in extraordinary circumstances. His persona seems to have been taken over in a possession which he fervently allowed.

I also think the man displayed genuine love, but of an extremely narcissistic kind. His power to spell bind was of exceptional strength and it is recorded in contemporary accounts that he went to great length to amplify that power in a ritual every believer was required to undergo in order to enter his presence(but only briefly).

During his years in Akka, contrary to his custom when he was in Baghdad and Edirne, Baha’u’llah lived largely in seclusion. No one was allowed to visit him except by special permission. Each visitor was carefully prepared for his audience with the Manifestation of God. He was told that what he saw when he came into the Divine Presence would depend on what he was himself – if he was a material person he would see only a man, but if he was a spiritual being he would see God.(48) When his expectations had been sufficiently aroused, the pilgrim was led into the presence of Baha’u’llah and was permitted to gaze far a few moments upon “The Blessed Perfection,” care being taken that the visitation should end before the spell was broken. The almost magical effect of such visits is seen in the account which Professor Browne has given of his experience in Akka in 1890.(49)

The charactorpathy extended into his eldest son, by nurture or by genes and whom by account was not above murder. The eldest son's (Abdul Baha) ability to spell bind is also evident in these contemporary accounts.

Not only did Abdu’1-Baha and his followers not remain silent, they went beyond angry wards. Browne has published evidence(43) which proves conclusively that at least in one instance the old Babi method of assassination was resorted to by Abdu’l-Baha to get rid of a dangerous enemy...Mirza Yahya[staunch supporter of Abdul Baha's brother] refused to repent, and said he had no faith in either the sender or his father (Baha). A few nights later Mirza Yahya was found in the house in serious condition with blood flowing from his throat, and after several days he died. This occurred in October, 1898...The cause of the sudden death of Mirza Yahya, having occurred in the Iranian Consulate in Jedda, was not investigated, and was no doubt accounted an act of God.

The psychopathy is evident in the idea that one of the points of divine expression is limited to a few 'special men' while all other of the infinitely great expressions are somehow of lesser capacity or worth. True there are degrees and frequencies, but they all sourced in the One. That Infinite Point, as Mouravieff patiently presents, in the great cosmic 'sacrifice'; is represented by infinite greatness in countless forms, expressed and unexpressed, potential and realized as Ibn al-Arabi further points out.

To spell bind with pathological displays of love and fear is the mark of the psychopath I agree. Yes he got some of it right, that was the STO involvement I think. But what was right was also wrapped up in pathological power games using hypnosis and malignant disinformation. That was pure STS.
I give thanks to Divine Cosmic Mind; that my eyes have been made clear on this issue. For sure, my own mind was wrapped up Baha'u'llah's briars of scented rose.

But once infected with the seed of elegant language I cannot help myself but write that the tulip of my heart grows in fields of eternal life. It is vibrant and transparent, yet everywhere I smell its fragrance and feel its touch in my beloved’s eyes. You, in all your forms, are my beloved; infinite greatness before my eyes, carried in the heart, ruler of the mind. I give thanks to Jacob Needleman for that treasured insight, but thank more the painstaking knowledge gathered by Laura Knight Jadczyk, and the countless others on the Way. And now while this shadow is absorbed by your light, oh thou, infinite and final point, I also give thanks to the turtle dove now gone from my clothesline and rest my joy in the knowledge that out of this tortured earth, new life has grown in a spirit that reveals itself each moment this awareness touches its heart.

The long journey is worth every step of its Way. Leave the predator to its own fate. Let the dead bury their dead. We're out of here!
