2009 Crop Circles

http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2009/roundway2/roundway2009b.html - there seems to be some asymmetry to this one (reported on the 10th) that makes it seem not quite 'right' ... but...

Maybe it was already posted elsewhere on the forum, but this seems to be one of the more interesting and 'neutral' documentaries about crop circles:

It's gorgeous - here are the two reported before that:

This is one that I can 'imagine' in 3d - without the help of software. Beautiful!

And it's only the end of May - I think it's going to be a 'stellar' season. :)

I'm very impressed by the English farmers :) One should interview the them and ask what kind of mathematics and tools they are using. I would also ask them how they can bend the stalks without breaking them, seems quite hard imho.

In this picture the stalks from a crop circle are not bent or broken, but accelerated growth on side of the point of contact, the node bends the stalk.

Cool. Looks like a representation of the three alchemical worlds to me, with three lower densities, three higher densities, and a crossroads. I really like the triple yin yangs, too!

There's a new crop circle out. I just got it via the temporarytemples.co.uk e-newsletter.

I can't find any pictures of it online yet. It's a bit reminiscent of a jelly fish or a blue bottle.

Here's the text that accompanies the photographs:

Hello again...

Today we bring you pictures of an absolutely stunning new circle reported today. Located at a place called Kingstone Coombes, it is close to Waylan's Smithy on the Wiltshire- Oxfordshire border, site of many formations over the past few years.

We began hearing ra umour this morning that there might be something there, and by mid-afternoon we decided it worth the risk to fly up there to see if we could find anything.

We did not expect this!

By our approximations it is 500-600ft in length and the jelly-fish-like design is one of the most breathtaking circles we have ever seen. Note the seven circles in the tail and the seven tentacles. Seven in a very prodigious and numinous number.

2009 is turning out to be an very special season...

I'm sure pics will start appearing online soon.

PS. I believe you call a blue bottle a Portuguese Man o' War.

I devised a little plan... :cool2:

Here goes:

Portuguese Man O'War in short is a colony of specialised polyps and medusoids which live beneath a gas-filled sac. (sounds like planet earth)

From http://www.earthhistory.org.uk/corals-and-jellies/siphonophores/

“….here the individual consists of many individuals that have merged their individuality into something greater……
At some point in the history of the Hydrozoa, and in what can only be conceived as a quantum jump, the genome ancestral to the siphonophores reconfigured itself to code for a structure that obliged individuals budding off from each other to transcend their individuality, and become so specialised (losing many functions in the process) that they could not survive except in cooperation. Each zooid – each polyp or medusa – had to depend on all the others for what it could not do itself……”

Could be representative of a group hive mind, indeed it could represent life itself since everything depends on everything else.

Do English Farmers like jelly fish…

The chakra system also comes to mind with the dome part over the crown chakra.

Amazing octopus UFO filmed by child in Brazil, video

This amazingly clear video of a shape-shifting UFO was sent in to us by a reader. Allegedly it was filmed in Rio in Brazil by a child but we cannot confirm this. It is certainly a cut above your average UFO video and no one can accuse it of being nothing more than a fuzzy blob of light. The object begins as a 'jellyfish' shaped craft and then transforms into an 'octopus' UFO (watch the whole video for the full effect).
