World on Fire? Protests everywhere... Celestial Intentions?

BREAKING: In Peru the people start to fight back against the Fed WEF globalist Coup d'état.

Peru is the world's 3rd largest producer of #silver.

Lima. The death toll from protests in Peru calling for the release of ousted President Pedro Castillo and early elections rose to 18, following a clash between the military and demonstrators, according to official information released on Friday.

On Thursday an attempt to take over the airport of Ayacucho (south) was contained by the army. "In Ayacucho we have eight dead in the day of demonstrations and clashes with the army," Ombudsman Eliana Revollar told AFP.

The Armed Forces intervene in the control of internal security after the declaration last Wednesday of a state of emergency to contain the demonstrations.

"There was an attempt to take over the airport, which was under army control. When they were surrounded and the mass was approaching, what (the reports) indicate is that they would have given the order to 'stop' (before firing), then shots in the air, but then shots to the body," he explained.

He detailed that the demonstrators were carrying slingshots and stones. "This merits a criminal investigation, these people have died from bullet impact", he considered.

The demonstrations erupted after Castillo, a leftist rural teacher of humble origins, attempted to stage a self-coup, shut down Parliament, intervene the public authorities and rule by decree.

He justified his decision on the grounds that the opposition did not allow him to carry out his work and that he was receiving racist treatment.

He did not find institutional support and his cabinet resigned in rejection of the attempt to break the democratic order.

Castillo was arrested in "flagrante delicto" when he was trying to reach the Mexican embassy for asylum. He will remain in prison to be investigated for rebellion until June 2024.

There is also a complaint against Castillo by the prosecutor's office for corruption.

The demonstrations demand Castillo's freedom, the resignation of his constitutional successor, former vice-president Dina Boluarte, the closing of the Parliament and general elections now.

Chinese and Local Workers Clash at Indonesia Nickel Smelter, Leaving Two Dead

A clash involving Chinese and Indonesian workers at a nickel smelter in Indonesia left two people dead and a part of the facility burned down, showing how tensions have accompanied the expansion of Chinese investment in operations to mine and process the lucrative metal in the Southeast Asian country.

The violence—which broke out Saturday at the facility of PT Gunbuster Nickel Industry, a subsidiary of China’s Jiangsu Delong Nickel Industry Co.—involved the use of pipes and rocks, a police spokesman said. As the confrontation spiraled, workers set fire to mess halls, dozens of rooms and heavy machinery, said the spokesman, Didik Supranoto.

Tensions at PT Gunbuster’s site, which is located in the nickel-rich region of Central Sulawesi, began to rise last month after a workplace accident resulted in two Indonesian workers being burned to death, according to the local government. A local labor union called a strike on Saturday over what it called unaddressed safety issues and unfair pay practices.

When some striking Indonesian workers entered the smelter, they were attacked by Chinese workers, said Minggu Bulu, an administrator at the union, who attended the strike. This ignited more intense violence later in the evening when Indonesian workers forced their way into the facility to settle scores, he said.

France: Farmers staging vehicle protest in Toulouse, Jan. 17

Unionized farmers are demonstrating in Toulouse Jan. 17 over various grievances, including the high cost of animal feed. Organizers estimate that over 100 slow-moving agricultural vehicles are converging on the city center and will block traffic. Participants will also demonstrate in front of the Cite Administrative building in the Compans-Caffarelli area of Toulouse.

Additional police will likely be deployed to monitor and facilitate the action. The protest itself and related security measures, such as road closures and movement restrictions, will likely result in localized transport disruptions in the city center. The action is likely to proceed peacefully. This action follows a similar event Jan. 6 in Toulouse. Further protests are likely.

Protests in southern Peru intensify after large mobilization in Lima

Protests and roadblocks by demonstrators demanding the resignation of Peru's president, Dina Boluarte, continue this Friday in most of the country's departments, especially in the south, where access by train to Machu Picchu was also blocked. The social outburst that began last December 7 after the failed self-coup of Pedro Castillo and his subsequent arrest has increased the pressure against the Government, but the President and her cabinet have opted to dig in. The hypothesis of exploring a dialogue between the authorities and the demonstrators is not yet on the table. On Thursday, Boluarte accused those who participated in the first march that sought to reach the center of Lima of trying to "generate chaos to seize power".

The violent clashes that took place in some neighborhoods in the capital continue this Friday in several provinces of the interior, from Arequipa to Puno. That is where the greatest police repression has taken place and where another young man died, the 55th since the crisis began. The police deployment of almost 12,000 troops prevented the civil organizations of the highlands that are the backbone of the protest from reaching the Congress and the Government Palace, but did not stop the wave of indignation that is sweeping the Andean country.

At this moment police fire tear gas canisters at demonstrators. Strong repression to citizens is reported in jiron Carabaya near Paseo de los Heroes.

from Puno they leave for Lima, they are seen off by crowds, they do not know if they will return, but they do know that they will fight for the future of all, they will fight against a de facto government that massacred 18 of their children? Long live Peru!

Police advance on demonstrators in another night of protests against President Boluarte in Lima, Peru. People are detained and the police are again firing tear gas.

This is how the night is lived in Lima, the police open fire, tear gas, Boluarte refuses to resign, the people resist, repression is unleashed in various parts of the city, the international community remains silent ... but we the people, we are with you ¡Fuerza Perú!

"Free the Leopards!": hundreds of protesters in Berlin demand that government send tanks to Ukraine

A protest against the reluctance of the Olaf Scholz administration to supply Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks is taking place in Berlin at the moment.

Source: European Pravda

Several thousand people have gathered outside the Bundestag building in Berlin. Both Ukrainians living in Berlin and Germans are protesting against the German government's delay in supplying Ukraine with Leopard tanks. The protesters are holding posters with the slogan "Free the Leopards!", demanding the supply of tanks to the Ukrainian army.

Background:

● Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki previously hinted that Warsaw may transfer a company of German-made tanks to Ukraine without Berlin's consent if its approval takes too long.

● German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said that western allies have not yet reached an agreement to provide Ukraine with Leopard 2 main battle tanks at the Ramstein format meeting, but he instructed his ministry to prepare for "the day that may come".

● Meanwhile, the German government insisted that the question of the supply of Leopard tanks to Ukraine has never been linked to the supply of Abrams tanks by the United States of America.

It got me wondering who has organised and mobilised these people. I mean, I’m guessing they’re mostly Ukrainians? There are plenty of English people in the UK who have Ukrainian flags on their houses, but I can’t imagine them marching through London protesting that our government needs to be sending more Challenger II tanks.

There’s not really any information to go off in the article itself. Only thing we can look into is the news organisation that published the story: European Pravda

On their website, there’s this:

This project is made possible with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation. The materials reflect the position of the media and don’t necessarily coincide with the position of the International Renaissance Foundation.

When you Google this organisation, they’re a Soros NGO promoting ‘Ukrainian Freedom’ in central and Eastern Europe:

No smoking gun, but worth bearing in mind, I suppose.

🇵🇹 #Portugal Thousands of people protested in the country over the housing crisis

Several thousand people took to protests in Lisbon and several other cities in Portugal to express dissatisfaction with the housing crisis. The cost of rent in 2022 increased by 37% — more than in Barcelona and Paris. In 2012, Lisbon was recognized as the most attractive city for "digital nomads". 😯

TG reminded me of that well know excerpt. It perfectly shows how the elites look at herd.

They are born, grow up in the dirt, start working at the age of twelve, experience a short period of physical flourishing and sexuality, get married at twenty, are no longer young at thirty, and usually die by sixty. Hard physical labor, taking care of the house and children, small quarrels with neighbors, movies, football, beer and, most importantly, gambling — that's all that fits into their horizons. Managing them is easy. Agents of the thought police always rotate among them — they identify and eliminate those who could become dangerous; but they do not seek to introduce them to party ideology. It is considered undesirable for Proles to have a great interest in politics. They need only primitive patriotism to appeal to him when it comes to lengthening the working day or reducing rations. And if discontent takes hold of them — this has also happened — this discontent leads to nothing, because due to the lack of general ideas, it is directed only against small concrete troubles.
