A fascinating documentary about Osho’s failed community in Oregon. I am still half way through it and haven’t made my mind if they were really evil or set up to fail. I’ve always had aversion for gurus of any kind but I could empathise with these people and terrible waste of energy and resources. It is certainly good run down of problems any emerging self sufficient community with “revolutionary ideas” would face.
Bit slow in the beginning but then it gets really interesting.
 
Well I knew nothing about Osho’s cult before I watched this but now it seems like text book example of New Age psyop non sense - still fascinating to watch.
 
Found the documentary pretty fascinating as well. I had no idea the background story was so bizarre and I grew up in Oregon. Before watching the documentary last year, I really only knew what I was told about Osho in passing-that he owned a commune here in the 80's and had 90+ Rolls Royces.
