What do the letters PSI stand for?

Gratitude for help offered :) I've looked in the glossary and I've seen the letters written, but can't find a definition.

In the sense that I think you mean, "psi" is a shortened form of "psychic".

Hi Jones,

To add on to what Shijing said there are other definitions depending on the context. So for example psi could also be "the 23rd letter of the Greek alphabet (Ψ, ψ)" or it could also be "pounds per square inch" and so on. The complete list is available here. :)

Thanks Shijing and Vulcan, sorry I didn't clarify, I was after the meaning of the letters that name this part of the forum. So I think it was Shijings answer that I was after :) had never seen 'psychic' shortented to 'psi'.

Phew, now that I take a closer look at that link Vulcan, it seems that there are many definitions that could be used in many areas of this forum
