Sister Moon

Sister moon will be my guide
In your blue blue shadows I would hide
All good people asleep tonight
I'm all by myself in your silver light
I would gaze at your face the whole night through
I'd go out of my mind, but for you
Lying in a mother's arms
The primal root of a woman's charms
I'm a stranger to the sun
My eyes are too weak
How cold is a heart
When it's warmth that he seeks?
You watch every night, you don't care what I do
I'd go out of my mind, but for you
I'd go out of my mind, but for you
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun
My hunger for her explains everything I've done
To howl at the moon the whole night through
And they really don't care if I do
I'd go out of my mind, but for you

Someone New
Eskobar, feat. Heather Nova
2006

"You gonna find someone new, I really hope you do, because I love you"
"Yes, we gave it a try - maybe for too long. Out of every sorrow - another day will dawn..."

Heather Nova has a beautiful voice with a touch of smoke yet light.
An excellent tune that made a connection with me yet I had forgotten it completely.
Thank You for bringing it back to me :bacon::dance:

Voices, a thousand, thousand voices
Whispering, the time has passed for choices
Golden days are passing over, yeah
I can't seem to see you baby
Although my eyes are open wide
But I know I'll see you once more
When I see you, I'll see you on the other side
Yes, I'll see you, I'll see you on the other side
Leaving, I hate to see you cry
Grieving, I hate to say good-bye
Dust and ash forever, yeah
Though I know we must be parted
As sure as stars are in the sky
I'm gonna see when it comes to glory
And I'll see you, I'll see you on the other side
Yes, I'll see you, I'll see you on the other side
Never thought I'd feel like this
Strange to be alone, yeah
But we'll be together
Carved in stone, carved in stone, carved in stone
Hold me, hold me tight I'm falling
Far away, distant voices calling
I'm so cold, I need you darling, yeah
I was down, but now I'm flying
Straight across the great divide
I know you're crying, but I'll stop you crying
When I see you, I see you on the other side
Yes, I'll see you, see you on the other side.
I'm gonna see you, see you on the other side
God knows I'll see you, see you on the other side, yeah
I'll see you, see you on the other side
I'm gonna see you, see you on the other side
God knows I'll see you, see you on the other side
I want to see you, yeah, yeah, yeah, see you on the other side
God knows I'll see you, see you on the other side
I'm gonna see you, see you on the other side

I'm listening to an audio version of the James Michener saga Alaska. I was really blowing through those romantic titles on my Audible account, which was getting expensive. I wanted to take a break and listen to something that would last longer. I'd enjoyed some of his other sagas long ago. Well, Alaska really puts one in a frame of mind for appreciating and dealing with hardships of very long, cold winters. I've often thought about the the bravery and hardships involved in ocean and continent crossings back in the day. Arctic journeys and survival puts these into a whole different category. Recommended. Timeline covers Pangea to Pipeline, more or less.

One Day
Bjork, 1993

It is the kind of melody with Bjork's unique music/song style, injecting hope... from somewhere deep within, bubbling to the surface. Like an airplane lifting. And you stare out though the window.... your heart filled with a presence... that of a child's magic.

Thanks, @XPan for the artist and song. I was amazed by the lyrics:

One day
It will happen
One day, one day
It will all come true

One day
When you're ready
One day, one day
When you're up to it

The atmosphere
Will get lighter
And two suns ready
To shine just for you

I can feel it
I can feel it

One day
It will happen
One day, one day
It will all make sense

One day
It will blossom

One day, one day
When you're ready

An aeroplane
Will curve gracefully
Around the volcano
With the eruption
That never lets you down

I can feel it
I can feel it

And the beautifulness
Fireworks will burn in
In the sky
Oh just for you

I can feel it

I can feel it

One day
One day
One day
One day

This was 1993 which was one year before the first sessions in 1994. Very strange in a way.

I almost think "I can feel it".

Reminds me of this session with may appeal to the musically inclined among us or anyone for that matter:

Session 31 October 2001:
Q: (L) Are the planets of the solar system going to kind of shift out of their orbits and run amok? Is that a possibility?
A: Yes.
Q: (A) Due to cometary orbits alone?
A: Yes. Twin sun also.
Q: (A) When we speak about these cometary bodies, are we speaking about impacts?
A: Some will hit.
Q: (A) What would be - if any - the role played by electric phenomena?
A: Twin sun grounds current flow through entire system setting the "motor" running.
Q: (L) Does this mean that all of the different bodies of the solar system are like parts of some kind of giant machine, and once this electric current flows through them, depending on their positions relative to one another at the time this current flows, that it has some influence on the way the machine runs?
A: Yes, more or less.

Maybe this will not be appreciated by the general forum but I think it may resonate with us more musical guys. How could a musician write such lyrics? I do not know but it caught my attention.
