If yes, was the machine like the one describe by JPP ?

The Russians had product an earthquake machine. It seem that the US buy it or reproduce it. Was it used and was it used several time ?

I searched on YouTube/Dailymotion but found no English video.

To avoid a misunderstanding, I just want to say that the video is not about HAARP but about a Magnetohydrodynamics machine using explosives.

I was wondering about this issue, and I asked "who benefits?", well, it is obvious to me that it serves well the US government to:

1. Maintain a closer grip on the region that is openly anti-american/imperialist by throwing in thousands of troops, with no plans to leave any time soon.

2. Helps the declining popularity of Obama (although the american right-wing was severely criticized for this line of thought, they do have a point).

The other question that arises my suspicion is that the american army has taken control of the airport and are slowing down the help, another katrina perhaps?
