Took a couple pictures of an unusual foot print made by what, i am not sure.
Looking for any examples that may have come close to what i had discovered (on google pics https://www.google.fr/search?q=mothman+prints&biw=1424&bih=888&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwic-J-JxLTMAhWJJsAKHeaPB3kQsAQIJw#tbm=isch&q=mothman+foot+prints) did not produce much with only a few examples.
The print was about the size of my closed fist. About 3 inches (wide) x 3 inches (in length), and extremely small compared with other examples of a similar nature. Like what ever it is was perhaps very young for such a small (sibling?) print.
I found them (about 6 or 7), after a light snow fall that day at about dusk. And the date was on 2-15-16 @ 19:03 at 48 sec.s. back in the forest on the fire trail.
I also could not discern its walking gate, because (as one can see in the second frame), local residents vehicles had erased any evidence, having been traveled on that day and or evening. So it was just a straight line of prints. One in front of the other.
Also with such a light dusting of snow it was not possible too determine its possible weight as a thicker snow base may have provided.
Maybe i should walk my neighbors bloodhound on the next jaunt????????????????
The website FRONTIERS OF ZOOLOGY had these examples that came close too a 3 toed clawed foot.

This is a diiagram showing how the usual carnivorous dinosaurs walked up on their toes but some of them could walk flat-footed. The flat-footed version is very close to the reported Reptoid tracks worldwide.
9" to 10" footprints with three claws. Note the apparent blood droplets at top left. Click images to see full size.
“I am not used to seeing the kind of tracks in my back yard like the samples I’m attaching here. Any ideas? Looks BIG. Gulp.”
