Trump Assassination of Iranian General Soleimani - IRGC Counterstrike

The body bags of dead US soldiers are starting to return home? This article recently appeared in our local paper. It only states that the 21 y/o male from Kalamzoo, Michigan died in the Middle East on January 8 and the governor ordered flags at half staff. No other details were available.

Since Iran's retaliation on US bases in Iraq occurred January 8 local time, it is plausible that he died in that missile attack.... Despite the announcement by the US that there were no casualties!

There have been reports of traumatic brain injury to U.S. servicemen.

U.S. says 50 troops now diagnosed with traumatic brain injury after Iran strike
Jan. 28, 2020 - The Pentagon said on Tuesday 50 U.S. service members were now diagnosed with traumatic brain injury after missile strikes by Iran on a base in Iraq earlier this month, 16 more than the military had previously announced.

A report claiming "up to 15" were on board the crashed plane.

Plane that crashed in Afghanistan might belong to US Air Force — TV
https://tass.com/emergencies/1113375

CAIRO, January 27, 2020 - A plane that crashed in Afghanistan on Monday might belong to the US Air Force, the TOLOnews TV channel reports.

The markings on the plane’s right engine bear resemblance to those belonging to the US Air Force, the channel informs, publishing alleged video footage from the crash site.

The plane went down on Monday morning in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province on the territory under the control of the Taliban radical movement (outlawed in Russia). A government source informed 1TVNews channel that it had been a military plane that might have been "used by the coalition contractors."

Earlier, eyewitnesses of the incident informed that local residents had pulled out a body of the pilot from the plane, who "was foreign." There may have been up to 15 people on board, according to some reports.

General Frank McKenzie, Commander of U.S. Central Command, reporting from Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, has identified two Air Force Officers killed in the crash but goes on to state: " U.S. troops did not meet any resistance going to the site" yet, there are several reports, the American's didn't reach the crash site until their third attempt. As stated in an earlier report, there could have been as many as 15 involved in the crashed plane? I have to assume - there is a major cover-up of the facts?

Pentagon Identifies 2 Air Force Airmen Killed in Afghanistan
Pentagon Identifies 2 Air Force Airmen Killed in Afghanistan | TOLOnews

The Pentagon on Wednesday released the names of two Air Force officers killed in the crash of their Bombardier E-11A electronic surveillance plane in Afghanistan.

They were identified as Lt. Col. Paul K. Voss, 46, of Yigo, Guam, and Capt. Ryan S. Phaneuf, 30, of Hudson, New Hampshire. Voss was assigned to Air Combat Command headquarters at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia. Phaneuf was assigned to the 37th Bomb Squadron at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota.

The cause of Monday's crash is under investigation, but officials have said there is no indication the plane was downed by hostile action.

“I’m pretty confident there was no enemy action involved. Aircraft mishaps happen," Gen. Frank McKenzie, commander of U.S. Central Command, told reporters Wednesday at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

The remains of the two airmen were recovered from the crash site in Ghazni province by American forces on Tuesday.

McKenzie said that as far as he knows, the U.S. troops did not meet any resistance going to the site.

“The main resistance was from the weather, which was really significant back there,” he said, adding that “appropriate precautions” were taken in moving the recovery team to the site "because the last thing you want to do is have another mishap or have other people lose their lives in attempt to get up there.”

A report that the plane was experiencing engine trouble before crashing and “Taliban have taken the bodies of dead passengers from the plane,” and some who have remained alive were “taken into Taliban custody.” “The latest information indicates that there were about seven to eight people on the plane and the Taliban seized three dead bodies.”

Speculation Continues About Ghazni Plane Crash
Speculation Continues About Ghazni Plane Crash | TOLOnews

28 JANUARY 2020 - An investigation is apparently underway by the US to determine what caused a US military aircraft to crash in Deh Yak district in the central province of Ghazni, south of Kabul, on Monday afternoon, with local reporting that the US military is monitoring the crash location from the air, deterring people on the ground from getting close to the site.

On Monday evening (Afghan time), US forces in Afghanistan confirmed that the plane belonged to the US, saying: “While the cause of crash is under investigation, there are no indications the crash was caused by enemy fire. We will provide additional information as it becomes available,” US Forces-Afghanistan spokesman Col. Sonny Leggett said.

But the former head of the National Directorate of Security (NDS), Rahmatullah Nabil, said that “no can deny the possibility that the aircraft had been hit by a missile.”

“Undoubtedly, in view of recent tensions between the US and Iran, Iran doesn’t have the capacity to counter the US directly, so we cannot reject the possibility that Iran provided anti-aircraft weapons to the Taliban,” said Nabil.

The crash happened in Taliban-controlled area.

On Tuesday the Taliban made several statements about the incident, but it is unclear whether or not they claim responsibility for the crash, based on the ambiguous language of those statements.

The AP reported that the Bombardier E-11A is a US Air Force electronic surveillance plane, which carries hi-tech equipment: "The so-called Battlefield Airborne Communications Node can be carried on unmanned or crewed aircraft like the E-11A. It is used by the military to extend the range of radio signals and can be used to convert the output of one device to another, such as connecting a radio to a telephone."

The AP said the US military uses the system as “Wi-Fi in the sky,” in areas where communications are otherwise difficult, elevating signals above obstacles like mountains."

“The higher this aircraft flies, the better it provides coverage--this aircraft flies very high, so I don’t think that this aircraft was shot down from the ground,” said Abdul Wahab Wardak, a former commander of the Afghan Air Force.

“Reports were received of engine failure from this plane,” said Ghulam Masoom Masoomi, head of Air Traffic at Hamid Karzai International Airport on Monday, before the US spokesman confirmed the plane belonged to the US military.

On the one hand, local officials said that the “Taliban have taken the bodies of dead passengers from the plane,” and some who have remained alive were “taken into Taliban custody.”

On the other hand, on Tuesday afternoon members of Ghazni’s provincial police told TOLOnews that US forces had taken the two dead bodies of the crushed plane from Ghazni on Tuesday.

“The latest information indicates that there were about seven to eight people on the plane--the Taliban seized three dead bodies,” said Abdul Jame Jame, a member of the Ghazni provincial council.

The US reportedly sent secret messages to Iran via Swiss intermediaries, urging not to retaliate too strongly and further provoke Trump

* The United States used Swiss intermediaries to urge Iran not to retaliate so strongly that it would provoke President Donald Trump, The New York Times reported Saturday.

* The Swiss embassy in Tehran has long been used by the US government as a backchannel to communicate with the Iranians,
according to The Wall Street Journal.

The Swiss Embassy is being used as a humanitarian channel, acknowledged by both the Swiss and U.S. government's, to bring food and medicine into Iran ... without interfering with or tripping U.S. Sanctions. Food and medicine should be exempt from any type of Sanctions?

I think, the use of "sanctions" by the U.S. Industrial Complex as an iron fist to control other Nations - has run it's course, when the U.S. Government, itself, has to work around it's own handiwork - just to delivery humanitarian aid? How STUPID is that?

U.S. says first shipments of medicine to Iran delivered via Swiss humanitarian channel
January 30, 2020 - A humanitarian channel to bring food and medicine to Iran has started trial operations, the Swiss and U.S. governments said on Thursday, helping supply Swiss goods to the struggling population without tripping over U.S. sanctions.

The Swiss Humanitarian Trade Arrangement (SHTA) seeks to ensure that Swiss-based exporters and trading companies in the food, pharmaceutical and medical sectors have a secure payment channel with a Swiss bank through which payments for their exports to Iran are guaranteed, a government statement said.

Three shipments of cancer and transplant drugs have been sent to Iran through this channel and the transaction has been processed, U.S. Special Representative Brian Hook told a press briefing.

U.S. renews waivers on Iran nuclear work, but sanctions top Iran nuclear official
The Trump administration on Thursday said it will allow Russian, Chinese and European companies to continue their work at Iranian nuclear sites, arguing that their presence makes it harder for Tehran to develop nuclear weapons.

Iran says new U.S. sanctions shows Washington's despair: Fars

Highly Specialized Air Force E-11A Communications Aircraft Crashes And Burns In Afghanistan (Updated)

Jan. 27, 2020 - The Air Force has a total of four E-11As, including the one that has now crashed. These planes are based on the Bombardier BD-700 Global Express business jet, which are forward-deployed in Afghanistan assigned to the 430th Expeditionary Electronic Combat Squadron at Kandahar Airfield.

These aircraft carry the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) payload, which allows them to act as highly specialized aerial communications nodes that can rapidly shift information to and from a wide variety of airborne platforms and forces on the ground. There are also three EQ-4B Global Hawk drones that carry the BACN package.

The small number of BACN platforms makes them the very definition of a high-value, but low-density asset. You can read more in detail about all of these manned and unmanned aircraft and their obscure, but critical missions in this past War Zone feature.

UPDATE: 11:35am EST

Fox News has now reported that there were five individuals on board the E-11A at the time of the incident, according to U.S. officials, but it remains unclear if there were any survivors. Those same officials have denied the Taliban's claims that the group shot down the plane.

UPDATE: 11:55am EST

General David Goldfein, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, has now publicly confirmed that the E-11A did crash in Afghanistan, but has not yet offered any details on the circumstances surrounding the event.

It is possible that the aircraft may have been attempting to make an emergency landing and it definitely skid across the ground before coming to its final resting point. While there is no evidence that the Taliban shot the aircraft down, it would have been exposed to attacks from that group after the crash.

Additional and graphic pictures reportedly from the crash site show what appears to be a badly burned body of one of the crew members. There are also pictures circulating online showing two bodies covered in blankets.

UPDATE: 1:05pm EST
U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) has now also confirmed the E-11A crash and denied that the Taliban shot it down. There are still no details on the cause of the mishap and the fate of all of the crew members.

UPDATE: 1:45pm EST

The Taliban claim that they have secured the crash site and are searching for two possible survivors of the crash. There have no further updates from the U.S. government about the incident or the status of the aircraft's crew.

Here is Abby interviewing Dan Kovalik with some historical background vis-à-vis the middle east game and recent developments: Coup's, policies, sanctions, Israel - generally the Pax Americana. Also, this provides some pictures of internal Iranian social values et cetera.

It's a review of Dan's book 'The Plot to Attack Iran'.

Dan brings up Sykes-Picot - which did not effect Iran's land base (still mostly the same over four thousand years) and Iran's rich history. Of course there is the British empire and things like their historical created famine in Iran and control of their oil, and oil is never far from the issues today. Israel is a different matter.

Dan asserts that (whether talking about Syria (which failed), Libya, Iraq and hopefully Iran for their neo-Hawk's game), the aim is chaos and wrecking countries rather than just control, however control is accomplished regardless. By completely ruining countries their agenda is met i.e., they are out of the game of oil and open to further expansions by the usual dreams of the expansionists. All this is a boon for weapons sales, whether arming the House of Saud to help build up head-choppers or destroying Yemen.

He calls Trump's mindset one of 'brinkmanship,' which is open to accidents that could backfire (he does not say false flags per se). He leaves some things out, yet provides his take on the matters of the day.

Qassem Soleimani, the Iranian military commander killed in a U.S. drone strike on Jan. 3 in Baghdad, had sought to bring stability to the Middle East, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Monday.

“Commander Soleimani was a man who was pursuing stability and calm in the region,” Rouhani said in a speech broadcast live on state television. “If commander Soleimani wanted to kill American generals it would have been very, very easy for him, in Afghanistan, Iraq and any other place. He never did that.”

The number of us military personnel shell-shocked by the Iranian strike rose to 109

01: 20 11.02.2020 (updated: 02:09 11.02.2020)
WASHINGTON, Feb 11-RIA Novosti. At least 109 us military personnel were concussed in an Iranian missile strike on a us base in Iraq, the Pentagon's press service told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
"This is 45 more people than in the last report," the military Department said.
According to the press service, 76 people have already returned to duty. A total of 27 people were sent to Germany for a more thorough examination, 21 of them were later transferred to the United States, five are still being evaluated by doctors, and one has already returned to Iraq to serve.
The US conducted an operation in Baghdad on January 3 to eliminate the Iranian General Qasem Suleimani. In response, Iran launched missile attacks on the Ein al-Assad base in Western Iraq, where the us military is stationed. Initially, us President Donald trump and the Pentagon leadership said that there were no casualties in the attack. The head of state put special emphasis on this when explaining his decision not to strike back at Iran and limit himself to new sanctions.
Then the US military acknowledged that there were victims. At the same time, their number was constantly increasing. The Pentagon explained this by saying that the symptoms of concussion may not appear immediately and the initial assessment of the military's condition may differ from the final diagnosis.

As usual, the main thing is to loudly state what you need - and what there really are few people who care (of those who loudly declare)

Just ran across this piece of information that I felt was interesting to consider:

Iraq’s Hezbollah accuses high-ranking officials of working with US to assassinate Qassem Soleimani:

Kata’ib Hezbollah in Iraq hinted at the involvement of high-ranking officials in the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force, Major-General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, on January 3rd.

In a statement, Kata’ib Hezbollah accused “one of the ministers in Iraq with the intelligence chief of assisting in the killing of Soleimani and Al-Mohandis,” and expressed its readiness to provide evidence to the former prime minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, exclusively.

They said in statement posted on her official website, “If there is any doubt that Al-Kazemi (intelligence chief) was involved in the killing of the leaders,” adding that “this historical crime was done with the knowledge one of the three ministers that facilitated this cowardly act. ”

They continued: “We are ready to provide the information we have on this matter, exclusively, to Mr. Adel Abdul Mahdi.”

The U.S. announced the killing of the commander of the Quds Force on January 3 in a drone attack, while Iran described the attack as “state terrorism” and vowed revenge.

On January 8, Iran launched a missile attack on two military bases in Iraq, including the Ain al-Assad base, which houses about 1,500 US soldiers.

"Not controlled by dispatchers and moving strangely": Iran will not arrest the military who fired a missile at a Ukrainian airliner (VIDEO)

06.04.2020 - 20:10
Iran does not intend to arrest those involved in the destruction of the Ukrainian plane on January 8, said Hassan Norouzi, a member of the Commission on legislation and justice of the Iranian Parliament.

"The military forces performed their duties well. The movement of the plane was very suspicious, " the MP explained the position of the authorities.

According to Norouzi, the plane "was not under the control of the control tower, but was under the control of America."

"The plane was in Israel a week before the attacks, and there "its security system was hacked and intercepted, "" the MP claims.

"Given that the plane was controlled by other countries, our military did a good job, "he said, adding that" given this evidence, it would be pointless to arrest those involved."

A criminal case has been filed against Iranian lawmaker Hassan Norouzi for saying no arrests have been made in relation to Iran’s downing of a Ukrainian civilian airliner in January, according to the head of the judicial organization of the armed forces. ....

The website of the judicial organization of the Iranian armed forces refuted Norouzi’s remarks within hours, saying several people have been arrested in connection with the case.

A criminal case has been filed against Norouzi for “spreading lies” and “causing public concern,” the head of the judicial organization of the armed forces Shokrollah Bahrami said on Monday.

“Norouzi’s statement was his personal interpretation, which he issued without knowing the scope of the case. Such statements, in addition to disrupting judicial investigations, cause public concern,” Bahrami said.

One person is currently being held in custody in connection with the case, and several others have been summoned, according to Bahrami.

Nothing about the other claims made by Norouzi. Stirring in the pot?

Well, let's not get carried away! I'm just looking at any given situation with a very cynical eye and not believing any of the rhetoric and hubris and considering what all these people actually want: control over their own populations and political survival and enrichment for themselves. In that sense, ALL of this is a distraction, as the Cs have repeatedly said, from something 'wicked' coming this way. Oh well, those who see will, those who don't...won't.

Yeah, this is perhaps the most interesting aspect of last night's activities. At this point, it is highly likely the plane was brought down by sabotage of some sort. From a Telegraph article on the topic.

Which is true. So we're just left with how it was done. A missile is unlikely, I think, but a bomb certainly could have done it, or even something more 'exotic'. The plane came from Toronto with a lay over in Ukraine.

Bingo!

The transcript from the black boxes from a Ukrainian jet accidentally shot down by Iran on January 8 confirms the fact of illegal interference with the plane, according to Ukraine's deputy foreign minister.

Vigilance.

Washington is set to pull diplomatic staff from its embassy in Baghdad in an effort to “minimize risk” as the one-year anniversary of the US kill strike on Iranian General Qassem Soleimani approaches, according to several reports.

The drawdown comes amid heightened security concerns in Iraq, namely fears of upcoming attacks from militant groups looking to avenge Soleimani’s assassination last year, AFP, CNN and the Washington Post reported independently on Wednesday, citing American and Iraqi officials familiar with the move.

The officials offered few details about the partial withdrawal, saying only that it would be “slight” and “temporary,” with one indicating staff would return only after the January 3 anniversary of the Soleimani killing. Of the hundreds of diplomatic staff members stationed at the embassy, it is unclear how many will leave for the rollback.

“It's a minor drawdown based on security reservations from the US side. They could come back – it's just a security blip,” a senior Iraqi official told AFP on condition of anonymity, adding that the move did not signal any blow to the relationship between Baghdad and Washington.

The State Department declined to confirm the reported “de-risking” operation, instead stating that it “continually adjusts its diplomatic presence at embassies and consulates throughout the world in line with its mission, the local security environment, the health situation, and even the holidays.” However, a spokesperson added that Ambassador Matthew Tueller remains in the country, and that the embassy would continue to operate.

US President Donald Trump has overseen a dramatic spike in hostilities with Iran since he took office in 2017, keeping up a steady stream of sanctions and warlike rhetoric which culminated in the Soleimani assassination last year. Regional tensions spiked again on Friday after the murder of a prominent Iranian nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was targeted in an ambush by unknown assailants. While Tehran has yet to formally pin blame on any foreign actor, Iranian officials have suggested American and Israeli involvement in the attack.

In retaliation for the US drone strike that killed Soleimani – a beloved figure in Iran who led the country’s elite Quds Force – Tehran launched a barrage of rockets at two bases housing US troops in Iraq, reportedly inflicting brain injuries on dozens of soldiers. In the time since, Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have vowed further revenge, while the US military has repeatedly warned that Iraqi militias supported by Iran could carry out reprisals.

Washington threatened to pack up and close the Baghdad embassy following a string of rocket attacks near the mission earlier this year, blaming the blasts on Iran-aligned militia group Kataib Hezbollah, whose commander was killed alongside Soleimani in the January 3 drone strike. Though the diplomatic pull-out never materialized, the Trump administration has continued to pressure the Iraqi government to rein in the militia groups since.
