I used the search engine and didn't find any mention of this movie : The Wall, that certainly deserves a dedicated thread.
I first watched it when I was about 13. It was in english so I understood nothing but it had such a strong impact. So right after watching the movie, I rushed to a music shop and bought my first ever CD : The Wall by Pink Floyd.
Tonight I just watched this movie again and I noticed a lot of references to what we are learning here :
* impact of childhood experiences on adult behaviour
* dissociation
* critics of totalitarian regimes
* ponerized dimension of militaries and education system
* orgasms feeding the flyers
* hypnotic properties of TV
* ...
The wall that psychopaths build around "normal" people, the wall that our personality/programs build around our essence.
In addition all along the movie you can listen to the wonderful music of "one the facets of our higher consciousness" : Pink Floyd.
