Then also the lowest covid death rate, that’s one they won’t let us forget.
Don’t know with all this ‘Winning’ whether to laugh or cry.
Given it’s a choice, I’ll laugh, what the heck...
I’m posting this here and not the vaccine thread. The NZ government is still hard out pushing booster shots in people. The advertising is targeting the next age group is 16-17 year olds. The advertisement claims “a booster shot is the best way to prevent yourself from getting very sick from covid”. I have heard the uptake is “disappointing”.
However many people in professions have been mandated to get boosters and lots of people have been scared into getting boosters. The data is a tragic story.
NZ data on overall mortality is very important because vaccine roll out preceded covid outbreaks by several months. 2000 extra deaths are temporally associated to vaccine roll out. That’s going up again with boosters. Emergency services are being over run and not keeping up. Our local hospital is really busy after having been so quiet.
Still no one wants to talk about it, apart from those already in the know.

The general feel I get from talking to people is that they are over it. I do personal help sessions for older people, to help them with their technology - PC, phone, tablet etc = and on almost all occasions I go to their homes to do it. Not one person has required I wear a mask and most are relieved I don't want them to wear one. More and more retail businesses don't care about masks either. I wander around the supermarket now unmasked and nobody says a thing. We visited a kitchen showroom this week and the staff weren't masked. it is quite liberating. Many people who are still masked wear it with their nose hanging out so go figure.
The major vaccine centres were the pharmacies. Both local pharmacies are very quiet, no queues. Daily takeup of boosters across the country apparently is in the tens, not hundreds or thousands. I saw a quote suggesting that over a million people eligible for a booster have not taken up the offer, almost a third of all eligible people. So they are trying to ramp the fear porn again. The TV adverts Gottathink mentioned continue, along with constant news articles telling us breathlessly how hospitals are going to be overwhelmed as it is winter and there are going to be - gasp - cases of flu as well as Covid so best you rush in and get both your booster AND your flu shot. It is obvious from social media that some people are still in a government propaganda induced trance and swear alliegnace to the vaccine sacrament, but the group does seem to be smaller. Not surprisingly it is this same group who unswervingly support Ukraine against the evil Russian invasion.
I actually think where I live in Rotorua, the population is much more fearful and I suspect the booster uptake has been higher than around the country. People are still wearing masks a lot, in malls and supermarkets. Cafe staff are still wearing them. It’s interesting as when I head out of town to the beach it is way more relaxed and like you describe. But here in Rotorua I know a lot of people have had boosters and the injuries are rampant it’s crazy what I’m hearing. One GP (not on the covid band wagon) from a neighbouring town, just told me about a patient they just lost who had the entire length of the artery from the heart down the left leg, dissect. The whole thing, it’s the strangest thing. Another local young women 33 years old, developed a very rare and aggressive cervical cancer. She had an emergency hysterectomy, they thought with a bit of chemo she would be okay. But now it’s regrown and now is into her bowel. She has been given a few months to live. Then there are strokes, the high incidence of endometriol bleeding reported to me by a client who is a women’s health GP. The high incidence she thinks is likely caused by the vaccine. The sudden deaths of myocarditis in older people previously thought to be healthy, it just goes on as each week goes by. General fatigue, newly diagnosed heart conditions, unusual pneumonia’s, brain fog etc etc that I keep hearing people reporting. I’m just astounded at the extent of how many people are so severely affected. it’s surreal. I do suspect that we could have a cluster of the population where I live that are boosted and this is why all these things are so dramatic all of a sudden.

After me and my son had adverse reactions to the first shots mid last year, I am refusing to have any more of that stuff injected into me. I spent 4 hours in a car trip with my wife coming back from Rotorua who had symptoms and theoretically I should have contracted covid, but I didn't.
I'm starting to think the shots actually make you more likely to contract it, rather than the opposite

That's interesting. This graph shows that one dose is better than either no vax, or more that one vax. I think from the same page on stuff you quoted gottathink.

The fact that official sources dissect this type of information and consider it evidence fur vaccines working is stupid. These numbers are not controlled for anything, such as many unvaxxed people could not tolerate vaccination, the people that the vaccination actually killed drop off the radar, the time point of which age group have received only one dose as the vaccine was rolled out by age group priority. Not to mention what the percentage of the poppy that is vaccinated and how long ago. All these factors are constantly in flux so the numbers mean squat. It’s so stupid, what it gives us an over view of is that it appears vaccines don’t protect you and that’s about it. But yes people still think these figures are evidence.
That’s why the all cause mortality numbers is actually the only stat that really tells us anything. And an increase in deaths in fact 2000 more for the same time period average is telling.
It’s more likely that there are so few people who have had only one dose and that’s why the numbers are low.

Exactly. The numbers could easily be fudged to make it look how they want.
Tokelau are a small pacific island governed by NZ. The people of Tokelau are NZ citizens. There is also no covid at all in the island. The people who have refused vaccination have been under house arrest for the past year, held against their will in their own homes. Just recently they are allowed out to go fishing. Up until two months ago the administrator of Tokelau was Jacinda Ardern’s father.

Yeah It certainly is. I would feel the ultimate embarrassment to have a book written about me, let alone one basically stating how wonderful and great I was and how magical my rise to power and leadership had been.
What's the point ?
When you are clearly a narcissist, that is the point entirely.
