One is a moving 1952 film about the devastation felt by the Japanese people, the long-term (health) consequences of the bomb and how the main character moves on after all these horrors by adopting an orphan who lost his parents during the American attack, while the grand-father of the boy who turned blind after the bomb succumbs to his despair (with English subtitles):
