Swarming bees

We had hundreds of bees swarming in our yard today Apr 7 (a first for me) and I was very happy to see them after all stories of colony collapse.
What a beautiful sight. It reminded me of the cass forum and the hive of colinear minds that is being built here.

Buzz, buzz, buzz.

Hopefully they aren't africanized bees, lol. I've heard that they have been spreading into the southern USA and physically look like the european honey bees.
