sea creature-killer?

Narco

The Force is Strong With This One
I wasn't sure where this video should go, but when i read the description of the video. I thought it had to be something related to some kind of a 'sea monster' or anything with an unknown identity. So it would be cryptozoology...

I don't see any monster, too

I think Narco refers to what is written in the video description:
"Since 1968, more than 100 divers lost their lives at this mysterious place"

And he thinks that somekind of monster is liable for this ?!

When diving, you never leave your buddy behind, this may have save is life. What I really find bizarre is the speed he descant, 30 meter per minute, which event for a instructor is very fast and second unless this was suicide, which I doubt, he seem to call for help but, do not take is weight bell off which would have propelled him to the surface unless there are strong current where he is diving.? Was something pulling him down? He reach 100 meter which is way beyond the safety limit for compressed air, at this dept you need special air mixture. The video leave a lot of unanswered question, some data are missing and the persons watching it do not ask the right question I think.

I never saw any creature, but it was freaky how he kept going down then started spinning around in the sand at the bottom. I wonder if something such as a heart attack or stroke early in his descent could have caused his behavior.

the interesting thing is:
this guy was diving ultra fast, while screaming for some unknown reason... we didn't see a monster on the clip but considering the speed I think the person was dragged down there from something...
And there is something else, the description of the video:

Video taped by Yuri Lipski who died in a diving accident in the "Blue Hole", Dahab, Egypt at 28.4.2000.
The video shows rare footage taken by Yuri's camera, analyzed by specialists.

Since 1968, more than 100 divers lost their lives at this mysterious place.

this doesn't prove the existence of a monster of course but the fact that there is some kind of mystery there.

Here's some more information about the Blue Hole.

The theory on wikipedia for Yuri Lipski's death is Narcosis.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrogen_narcosis said:
Narcosis while diving (also known as nitrogen narcosis, inert gas narcosis, raptures of the deep, Martini effect), is a reversible alteration in consciousness that occurs while scuba diving at depth. The Greek word ναρκωσις (narcosis) is derived from narke, "temporary decline or loss of senses and movement, numbness", a term used by Homer and Hippocrates.[2] Narcosis produces a state similar to alcohol intoxication or nitrous oxide inhalation, and can occur during shallow dives, but usually does not become noticeable until greater depths, beyond 30 meters (100 ft).

..Due to its perception-altering effects, the onset of narcosis may be hard to recognize.[6][7] At its most benign, narcosis results in relief of anxiety and a feeling of tranquility and mastery of the environment. These effects are essentially identical to various concentrations of nitrous oxide. They also resemble (though not as closely) the effects of alcohol and the familiar benzodiazepine drugs such as diazepam and alprazolam.[8] Such effects are not harmful unless they cause some immediate danger not to be recognized and addressed. Once stabilized, the effects generally remain the same at a given depth, only worsening if the diver ventures deeper.

..The cause of narcosis is related to the increased solubility of gases in body tissues, as a result of the elevated pressures at depth (Henry's law).[12] Modern theories have suggested that inert gases dissolving in the lipid bilayer of cell membranes cause narcosis.[13] More recently, researchers have been looking at neurotransmitter receptor protein mechanisms as a possible cause of the narcosis.[14] The breathing gas mix entering the diver's lungs will have the same pressure as the surrounding water, known as the ambient pressure. For any given depth, the pressure of gases in the blood passing through the brain catches up with ambient pressure within a minute or two and this produces a delay in narcotic effect after coming to a new depth.

What's really odd is that according to Wikipedia, the Egyptian Gov't is trying to keep a lid on how many divers die at the site. But the site itself is supposed to be quite dangerous, even for experienced divers. So I'm not so sure about a sea-monster or anything like that.

OMG! I feel so sad for that person. i cant stand the view of watching the video knowing that the person who gave that is already doomed. Its so sad........and oh yes, somebody please get the camera.
