Today's techie tip: Always double-check that you type URLs correctly!

I watched a video or two and you have great delivery Scottie! The blogs are easy to understand, entertaining and many of the topics they cover are of interest even for non-techies; i've been sharing them. Nice work!

Watched your vid a few days ago on LED flashlights. Those things can get expensive, who knew? Also reminds me a little of tool time with your light cannon. Tim Allen comes up with that turbo blender that can grind up concrete powered by a lawn mower engine or something! lol

Yeah, as a techie myself, I've enjoyed your articles over the years (has it been that long?). The site is well made and you write well too. Thanks for the blog!

Your tech tips have helped me out a lot in the past - and will in the future as well, I'm sure! Thank you, Scottie! :flowers: :perfect:

Hi Scottie,

Recently I stumbled upon your article about li-ion batteries.
Thank you for sharing your blog URL.

Ya know, I don't think I ever posted a link to my blog here that I started way back in 2009 - I guess because it isn't directly related to all things Cass/SOTT.

I do have a Latest World News section in my sidebar that links to SOTT articles. I also recently learned that one of my "biggest fans" found SOTT via my blog, so... what the heck! :halo:

So, for techie tips of various sorts:
https://scottiestech.info

I also recently started a YouTube channel to go along with my site:

Thank you, Scottie! It's very interesting and helpful, looking forward to learn more.

I started use keepass thanks to your's one blog post and benefit from other tips&tricks at the few occasions. You are doing good job by showing technical issues in easy and fun way, that even without being interested in some subject, posts attract attention and are cool to read.

Thanks for the thread Scottie, good info for Windows users! I, however, am an IOS (Apple) user, do you have any tips on tech for IOS? Just inquiring, not dissing Windows!

Ah thanks! I usually copy paste them, and did not noticed the duplicity of the http, at home computer does not "appear" and I only realized today after seeing my own post ... good reminder!

Same here Scottie, it tells me the site cannot be reached because "https’s server DNS address could not be found" :(

I'm sure I've seen it before and the site was working OK, I read your article on there about making a wooden box with aluminium foil inside to store a cell phone in it :)

There's a forward slash missing in Scottie's link. This should work: https://scottiestech.info

Great site Scottie, and I love your videos! Well-done!

I did not noticed that detail either! thanks!
