Putin: Risk Of Nuclear War "Rising", Ukraine Operation To Be "Long Process"

"On Wednesday Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a wide-ranging public war update during a televised session of his Human Rights Council, which at least one independent regional outlet said was tightly controlled in terms of the kind of questions Kremlin officials could ask."

"On the latter point, Putin lashed out at the United States and NATO, saying "Russia does not have tactical nuclear weapons in other countries, unlike the US."

According to a translation of Putin's remarks in Sky News:

"We didn't speak about usage of nuclear weapons." Then, he said: "Russia has not gone mad."
"We have the most advanced weapons, but we do not want to wave it around."

As Harvard University’s Ed Glaeser points out, less advantaged groups are hardly able to live their life in their own disadvantaged neighbourhoods, which lack jobs, grocery stores and amenities found in more upscale communities.
The wef-15 minute city is just one of many things taken away, repackaged, and given back to us wrapped with desires for more control of individual lives, by those who manage society from lofty positions.

When I was growing up, in the US, towns and inner city neighborhoods offered this way of living. You walked to work, shops, post offices, banks, schools, churches, butchers, deli, produce, shoe repair, tailors, etc were all available within one's neighborhood. Introduction of the car was one way self sufficient towns/neighborhoods began to decay...Now, you just about need a car to survive in the US; bus services are null or very lacking...another cutback over the years. Interesting how they attempt to sell the idea as new.

You remind me of the town I grew up in. Everyone was cordial with one another and everything you needed was within walking distance. Now, if you want to walk somewhere, you have to hope that what you want is in one of the few shops that are near and that you won't run into more than one or two homeless people wanting 'a dollar' or someone wanting to rob you in order to get more meth or whatever. People barely speak to one another in stores or...well...anywhere. TPB try to change and control every aspect in our lives - and the majority of people just follow along like good little lemmings - right off a cliff. This concept (which makes me then think of the Arabian plan to have that long, enclosed city in the desert to corral the populace) would be a nice idea if it was meant to make our lives better and easier, but that's not what they are doing it for. It's control, just as you say. Put everyone in compact areas like sheep in a pen.

Biden's economic policies threaten a rift with Europe.

It should be noted that Europe can no longer win back the gas.,It has lost the energy war. The freebies in the form of cheap Russian gas, which served as the engine of the EU economy, are over. But the Europeans did it themselves under pressure from the United States.

The collective West is not homogeneous. It is grouped around an Anglo-Saxon nucleus represented by the US, Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. There are two notional belts around the core. The first has the EU, Japan, and South Korea. In the second, everyone else

It is a world of predators. The interests of the core always prevail. Therefore, the countries in the first and second belts serve as food for the Anglo-Saxons when resources are scarce.

That is what we are seeing in this case: an overflow of industrial companies from Europe to the jurisdiction of the United States. They are more needed there. And the Europeans will be outraged and eventually come to terms with their second-rate role.

lack of consistency over the investigation of war crimes by different states.

"TD Richard Boyd Barrett adresses the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, over what he perceives as a lack of consistency over the investigation of war crimes by different states."

Pretty good dressing down by the Irish statesman. And Ursula's reaction...? Indifference.

Any text from rumble, can you please include all of it since it is blocked in France?

They are still broadcasting most of their stuff on youtube aswell.

Wow, I had no idea Rumble was blocked in France! Thanks birk for posting Redacted on Youtube, I was going to do that but you beat me to it.

Major cyber attack on Russian banks was covered in the Russian/redacted video as well. That channel is a bit chatty at times so may be a bit annoying if your anxious to get to the point. Since I've been watching for awhile now I'm somewhat used to that.

Merkel reveals purpose of Ukraine ceasefire

Minsk agreements gave Ukraine “valuable time” to “get stronger”, said former German chancellor

The 2014 ceasefire brokered by Berlin and Paris in Minsk was an attempt to give Kiev time to strengthen its military and was successful in that regard, former German chancellor Angela Merkel argued in an interview published on Wednesday.
In an extensive interview about her 16 years in power, Merkel told the Zeit magazine her policy towards Russia and Ukraine was correct, even if not successful.
“I thought the initiation of NATO accession for Ukraine and Georgia discussed in 2008 to be wrong,” Merkel said. “The countries neither had the necessary prerequisites for this, nor had the consequences of such a decision been fully considered, both with regard to Russia's actions against Georgia and Ukraine and to NATO and its rules of assistance.”
She described the September 2014 Minsk agreement as “an attempt to give Ukraine time.” France and Germany had brokered a ceasefire after the failure of Ukraine’s attempt to subdue the republics of Donetsk and Lugansk by force.
“[Ukraine] used this time to get stronger, as you can see today,” Merkel continued. “The Ukraine of 2014/15 is not the Ukraine of today. As you saw in the battle for Debaltsevo in early 2015, [Russian President Vladimir] Putin could easily have overrun them at the time. And I very much doubt that the NATO countries could have done as much then as they do now to help Ukraine.”

The defeat at Debaltsevo resulted in the second Minsk protocol being signed in February 2015. Merkel said that it was “clear to all of us that the conflict was frozen, that the problem had not been solved, but that gave Ukraine valuable time.”
Meanwhile, she defended the decision to build the Nord Stream 2 pipeline for Russian gas, since refusing to do so would have “have dangerously worsened the climate” with Moscow given the situation in Ukraine. It just so happened that Germany couldn’t get gas elsewhere, she added.
Asked for any self-criticism, Merkel told Zeit that “the Cold War never really ended because Russia was basically not at peace,” and that NATO “should have reacted more quickly to Russia's aggressiveness” in 2014.

Pyotr Poroshenko, who became president of Ukraine after the 2014 US-backed coup in Kiev, told the domestic audience in August 2015 that Minsk was a ruse to buy time for a military build-up. He admitted as much to the West in July 2022, in an interview with German media.
Russia sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, citing Kiev’s failure to implement the Minsk agreements, designed to give the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk special status within the Ukrainian state. The Kremlin recognized the Donbass republics as independent states, which have since voted to join Russia alongside with most of the regions of Kherson and Zaporozhye, and demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join any Western military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked.

President Putin held a meeting of the HRC (Human Rights Council) on December 7 via videoconference. The topic of the Special Military Operation was touched upon.

On the need for additional mobilization

◾️ Of the 300 thousand mobilized in the special military operation zone (ТАСС), 150 thousand are (ТАСС), and only half of them are in combat units, the rest remain "on the second, third lines" or pass additional training.

◾️Therefore, "talks about some additional mobilization measures simply do not make sense": "Today there is no need for the state and the Ministry of Defense."

On the growing threat of nuclear war

◾️The danger of nuclear war is growing, "to be honest," but Russia "is not going to brandish nuclear weapons like a razor" and considers them as a protective (ТАСС) means and deterrent: "We We have not gone crazy, we are aware of what nuclear weapons are."

On the significant results of the military operation

◾️A special military operation is a "long process", but it has already brought (ТАСС) "significant results": "New territories have appeared. <...> To be honest, the Sea of Azov became the inland sea of the Russian Federation, these are serious things."

About the future of Ukraine

◾️The war in Ukraine was started by those who came (ТАСС) to power in this country after the coup in 2014. All these years, the West ignored the legitimate interests of the inhabitants of Donbass and the legitimate desire of Russia to protect them.

◾️Polish nationalists "sleep and see" how to take the western regions of Ukraine, "and they will work towards this." The only real guarantor of the territorial integrity of Ukraine can only be Russia.

On the investigation of crimes in Kyiv

◾️In Russia, "some kind of general body" and a state commission may appear, which will be engaged in fixing and investigating the crimes of the Ukrainian authorities, "especially attacks on civilian and residential areas." Veterans of law enforcement agencies can help with this "either as mentors, or as people who summarize the available materials."

About the absence of the problem of deserters

◾️In the zone of military operations, there is no such problem as the massive abandonment of their positions by Russian troops: "Yes, this happened. Now it's less and less." And the vast majority of those who succumbed to panic voluntarily return back.

On the restoration of Donbass

◾️A separate program for the restoration of housing in the Donbass will be adopted. Works in Mariupol, where Russian builders are already working (ТАСС), "are proceeding at a rapid pace."

And more in the link ТАСС
