Russian Msta-S on the outskirts of Severodonetsk
While the advance of Russian-led forces was almost stuk on different front lines in the Donbass, the main hotspot of the Ukrainian war is the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk metropolitan area.
In the city of Severodonetsk, Russian-led forces are advancing from the northern and eastern directions. The battles for the city are conducted by the 2nd and 7th brigades of the LPR People’s Militia with attached units, together with units of mobilized Lugansk servicemen and Chechen units of the Russian Guards, as well as, reportedly, with units of the 2nd Army Corps of the LPR People’s Militia.
In late May, after several days of street clashes, the main part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) crossed the Seversky Donets River and retreated to the fortified positions in the city of Lisichansk and in the Azot chemical plant on the western outskirts of Severodonetsk.
The only bridge between the two areas has not been destroyed do far but it is shelled by Russian artillery.

The mop up operation on the streets in Severodonetsk could not be finished until the AFU units deployed in the metropolitan area are surrounded. The Russian advance was stopped by the river and Ukrainian artillery fire from the hills in Lisichansk.
After days of battles in Severodonetsk, the AFU sent reinforcement to the area and attempted to counter attack. All the main forces of the AFU in the Donbass, including the notorious Foreign Legion, are now pulled into the area of Severodonetsk-Lisichansk.
As a result of counterattacks from the Azot plant, Ukrainian units managed to move the fighting back to the urban areas.
According to various reports, the AFU managed to repel Russian forces from several western districts in Severodonetsk. The main front line reportedly lays along the Bogdana Lishina and Gvardeisky Avenues in the center of the city.

However, any reports from the center of Severodonetsk are yet to be confirmed by footage from the spot.
In turn, Russian military reporters are still working in the eastern and northern parts of the city, confirming that these areas are secured by Russian-led forces.

Meanwhile, the Russian military command is attempting to encircle of the AFU units which are almost in a trap in the area of Zolotoe located south of Lisichansk. For their part, the AFU fight for every meter and do not leave their positions. Kamyshevakha is already under control of Russian-led forces. Battle for Vrubovka continues.

The battle for Severodonetsk-Lisichansk metropolitan area is a decisive fighting of the war in Ukraine.
The AFU command has already lost chance of organized withdrawal of its group from the area of Severodonetsk-Lisichansk-Zolotoye without defeating the retreating units and very large losses in equipment and people. In turn, the Russian military cannot retreat without suffering heavy military and political losses.
If the Russian troops manage to encircle the entire Severodonetsk-Lisichansk region, then most of the AFU formations will fall into the trap and will be defeated. If not, the Ukrainian command will be able to link Russian troops with battles in urban areas for a longer period. At the same time, the flow of foreign weapons to Eastern Ukraine will continue, and both sides will suffer heavy losses. Not to mention the destruction of the city.
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to repeat the strategy used in the city of Mariupol. At the same time, the advancing Russian forces have already endured the experience of fighting against the Ukrainian army in the urban environment after the battle for Mariupol. Changes in Russian tactics are visible, Russian troops are trying to move as a united front, leaving no chances for enemy attacks from the flanks.

I didn't know or expected general in any armiies to fly combat mission. Russian general do.

On June 2, it was reported that the hero of Russia, retired Major General of the Russian Air Force, 63-year-old Kanamat Botashev, died during military operations in the sky over the Luhansk People’s Republic.
According to Russian military reporters, Botashev rescued a blocked assault group of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine. From an extremely low altitude, the Major General struck the AFU and allowed the surrounded group to escape from the fire trap. During the attack, his aircraft was shot down by an anti-aircraft missile.
Vladimir Putin posthumously awarded him the title of Hero of Russia.
So far, deaths of 5 Russian generals have been reportedly confirmed.
The fact that Russian generals are dying on the front lines confirms that they are standing alongside their servicemen on the battlefield. Their braveness is confirmed by their military feats. In contrast to their enemy, as almost all Ukrainian prisoners of war and servicemen on the front lines pledge that they were left by their military command.
At the same time, the high-ranked losses of the Russian military may be a sign of the lack in manpower of Russian forces deployed in Ukraine. The Russian grouping in Ukraine was not significantly reinforced since the very beginning of the operation.

Some time ago SOTTREADER asked why most Russian soldiers were "easily" captured by the Ukrainian army, at least at the beginning of the conflict.
There is certainly a heroic factor, inherited from the great patriotic wars against Hitler and before that against Napoleon, which kept in mind the acts of bravery and recklessness of these soldiers of yesteryear.

According to what I have heard from Putin and Lavrov's statements, the denazification of Ukraine would be at a certain level similar to a deponerisation of the minds and hearts of a certain fringe of the population, even of the younger indoctrinated generation.
This requires an advanced knowledge of psychopathology à la Lobaczewski.
And at the same time, on a global level, to move from a perverse hegemony to a less unipolar, multipolar world, for those who are able to see and feel it, and in so doing, send a signal to the Universe.

In military strategy, Sun Tzu and Carl Von Clausewitz are often contrasted, the former known for his Bingfa, The Art of War, and the latter for his Vom Kriege, On War.
I think that Putin and his team have taken the best of these two famous strategists.
For example, the reversal of the sanctions, and thus the exclusion from the Swift, led to their gas being paid for in rubles and not in dollars or euros.
It is Sun Tzu: "to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting."
There will be a before and after of the Mariupol battle, I leave two quotes from chapter 3 of On War:
Now, if it is to get safely through this perpetual conflict with the unexpected, two qualities are indispensable: in the first place an intellect which, even in the midst of this intense obscurity, is not without some traces of inner light, which lead to the truth, and then the courage to follow this faint light. The first is figuratively expressed by the French phrase coup d’œil. The other is resolution. As the battle is the feature in War to which attention was originally chiefly directed, and as time and space are important elements in it, more particularly when cavalry with their rapid decisions were the chief arm, the idea of rapid and correct decision related in the first instance to the estimation of these two elements, and to denote the idea an expression was adopted which actually only points to a correct judgment by eye. Many teachers of the Art of War then gave this limited signification as the definition of coup d’œil. But it is undeniable that all able decisions formed in the moment of action soon came to be understood by the expression, as, for instance, the hitting upon the right point of attack, &c. It is, therefore, not only the physical, but more frequently the mental eye which is meant in coup d’œil. Naturally, the expression, like the thing, is always more in its place in the field of tactics: still, it must not be wanting in strategy, inasmuch as in it rapid decisions are often necessary. If we strip this conception of that which the expression has given it of the over-figurative and restricted, then it amounts simply to the rapid discovery of a truth which to the ordinary mind is either not visible at all or only becomes so after long examination and reflection.

Resolution is an act of courage in single instances, and if it becomes a characteristic trait, it is a habit of the mind. But here we do not mean courage in face of bodily danger, but in face of responsibility, therefore, to a certain extent against moral danger. This has been often called courage d’esprit, on the ground that it springs from the understanding; nevertheless, it is no act of the understanding on that account; it is an act of feeling. Mere intelligence is still not courage, for we often see the cleverest people devoid of resolution. The mind must, therefore, first awaken the feeling of courage, and then be guided and supported by it, because in momentary emergencies the man is swayed more by his feelings than his thoughts.

We have assigned to resolution the office of removing the torments of doubt, and the dangers of delay, when there are no sufficient motives for guidance. Through the unscrupulous use of language which is prevalent, this term is often applied to the mere propensity to daring, to bravery, boldness, or temerity. But, when there are sufficient motives in the man, let them be objective or subjective, true or false, we have no right to speak of his resolution; for, when we do so, we put ourselves in his place, and we throw into the scale doubts which did not exist with him

(...)

If we now turn to strength of mind or soul, then the first question is, What are we to understand thereby?

Plainly it is not vehement expressions of feeling, nor easily excited passions, for that would be contrary to all the usage of language, but the power of listening to reason in the midst of the most intense excitement, in the storm of the most violent passions. Should this power depend on strength of understanding alone? We doubt it. The fact that there are men of the greatest intellect who cannot command themselves certainly proves nothing to the contrary, for we might say that it perhaps requires an understanding of a powerful rather than of a comprehensive nature; but we believe we shall be nearer the truth if we assume that the power of submitting oneself to the control of the understanding, even in moments of the most violent excitement of the feelings, that power which we call self-command, has its root in the heart itself. It is, in point of fact, another feeling, which in strong minds balances the excited passions without destroying them; and it is only through this equilibrium that the mastery of the understanding is secured. This counterpoise is nothing but a sense of the dignity of man, that noblest pride, that deeply-seated desire of the soul always to act as a being endued with understanding and reason. We may therefore say that a strong mind is one which does not lose its balance even under the most violent excitement.

2014, the year zero, according to the Cass, the events that led to the Minsk 1 and 2 agreements, then to its non-observance from top to bottom, then to the defence and protection of the Donbass against experimentation, inhuman torture and other apocalyptic shenanigans of self-conceived all-powerful lunatics gathered in that devil's nest in the Heartland.
Putin then undertook a "violently STO" approach, if I can put it like that, to counterbalance this endless evil hole, which could otherwise spread like a plague from a dark sky.

To paraphrase this quote from Clausewitz, talking about war: "An act of violence intended to compel our opponent to fulfil our will."
This would become: "An act of violence designed to force our opponents not to do their will."
And I would add, until their wishful thinking overwhelms them once and for all.
Yes, the act of war is above all STS, but not only that, first of all it bruises deep down the flesh, the heart and then the soul.

Finally, I don't know if this video has already been posted, the NATOists say it is a weapon of mass propaganda:

Russian envoy leaves session of UNSC on Ukraine during speech by head of European Council

UNITED NATIONS, June 6. /TASS/.

"Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya left a session of the UN Security Council on Ukraine during a speech by Head of the European Council Charles Michel on Monday, a TASS correspondent reported."

"Michel who attended the session in person condemned the actions of Russian servicemen in Ukraine. Earlier, in his address, the Russian envoy refuted such accusations."

"‘Russian soldiers are raping women everywhere.’ And that’s it. This is so obvious that nothing needs to be proven. Not even a single example was cited."

"Chairman of the European Council Charles Michel, also, contrary to facts, accused us of provoking a food crisis. He was speaking in such a brash and rude manner that Russia’s permanent representative left the room."

FROM ANOTHER ARTICLE ON THE SAME SUBJECT:

"a visibly irritated Nebenzia told Reuters: "I couldn't stay" because of "the lies that Charles Michel came here to distribute."

"Speaking directly to Nebenzia as he walked out, Michel said: "You may leave the room, maybe it's easier not to listen to the truth."

"Mr Ambassador of the Russian Federation, let's be honest, the Kremlin is using food supplies as a stealth missile against developing countries," Michel said in the Security Council. "Russia is solely responsible for this food crisis."

It's a hard video for all its participants, and it's just hard to watch.

Marines from the infamous 36th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dealt with a captured DPR fighter and threw away the "corpse". But the man miraculously survived and now met with the one who "killed" him. A Ukrainian marine fighter cried when he saw the one they were trying to take his life. The DPR military had his head pierced, his brain was touched, his neck, chest and back were cut with a bayonet knife. The fact that he survived is a miracle, the doctor says.
voenhronika.ru - Военная хроника

Russia has about 1100 generals. 4-star generals are the highest in rank, 44 of whom are on active duty, and they usually do not serve directly on the front lines. Generals of lower rank do
I'll make a small correction. The highest general rank in the army of the Russian Federation is general of the army, previously it was really designated with 4 stars, now it is designated with a large, "marshal" star.

Воинские звания российской армии по возрастанию. Фото погонов

Внесу небольшую поправку. Высшее генеральское звание в армии РФ- генерал армии, раньше действительно обозначалась 4 звездами, теперь обозначается большой, "маршальской" звездой.

The quote carried by RT is:

Rather than new weapons, new targets. The 'decision making centres' Putin previously referred to, presumably. Which means a direct threat to NATO personnel. Will NATO be able to sweep such an incident under the carpet, if (when?) it happens.

South Front mentioned a Polish colonel who may have been killed or is currently trapped near Severodonetsk. We shall see.

Perhaps what Putin said has already been fulfilled, how could it be otherwise, the recent attacks on kyiv left several with a degree of surprise and with many questions, unlike previous attacks using cruise missiles from ships; Cruiser missiles would have been used in their KH-59 ground attack versions guided by laser or by TV guidance system (it is like a live camera of the terrain) launched from Russian fighter-bombers since the Russian Ministry of Defense published videos of these precision attacks (for those who said they were running out of these types of weapons as they have already said) missiles of this type have a range of 115 km in their export version and 285 km for the Russian elite forces. .. now the speculative and fun part, since it was about stealth attacks and against which kyiv's anti-aircraft defenses could do nothing, it would not be Su-35 planes, but Sukhois-57! ("Felon" for the NATO guys), it was already said from various sources and leaks that these fifth generation aircraft were operating since March and maybe carrying out attacks from the border... now because this is funny as I said before:

1.-Because the Sukhoi is treated by many as garbage for not being as stealthy as the F-22 or the F-35, and Russia has expressed that it was conceived as a defensive and non-offensive fighter that would operate in conjunction with its defenses aerials and radars so it does not need so much stealth and instead with the new engines (there were delays in the development of these and the planes were until now using fourth generation engines that detracted from its potential) although the Shukoi-57 was already incredibly maneuverable , loaded with electronic warfare tools, more armed than the other fifth generation aircraft, greater flight autonomy time and very fast to easily finish off a clumsy f-35 in a solo combat that beyond its stealth does not possess many advantages, now there will be less doubt pf its potential (others will obviously remain blind), even though many features remain secret, due to its type of engine that can rotate its nozzles 360 degrees It would already be superior in maneuverability to the F-22 Raptor.
In general, this aircraft, in addition to its multiple functions and capabilities in different scenarios, is supposed to be a destroyer of other aircraft of the same generation and this is what the West does not like, if there is more or less exaggeration, it will have to be seen, but it seems that we are in the presence of another weapon that the West did not anticipate and limited itself to making fun of its engines and delays.

2.- It would be funny to see for the first time fifth-generation planes in a real war, circumventing anti-aircraft defenses without being an attack on a terrorist machine gun nest in the Middle East.

3.- The best for last, as we see the propaganda of the tractors winning the war suddenly fell silent, but don't worry! Tom Cruse arrived in his new Top Gun movie that is bursting the box office to save the day , apart from stealing an F-14 Tomcat plane (4th generation fighter-bomber plane from the year 1970 out of service in the United States) from a base in a terrorist country (it is not said, but it is Iran) and as "final boss", he faces a SQUAD of Sukoi-57s (!) that are chasing them. and after a difficult battle, destroy one (!), although again they don't say the name of the plane, the level of hollywood fantasy broke its limits again.

So if sukoi-57 were used (if that was the case, surely the intelligence services already know and won't tell), it would be funny since it would be a good blow to the ridicule and speculation that it is a junk plane for not being so furtive and in doubt of Putin's declaration to use new weapons.

P.S: No, I didn't see the movie and I don't think I will, so forgive me for not bringing a first-hand source, although I did see in several places that that's what stands out as strange from the movie.

British Bishop: 'Russia is the Last Obstacle to the One World Government' (Video

7db9c8d94880814a.jpeg.jpg

The Bishop believes that “the next tricks of the criminals who rule the world will be artificially created famine” and urges Europeans to stock up on food while they can still buy it.
On May 15, 2022, controversial British Bishop Richard Williamson spoke out in support of the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. He called Russia the last obstacle to the One World Order. Globalists have longed to rule the world through an authoritarian one-world government that will replace sovereign nation-states.
“Among the heads of state, there is only one who is standing up to the forces of evil. Don’t count on Boris Johnson in England. Don’t count on Macron in France. Don’t count on Draghi in Italy. It’s Vladimir Putin who may be no angel and no saint, but nevertheless, he is a man of intelligence and great courage. And at the head of Russia, he has the means of standing up against the One World government,” said Bishop Williamson, addressing the parishioners of one of the Warsaw churches.
According to the Bishop, “the Russians are fighting in Ukraine, but not in such a way to smash or crush and destroy Ukraine.” In this regard, Williamson recalled the purpose of the special operation, voiced by Putin: the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine. “But foolish Europe,” the Bishop continued, “follows the orders of the United States in their attempt to crush Russia.”
Williamson believes that “the next tricks of the criminals who rule the world will be artificially created famine” and urges Europeans to stock up on food while it can still be bought.
“They played the trick of Covid; they played the trick of Ukraine, which has been provoking Russia since 2014. Russia had to defend itself. The real aggressor is not who he looks like. US agents have been provoking Russia from Ukraine for several years,” said the Bishop.
Williams lamented that for many Americans, who were mostly Christians, their real religion is now politics, and “many of them out of patriotism want to destroy Russia because Russia is the last obstacle to a United World Order.”

Finland and Sweden should be grateful that Turkey is blocking their NATO applications.

From Sputniknews:

NATO does not give Russia guarantees of non-deployment of nuclear weapons in Finland and Sweden.

This was stated by the Assistant Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Kamiy Gran, in an interview with Swedish RTS.

I think most Serbs rather go to war. They will never betray Russia nor join the hostile alliance that bombed their cities to ruins.

NewResistance:
The US reminds Serbia to focus on its goal of joining the EU and pursue a common foreign policy with the rest of Europe, the State Department said, commenting on Lavrov's visit.

The SU35's radar has a targeting system that includes an infra-red search and track system said to have an 80KM (fifty-mile) range. Potentially this is a significant threat to stealth fighters.

I don't think the Russians would mind putting the SU-35 up against a stealth fighter. Considering there are no enemy Awacs supporting it.

"Russia says seized full control of east Ukraine’s key city after fierce fighting"

"[ Last Update: Tuesday, 07 June 2022 4:20 PM ]"

"Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on Tuesday said the country’s forces have seized full control of the residential areas of Sievierodonetsk, a key city in Ukraine's east, while also announcing the arrest of thousands of Ukrainian troops."

"The top defense official announced that the Russian forces were now controlling 97 percent of the former Soviet republic’s restive Luhansk region after weeks of fierce fighting between the two warring sides."

“The residential areas of the city of Sievierodonetsk have been fully liberated,” Shoigu told a defense ministry meeting in televised remarks on Tuesday, adding that the Russian military was still seeking to establish control over the eastern city’s “industrial zone and the nearest settlements.”

“The de-mining of the Mariupol port is complete. It is operating as normal and has accepted the first cargo ships,” the Russian defense minister noted.

"In his remarks on Tuesday, Shoigu also announced that some 6,500 Ukrainian soldiers had surrendered to Russian troops since the start of Moscow’s military campaign in the former Soviet republic."

“Over the last five days, 126 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have surrendered, the total number amounts to 6,489 people,” Shoigu said."

"Russia confirms broken ties with rights court"

"In a separate development on Tuesday, the Russian parliament passed a series of laws allowing Moscow not to comply with the top European human rights court’s rulings.

Under the new laws passed by the State Duma, Russia’s lower parliament house, Russian authorities are no longer obliged to comply with rulings of the European Court of Human Rights issued after March 15.

The move by the Russian parliament formalized the already-broken ties between Moscow and the Council of Europe, the continent’s foremost human rights body.

State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin described the court as a “tool of a political battle against our country in the hands of Western politicians,” adding that “some of its rulings went directly against Russia’s Constitution, our values, our traditions.”

"Kremlin Declares "Land Bridge" Complete From Western Russia To Donbas To Crimea"

"Russia's military has declared that its desired strategic "land bridge" connecting Russian national territory with the Donbas and Crimea is complete, according to statements given to CNN senior national security correspondent Alex Marquardt. The Tuesday Russian military statement said that "roads and rail lines between western Russia and Crimea are operational," which marks that "the land bridge is complete."

"Conditions have been created for the resumption of full-fledged traffic between Russia, Donbas, Ukraine and Crimea on six railway sections," Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said. "Automobile communication has been opened from the territory of Russia along the mainland to Crimea." Thus it appears the Kremlin is touting its own 'mission accomplished' moment, at least pertaining to the eastern and southern theaters of the war."
