I don't know whether this paper has been discussed, but I was wondering if any of you had read/heard of Protec's paper. Link provided.

Thoughts?

Here is a counter argument....
So who bought Blanchard, should be the question.
Another question; how can a structure(with more than one floor) come down in free fall? (and don't argue milliseconds here!) A structure that previously was sound and constructed to take hits of such magnitude.
Elementary understanding of physics is enough to tell You that shouldn't be possible(ie. You don't have to be an architect or engineer to understand that). Collapsing floors have been used to explain this but that is not taking into account constructing a sound building, a building that can support it's own weight and take on the elements. Just for starters...

Yet sadly most people I know that *still* beleive in the 9/11 thing (that it was terrorists as the governement says etc) cannot undurstand that simple thing. They all think planes can bring buildings down just like so because of the "pankake" effect of floors collapsing on top of the other etc.

There's nothing we can do. These people can't even think by themslelves.

My mom, unfortunately, is one of those. I tried to have a conversation with her about it, but I believe she is probably now concerned for my mental health...which is rather ironic.
