PR firms and Law firms working for the war camp

I think it might be appropiate to have a thread casting the spotlight on the PR firms and Law firms, who work for the war agenda and regime change and who use disinformation to garner support. We then have the war harpies/war pimps, the presstitutes, the think tanks, the NGOs, the Military Industrial Complex, the intelligence agencies, the government departments and of course the Law firms and the PR firms. They are tightly knit and quote each other. There also appear to be a revolving door where the people move back and forth within this network.

Also of interest are people who work for these firms and who just so happen to slip in and out of official posts in administrations. One such person is Peter Kadzik, who was the lawyer who got Marc Rich pardoned by Bill Clinton, and who now is in charge of the Department of Justice (DOJ) probe into the 650,000 emails found on the laptop shared by Clinton's right-hand woman Huma Abedin and her estranged, pervert husband Anthony Wiener. Loretty Lynch would be another person.

As for the firms and to make a start on this thread, we have Hill & Knowlton:
https://www.sott.net/article/303136-Information-war-goes-into-overdrive-as-West-reacts-to-Russian-intervention-in-Syria
Inventing crimes out of whole cloth, or worse, passing off crimes committed by themselves or their stooges in order to hoodwink the masses and sell wars, is standard operating procedure in U.S. foreign policy. In 1990, America's largest PR firm, Hill & Knowlton, was paid $10 million in 1990 by Bush Senior to pull off a 'Saddam-Hussein-is-evil-incarnate' media campaign. Most notoriously, they enlisted the Kuwaiti ambassador's daughter to appear before a US congressional committee, where she poured her eyes out over "Saddam's Elite Republican Guard throwing babies out of incubators", despite no such thing having taken place.

15-year-old Nayirah al-Ṣabaḥ in tears during her testimony to a televised congressional committee that essentially sealed Saddam Hussein and Iraq's fate in the American public's eyes. It was later revealed that she was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States and Canada and had been put up to this act by the largest PR firm in the US, Hill & Knowlton.

In the same article Niall mentions another firm, this time a Law Firm Carter-Ruck, with the task of spreading disinfo about Syria:
Qatar, which has invested at least $4 billion in the war against Syria, and promised to commit another $20 billion in the 'reconstruction' of the country it has actively been annihilating, is hardly a disinterested party. Qatari Emirs are hell-bent on removing the al-Assads and remaking Syria in their own franken-Islamic image. That is why, on the eve of Syria peace talks in Geneva in January 2014, the anti-human, medieval state of Qatar commissioned an elite London law firm - Carter Ruck - to whip up a glossy 'report' on al-Assad's "industrial-scale torture and murder."

hood_caesar.jpg

An alleged 'defected military photographer' known as 'Caesar' (blue jacket and hood) testifying before U.S. Congress in July 2014 about 50,000 images depicting victims of regime torture he allegedly smuggled out of Syria to Qatar, stored on USB sticks.
The London law firm they hired, Carter-Ruck, is about as reliable an 'independent' source as Tony Blair is a 'peace envoy'. Carter-Ruck was, curiously enough, instrumental in launching another earlier propaganda maneuver against Syria (that whole shrill spiel about 'Assad's chemical weapons of mass destruction'). As Joe Quinn pointed out here, "Carter-Ruck has a long track record of 'defending' important, scandal-ridden clients and corporations against "defamation" that turned out to be not so defamatory after all."

More about Carter-Ruck from Joe's article mentioned above:
https://www.sott.net/article/265666-Syria-Chemical-Weapons-and-the-Britam-Defence-emails

In short, it seems likely that the Britam Defence email about the 'plot' to frame Assad for a chemical weapon attack on his own people, was faked by someone, possibly the original hacker, who may or may not have been Iranian. (Heck, he could have been working for the CIA/MI6/Mossad axis of evil and we've all been set-up.)

I found it interesting, however, that the law firm used by Britam to bring the defamation case against the Daily Mail was the well-known (in the UK at least) Carter-Ruck, a firm that has a reputation for arguing defamation and libel court cases for the rich, famous and corrupt. For example, Carter-Ruck were accused of censorship in the 2009 'Trafigura' case where Carter-Ruck, on behalf of their client 'Trafigura', attempted to prevent British newspapers, by way of a 'super-injunction', from revealing the details of the Minton report, which exposed the fact that Trafigura, the third largest multi-national oil and metals trading company, had been dumping hazardous waste on the Ivory Coast, causing the deaths of multiple people and injury to many more.

For those interested, Trafigura appears to be one half of an original company owned by Marc Rich (the other half is today known as Glencore International AG). Marc Rich was the man who was famously pardoned in January 2001 by Bill Clinton, just hours before Clinton left office. Rich had been indicted on tax evasion, racketeering and trading with Iran during the Iran Hostage Crisis in 1979.

In a 1991 Bank of England investigation into the former 'Bank of Credit and Commerce International' (BCCI - formed in 1972 for the express purpose of laundering money for Western intelligence agencies), Marc Rich was identified by a Syrian-born BCCI London branch manager as the person who accompanied Iraqi 'businessman' Samir Najmeddin on trips to the London branch of BCCI. Part of Najmeddin's 'business' was channeling weapons from the US govt. and the CIA to Saddam Hussein (like the chemical weapons that Saddam may or may not have used against the Kurds, but which were used as the final justification for the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, even though he no longer had them).

Najmeddin's visits to BCCI with Marc Rich were also to manage the BCCI accounts of arch Palestinian "terrorist" Abu-Nidal. The problem is that Abu Nidal was a long-term US/Israeli spy who only pretended to be a Palestinian freedom-fighter. He was shot in Iraq (where he had been living) in 2002 by the Iraqi Mukhabarat when it was discovered that he was still working for the Americans and the Israelis as they plotted their 2003 'Operation Iraqi Freedom'.

There's a pretty deep and murky rabbit hole right there, as you can probably imagine, but it's beyond the scope of this article.

The point in citing Trafigura and Carter-Ruck is to highlight the fact that, to protect its reputation against the allegations that it was involved in a chemical 'false-flag' attack in Syria, Britam Defence used a law firm that has a long track record of 'defending' important, scandal-ridden clients and corporations against "defamation" that turned out to be not so defamatory after all.

From the thread on the White Helmets, we have the PR company Purpose, which started the Syria Campaign, which started The White Helmets.
An image to help seeing the flow and interconnectedness:

Here is the mission statement from the home page of Purpose.com:
Driven by people, enabled by technology:
Purpose builds movements and new power models to tackle the world's biggest problems.

A proud public benefit corporation, we create and launch our own ventures, collaborate with the world's leading organizations and develop technology, tools and content that move millions to remake the world.

also:
White Helmets is linked to George Soros through a PR firm named Purpose Inc., a pro-war firm that argues for Western intervention against Assad. The co-founder of Purpose is Jeremy Heimans, who also helped found Avaaz, a “pro-democracy” group connected to Soros’ Open Society Foundation, SEIU, and MoveOn.org.

Yes, it certainly is making content to move millions, but the remaking of the world is more on the model of Libya post-Gaddaffi.

The Syria campaign has this to say about itself.
_https://thesyriacampaign.org/
We are an independent advocacy group campaigning for a peaceful and democratic future for Syria.

In March 2011, after four decades of dictatorship, the Syrian people rose up peacefully to demand freedom and dignity. The regime of Bashar al-Assad crushed that uprising with force, triggering an international war that has killed more than 400,000 and driven 12 million from their homes.

In the rubble of this destruction foreign extremists like Isis have flourished.

The Syria Campaign launched in 2014 to mobilise people around the world to help stop the violence and accelerate progress towards a peaceful and democratic future for Syria. We stand with Syrians against human rights abuses and oppression from all sides.

Together we have run campaigns that have saved lives and helped change the way the world sees Syrians. The bigger we are, the more impact we’ll have – please join us.

No comment is needed. The blame as evident from their website is all on Assad.
