Benedict, who attended Vatican II as a young theologian, has long complained about what he considers the erroneous interpretation of the council by liberals, saying it was not a break from the past but rather a renewal of church tradition.

In the latest document — formulated as five questions and answers — the Vatican seeks to set the record straight on Vatican II's ecumenical intent, saying some contemporary theological interpretation had been "erroneous or ambiguous" and had prompted confusion and doubt.

It restates key sections of a 2000 document the pope wrote when he was prefect of the congregation, "Dominus Iesus," which set off a firestorm of criticism among Protestant and other Christian denominations because it said they were not true churches but merely ecclesial communities and therefore did not have the "means of salvation."

This is a portion of the story carried by the Assocaite Press in which the Pope announced that if you are not a Catholic then you are not Christian and have no means of salvation.

I must certainly be a heretic because it is all drivel as far as I'm concerned, however, there are many we share the planet with that will hang on the every word this "man" utters, it is truly frightening.
 
he's really stirring things, and totally according to plan. This is a straight out of Protocol 17, carried out like clockwork! :

Protocol 17 also talks about the final destruction of the world religions, the most significant being Christianity. This will be achieved by infiltration, and dismantling/discrediting from within, by steering church policy retrogressively to create a gradual disconnect from the relevance of real life. This then will lead to a point at which the church will come under external attack, at which point, the elite will 'appear' to defend it, though this will be the final manoeuvre in order to infiltrate right to its heart and finish it off. This can be seen today in the vilification of Islam.

The aim is the destruction of Christianity, other religions and cultures, followed by a transitional stage of atheism, followed finally with a hegemony under the banner of Judaism. This is consistent dynamic in the growth of a pathocracy, in which a particular ideology is subsumed and used as a 'carrier' for the psychopathic agenda. In this way, those adherents to the existing ideology will support it all the more vehemently; becoming personally identified with it and therefore blinded to its corrupted purpose and to their role as pawns in the ponerogenesis.

This protocol 17 is a burger to deal with in trying to counteract and indeed a sign of things to come that must be dealt with. According to Adpop's thread, they are beginning to split up the church now.
