The Assembly Health and Senior Services Committee has set a hearing to discuss A1324 - legislation that would ban the use of thimerosal (mercury) in vaccines for all citizens of the state of NJ by 2009. Thimerosal's use would be phased out in 2007 and 2008 under the terms of the bill.

Does the location really matter? Feels like every day brings us closer to Internet 2. C's have said repeatedly that we already live under one gov't.
I only could say that russian forums likely are under strict moderation of what to discuss and dangerous themes are watched and authors tracked.
The incredibly interesting discussion on "Babel" cyrillic language brought up by "Captain" was shut up fast and he left without leaving tracks. Other author of posts on semiotics on other forum was bashed and decided to leave. The same applied to secret services operations discussed on other forum, where knowledgable dusturber of web peacefulness quickly left.
I was fighting against vaccination on one of main rus forums. It' feels like they trace you as you post the first dangerous post (in my case Gorowitz paper on Consortium from Counterpunch.org), and when the air heats up to undeniable & hard vaccination truth facts with Alfredo Embid's "Del control de natalidad al genocidio" and other links from Mexico, Columbia, Nicaragua they overpower not by content but by form, writing unrelated to discussed theme lenghty citations from classic immunology textbooks and by number, arriving suddenly in massive numbers to write scientifically unsound objections. "Say whatever you want we don't hear". Feels like being a howling shrimp in a tightly closed jar.
Look how Israel Shamir's book The other face of Israel was banned in France (Laura's sweet home) couple of months ago, confiscated from booksellers, his publisher fined with 10.000 E + 12.000 to Antidefamation League and jailed for 3 months.
