I stumbled across the word Ponerology while researching a ruthless group of business people with whom I had the great misfortune of interacting with.

Jose Gude on the Corbett Report describes a typical normal, empathetic persons reaction when hearing about ponerology for the first time.

After reading the incredible book Political Ponerology: A science on the nature of evil adjusted for political purposes by Andrew Lobaczewski (http://www.ponerology.com/), I had a transcendental moment of realization (sort of an "Eureka!" moment). I have to conclude that ponerology and psychopathy are two significant concepts that best explain the sorry state of human affairs in this world which continue to negatively impact on our society, our lives, and our future. No, I don't think it has anything to do with "greed" or even "moral weakness" (however you define it). It has to do with psychopathology and its influence on the nature of evil in society.

Sounds like a pretty typical response to reading the book. :cool2: (The other being legalistic nitpicking and outright denial...) I'll be following the blog. Hope they have some insightful things to share!

That book is indeed one of those life changing works,

let's hope the owner of the Blog digs deeper and reads the book :)

Good news. The fact that a group of psychopaths 'made it personal' for this individual could make for a very interesting blog. Thanks for sharing!

That's an awesome reaction to the book and good news that knowledge of Ponerology is spreading. I look forward to reading his blog posts about it. :)

Great! Hope it will spread some knowledge about the color of the psychopathy seeds :)

By reading the book, I find very interesting the different "nomenclatures" of the different psychopathological traits. Caracteropathy, schizoïds, etc... all these barbaric terms!

That is pretty cool to learn!

Thanks for the super blog!

Good find. It's always nice to see when people 'get it'. Hopefully, he'll carry on.
