The director, the son of David just killed himself.
So he's gone missing in a place, and at a time, where bad weather has caused other experienced hikers to die recently, so it's too early to say whether it's a likely 'Missing 411' case. The search for British actor Julian Sands continues nearly a week after he was reported missing while hiking in a treacherous area of California’s San Gabriel Mountains, where at least two other hikers have already perished this winter.
The search for the 65-year-old actor is currently being conducted “via helicopter only”, the San Bernardino county sheriff’s department said Friday afternoon, because the risk of avalanches around Mt Baldy has continued to make on-the-ground rescue efforts too dangerous.
There is currently no timeline for ending the search for Sands, department spokesperson Gloria Huerta said on Friday.
The Mt Baldy bowl area where Sands was hiking has been a deadly one this winter, with at least two hikers killed in the area after falling and injuring themselves in the past month, according to the sheriff’s department.
One of the two hikers who died, identified by local media as Crystal Paula Gonzalez, was an experienced hiker, known to family and friends as “the hiking queen,” CBS News Los Angeles reported. Authorities said that Gonzalez, who had previously summited Mt Whitney, one of the highest peaks in the United States, slipped and fell more than 500ft while hiking on 8 January, and died of her injuries on the mountain.
Search and rescue teams have responded to more than two dozen different incidents of lost or injured hikers in the Mt Baldy area over the past month, with authorities this week warning even experienced hikers to stay away from the mountain during “extremely dangerous” conditions.
Sands, an avid hiker and longtime resident of the Los Angeles area, was reported missing around 7.30pm last Friday. Pings from his cell phone logged in subsequent days only showed his movements on 13 January, the sheriff’s department said late Friday.
Initial ground and helicopter searches of one of his possible locations that day did not locate any evidence of Sands, the department said. Further analysis of Sands’ cell phone location data is ongoing, but, “Thus far, no workable leads have been developed”, the department said.
At this point, there is no data that indicates Sands’ whereabouts after Friday, the day he was reported missing, Huerta said. His vehicle was located in the Mt Baldy area, and has been towed by his family, she said.
“Additional air searches will be conducted,” the department said.
As California has been buffeted by winter storms, weather conditions in the mountain have inhibited attempts to assist missing and injured hikers, including Sands. Rescue crews looking for Sands on the ground had to be pulled off the mountain on Saturday night because of the dangerous weather. Weather conditions also inhibited the efforts to evacuate Gonzalez, the injured hiker, off the mountain to a hospital, a medic told CBS News Los Angeles. She left behind five children, the news outlet reported.
More than 21 people have died across California in the storms of the past few weeks, and others, including a five-year-old boy swept away in flood waters, remain missing.
Sorry, my bad, shouldn't be posting late at night after a long day. ThanksSorry, but that was februari 2021.
This week we welcome author and filmmaker David Paulides of the Missing 411 series. David is a former police officer and investigator who spent the greater part of the last 20 years documenting unsolved cases of people who have gone missing in the national parks and wilderness of North America. Who or what is taking people without a trace? The creator and producer of three Missing 411 documentaries, David just released his most recent project, Missing 411: The UFO Connection. In this groundbreaking film, he presents empirical evidence connecting UFO phenomena to a subset of mysterious disappearances. Join us as we chat with David about his theories and insights into these fascinating and bizarre cases, the irrefutable connections between these missing people, and find out how his investigations and interviews around these mysterious disappearances have changed his views on what is happening in the wilds of North America.
His name is Fox Mulder? :DDave interviewed an ex FBI guy, who was with the bureau for 25 years and among other things, specialized in paranormal cases.
The ex FBI guy, John DeSouza (unfortunately he wasn't named Fox Mulder), was interviewed at the premiere of "The UFO Connection": Dave posted the discussion on his youtube channel today.
A few things mentioned in the interview:
- Apparently there is currently a huge number of Inuit women disappearing in northern Canada and Alaska: it would fit the Yukon area.
If memory serves, I think it was mentioned in a Cass session(?), that there is an apparent "4D STS" influence in the Yukon region.
- The interview was interrupted by a fire alarm after it had got going. Not surprising, as often there is "something" that doesn't want the topic being investigated/talked about.
- The higher up folks at the FBI didn't let the field agents see the results of the samples, which were taken at the cattle mutilation sites (by special teams). They hid the results to prevent the extra work, which would be required if the cases were investigated further.
Evidently the coyotes and wolves don't go near the carcasses, as they sense that something "supernatural" has taken place.
-The disappearances and other shenanigans are connected to "extra dimensional beings", who somehow gain access to our reality.
DeSouza has written a book about the subject: "The Extra-Dimensionals".
- DeSouza was involved in the 9/11 investigations and clearing of the rubble at the WTC. He says that they found no plane parts amongst the debris, not even a single wheel strut which weigh tons. Later during the Q&A, he clarified that some kind of high tech hologram, which had "solidity" involved in it, was used to depict the planes hitting the buildings. He seems to be in the "no planes" camp.
- It looks to DeSouza, that if a person gets "disappeared", s/he has to be unobserved for a period of time, meaning that no one is having a direct view on them. For instance, he mentions the "going to pee" example: there is a bunch of people, and someone goes to take a leak behind the bushes, is unobserved and disappear. Dave concludes that probably 98-99% of the missing cases are exactly like that: the people are alone with no eyes on them.
A body found in the River Wyre has been formally identified as that of Nicola Bulley.
The mother-of-two was found on Sunday a mile from where she was last seen, walking her dog in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire, three weeks ago.
Her death is still being treated as ‘unexplained’ while post-mortem examinations continue. [...]
The find concludes a major search of the area which saw specialists comb a large stretch of the river for days on end. [...]
Nicola’s body is understood to have been found among reeds, making it difficult for experts to find her.
Specialist divers who volunteered to scan the riverbed with state-of-the-art equipment said she was ‘categorically not’ in the section where police believe she fell in.
Specialist Group International (SGI) said they searched the bed near where Nicola was eventually found ‘for four hours on our first day’ but that they were ‘not involved or tasked with’ the search of the riverbank, which includes reeds.
Peter Faulding has previously shared how the area where Ms Bulley was found WAS searched before. The specialist diver, who was called in by Nicola's family to help search for her, said: "I was there for three days as a volunteer. The police search teams walked that river every day. Up and down, up and down."
Another curiosity about this case: Bulley was 45 years old. 45 years ago - to the DAY (27 January) - a teenager named Roger Jones went missing in the same stretch of river as Bulley. In his case, however, there appears to be a 'down-to-Earth' explanation: he was thrown from his motorcycle and was only found weeks later and much further downstream."I was not asked by the police or Nicola’s family to become involved in this case, but having seen the wild speculation and hurtful commentary that has been ongoing, and having previously assisted in the recovery of Michael Brooks, I decided to use whatever 'gift' it is we mediums possess to try and locate Nicola Bulley."
So where was she, and what did she experience during those 3 weeks? Does she suffer, is she conscious???Pretty sure she wasn't in that river for most of the 3 weeks she was missing.

That question is easily answered if they release what the body looked like when found. It’s winter so you wouldn’t get the type of decomposition that would happen in the summer, but it would be fairly obvious if the body was on the bank that long.Pretty sure she wasn't in that river for most of the 3 weeks she was missing.
