Hi there,

i'm flying to Malaga with my bicycle in the end of this month and planning to ride my bike in the area for 12 days. I think I might be going to Granada as well, but I was thinking if anybody had some advice for me on what to see when in the area. It has to be in a radius of 0-400 km from Malaga.
Any comments or suggestion will be welcomed.

thanks

I hear that visiting the Alhambra is a must if you go to Granada ;)

I agree, I visited when I was on a school trip/holiday (tens of years ago), it was fantastic. :perfect:

Hello, I also agree. Ask for the ticket before you go. Alhambra is a much-visited monument. But Granada is all beautiful (City center, Albaicin, Sacromonte, Rio Darro, Tea Houses, Jewish, Spaces) is a charming city. In area of Las Alpujarras, there are small mountain towns: Lanjarón, Pampaneira, Capileira, Trevélz (now quite hot ... if you go by bike). You can eat very heavy meals and fatty ham.
Almuñecar, on the coast, is also very pretty, La Herradura same, beautiful beaches and blue sea.
Already in Malaga, you can visit Nerja, Frigiliana. These villages belong to the region of Axarquia, you can go to Torre del Mar, which has a great promenade with a bike lane, wide beaches and beach bars where you can sunbathe, eat or rest at the edge of the sea, night and day.
Now is "Feria de Málaga". Night and day, concerts ... Antequera and Ronda are also very attractive monumental cities. Also, Marbella and Torremolinos, very tourist cities ...
You can look at these places in google and choose what you like.
In the Tourist Offices (there's one in every town) you can find maps, and much information on festivals and attractions.
Hope you enjoy your trip! :D

And visit the megalithic complex of Antequera? It's the most important megalithic complexes in Europe. It may be interesting.
