I know it's a bit early but I wanted to get this topic started. My best wishes to all of you and may the Divine Cosmic Mind look after you and grant your fondest wishes for the new year! :cheer:

Happy Winter Solstice everyone. :) I wish this was a bigger celebration than it currently is... Seems more in tune with nature, and I think a bunch of the original holidays tend to slide away from them to calendrical quirks and gaps in astronomical observation.

Yes! Happy Winter Solstice to All. The darkest day in the Northern Hemisphere, yet also marks the Return of the Light.

Happy Winter Solstice to everyone. This year it happens on the 21st or the 22nd, depending on location, but according to _http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/ten-things-december-solstice.html it can happen between the 20th and the 23rd, though the next 23rd will only be in 2303, everything else equal, (which is unlikely).

Happy Winter Solstice everybody! And for those of you wandering why it sometimes seems to get a little bit darker still for a couple of days, I just read this great article about it: _http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-30549149

Happy Winter Solstice everybody, I want to thank all of you for your wonderful minds that always causes me to THINK!

Happy Winter Solstice! Wish the light to increase in all the areas of your life! :flowers: :wizard:

Happy Winter Solstice everyone! I personally enjoy solstices very much. They are kinda special, somewhat like Christmas used to be when I was a child.
