I work in a hospital system in the Boston, MA area and get emails looking for volunteers for studies. There's one looking into the difference between the glia cells (immune cells in the brain) of people with fibromyalgia vs. those with similar symptoms who have Gulf War illness. Anyways, I remembered the Cs answering a question about Gulf War syndrome/illness a while ago (Dec 4 1999):
Q: What is the real cause of the "Gulf War Syndrome?"

A: Medications used supposedly to counteract effects of serin; nerve agent.

Q: So, a medication was given to these people to counteract a possible threat to live, and the medication itself was a threat to life?

A: Yes.

The Cs never cease to amaze me!
