Full Metal Alchemist

Has anyone watched this series from Japan? There is so far, 52 episodes of
this anime (probably was a television series for Kids(?) but seems it is a bit
gory at times (even tho it is anime) and some of the concepts presented is
advanced, or so it seems. I see some vague parallels of concepts presented
relating to alchemy and the esoteric. Perhaps the concept presented therein
represents the (old/current?) culture of Japan?

Overall, I really liked watching all 52 episodes and it is very different and very
interesting to watch. There is a movie coming out later, so I hear.

I've seen them once. It's just A-influences, distractions. The use alot of spells and "magic" in these animes. Has nothing to do about alchemy.
