Ka-tet mentions via Twitter : "The last 24 hrs two strong earthquakes have shaken the West Pacific in the Solomon Islands and Japan. The last few times we have seen this dynamic mirrored in America

M6 earthquakes in the Solomon Islands and Japan change the situation for Mexico and Central America. According to analyst Jesus Ramos (Ka-tet) an effusive response is very likely in the next 48-72 hours in places such as Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and the Northwest coast of the USA. He also does not rule out another M6+ earthquake happening south of Japan, northeastern Taiwan, Philippines and Mariana Islands regions resulting in a M7+ earthquake later.

The energy of these possible earthquakes would look towards Mexico, Central America and North America.

Now, as far as the Bio Bio region in Chile is concerned, it is important that seismic activity occurs in the Sandwich Islands so that the energy that is accumulating in Chile is released. The occurrence of earthquakes of lower intensity on the Chilean ridge only indicates that energy is accumulating.
500px-Falkland_Islands,_South_Georgia_and_the_South_Sandwich_Islands_Argentina.png
In the last seven days there has been no seismic activity in the Sandwich Islands region and in 48 hours there has been no seismic activity greater than magnitude 4 in Chile according to Volcanodiscovery

It would not be unusual to see an M6+ earthquake again in the region comprising Bolivia, Chile and Argentina or off the coasts of Chile. If this does not occur, the probability of an M7+ earthquake in the Bio-Bio Region will increase.

Finally seismic activity in Turkey has decreased, but there is an absence of energy release in the Atlantic Ocean, indicating that energy is accumulating in the eastern Mediterranean Sea region comprising Italy, Greece, Cyprus and even Turkey, the warning of a strong earthquake remains in effect.

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT MARCH 29_2023

Yellowstone seismic sequence stopped after the quake M3.7 at 14:24 UTC since then the seismic activity registered earthquakes between 0.4 and 1.3 of magnitude. According to Volcanodiscovery data 64 quakes below magnitude 2 occurred in the last 24 hours.

Yellowstone Lake is a mixture of fissures and hydrothermal vents

High-resolution bathymetric map of the northern basin of Yellowstone Lake, acquired in 1999, showing large hydrothermal-explosion craters in Mary Bay and south-southeast of Storm Point, numerous smaller craters related to hydrothermal vents, and landslide deposits along the eastern margin of the lake near the caldera margin Postcaldera rhyolitic lava flows underlie much of the northern basin. Fissures west of Stevenson Island and the graben north of it may be related to the young Eagle Bay fault. High-resolution bathymetric map of the central lake basin, acquired by multibeam-sonar imaging and seismic mapping in 2001, showing the Yellowstone caldera topographic margin, a large hydrothermal-explosion crater south of Frank Island, and numerous faults, fissures, and hydrothermal vents as indicated.

On the other hand the turmoil in the Ring of Fire continues. Japan recorded three earthquakes larger than magnitude M4.0 two of then in the Bonin Islands. The M4.7 in Bonin Islands was considerable depth.

In his latest update , Analyst Jesus Ramos considers that the M6 3 earthquake in Chile is a precursor of a more powerful earthquake that can reach magnitude 7.7 or even greater than could burst in the next 72 hours between Valdivia, Antofagasta, Concepción, Bio -Bio and Constitucion.

So far there have been registered 3 aftershocks between magnitude 4 and 5 and 18 aftershocks between magnitude 3 and 4

This M6.3 earthquake has occurred in the same rupture zone as the 2010 M8.8 earthquake. Up to now more than 9 hours have passed and no seismic energy migration or seismic compensation is shown towards the Sandwich Islands.

The 2010 Chile earthquake and tsunami (Spanish: Terremoto del 27F)[6] occurred off the coast of central Chile on Saturday, 27 February at 03:34 local time (06:34 UTC), having a magnitude of 8.8 on the moment magnitude scale, with intense shaking lasting for about three minutes.[7][1][2][8] It was felt strongly in six Chilean regions (from Valparaíso in the north to Araucanía in the south) that together make up about 80 percent of the country's population. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) the cities experiencing the strongest shaking—VIII (Severe) on the Mercalli intensity scale (MM)—were Concepción, Arauco, and Coronel. According to Chile's Seismological Service, Concepción experienced the strongest shaking at MM IX (Violent).[1][3] The earthquake was felt in the capital Santiago at MM VII (Very strong)[9] or MM VIII.[1] Tremors were felt in many Argentine cities, including Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, and La Rioja.[10][11] Tremors were felt as far north as the city of Ica in southern Peru (approx. 2,400 km (1,500 mi) away).[12] Wikipedia

On the other hand, the earthquakes registered in France, Austria, in Naples, Italy and on the Island of Crete tell us about the movement of energy to the west after the M7.8 earthquake in Türkiye. IF the trend continues, this could be good news for Italy, Iran and Greece. Due to the seismic activity that has been shown, the magnitude is reduced in these areas to M5+ and in the worst case M6+

As for Central and North America, the energy from the M6.3 earthquake in Chile will migrate to these regions. Mexico, Central America, Ecuador and Peru are going to enter a seismic warning, especially in a period that goes around 72 hours for a possibly M6+ earthquake.

A few hours ago SSN reported a preliminary M5.4 earthquake in Veracruz Mexico which was upgraded to M4.6 The earthquake occurred at a considerable depth of 160.7 km. The quake should have been felt as wesk shaking.

Finally the second probable point of impact would be Central America between the area that goes from El Salvador to Panama and in South America in the north of Ecuador or Peru. The quake may also reach a magnitude 6+ for the next 72 hours

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT APRIL 02_2023

The month of April starts with a powerful earthquake magnitude 7.3 updated to magnitude 7.0 in the island of Papua New Guinea. This earthquake had already been predicted by the analyst Jesus Ramos due to the movement of energy in both directions (east-west) after the earthquakes occurred in Japan (M6.2) and the Solomon Islands (M6.1). Probable regions for an M7+ were marked in red circles. This type of earthquake is known as an offset earthquake.
He also does not rule out another M6+ earthquake happening south of Japan, northeastern Taiwan, Philippines and Mariana Islands regions resulting in a M7+ earthquake later.

7.0 magnitude earthquake in Papua New Guinea changes outlook for Central and South America

The Papua New Guinea earthquake is energetically connected through fracture lines with northern New Zealand and this in turn with southern Chile, Peru and Argentina.

According to the latest update from Jesus Ramos (Ka-tet) this M7.0 earthquake confirms the beginning of a new seismic sequence. Last March 30, an M6.3 earthquake occurred in Chile, which after 72 hours, indicates that this earthquake was one of compensation after the M6.8 earthquake in Ecuador and M6.5 in Argentina. However, the energy is moving towards Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Central America and Southeast of Mexico. More energy will be moving into these areas after the M7.0 earthquake so there is a possibility of an M5+ and at worst M6+ earthquake in the next few days for these areas.
