I just noticed a preview of this movie, and I'm curious to see if anyone has a take on it. From the preview it looked like invincible, enormous dragons (reptiles) invade and conquer Earth amid storm-cloud laden skies.

Well, that was the preview at least.... here is the website - _ - _http://www.dragon-wars.com/

It almost looks video game-esque - I could be so far behind the curve in that genre to have missed something - again, just curious.

I watched the trailer. It's hard to tell if it's going to be Snakes on a Plane or Transformers, dragon style. I know it's a foreign film as well, it was filmed by a South Korean director. There's more here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D-War

I caught the trailer and didn't think it was worth the time/money to go see. Thou i admit, the title did spark my interest.

This reminds me a bit of Reign of Fire from 2002 about Dragons taking over the world. Its a about a few dragons (that multiply) who have been hibernating underneath London if my memory serves me. Then they wreck havoc on the world. I think Sony just released a game with dragons and empirebuilding called 'Reign', Not 100% sure about the story of the game.

You are correct. I just saw the preview, which does remind me of Reign of Fire but the difference was the settings, such as environment, time, places. Dragon Wars seems to be in the present while the Reign of Fire was in London in the far future.

Personally, I would rather wait until the DVD of this movie comes out.
