Wouldn't been the first time when new business come to the equation and the INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and -Mexican- History) do not do its work, in 2011 when the Metrobus construction started, route to the airport, there were vestiges from XVII y XVIII, the construction stops for some days and later covered, because those vestiges weren't prehispanic, never mind that those constructions were built upon prehispanic vestiges, The market place where I work is said to be built in a monastery, though. I suppose that the big spot of business and commerce is spreading out quickly, we are too many. I was able to saw them, and surely La Jornada could had post a better image, but when media do not want to be clear, they put their effort to pass on the next page.

Very sad to see when people don't care about preserving the vestiges from the past. Maybe it's symbolic, in Mexico. The State is becoming more and more like the US Police State. And nobody is learning from History. :(
