I've only read the Read and Blue books, but
I find them substantial.
I have made a long hobby of researching
all of the new channelings, their veracity, etc.
I am an engineer by trade.
One thing that caught my eyes was when the C's
stated that we are paying Karma for Atlantis.
Perhaps some of you (Laura/C's/etc) can clear
up a formal point about this Atlantis business.
I spent a few months compounding the research
and literature about Atlantis available today, last
year. What I discovered is that all of it, Plato on
down, is the same re-packaged and re-embellished
stuff - with one completely orthogonal exception.
Let's call the mainstream Atlantis literature after
perhaps the most visible, Igantius Donelly. (sp?) The
theosophists work with Atlantis looks, feels, and smells
very similar to Plato's and Donelly's. Let's call this
"Plato's Atlantis."
The other 'orthogonal' work is completely profound,
and sounds more like the C's talking. "Dweller on Two
Planets" by Phyllos (Borden Publishing). Channeled
in the 1870's, this must be one of the earliest channeled
works of our age, and is highly recommended just on
its vintage alone (> 120 years old).
This book took me two reads to get, and I found it to
one of the most passionate and far-reaching works that
any human has ever written. It touches on many themes
articulated by the C's, such as fifth density respite, which
it terms "Devachan."
However, my search into the etymology of this D word found
only the Theosophical interpretation (Blavatsky, et. al.), and
it is far different.
Questions:
1. Are any of you familiar with Phyllos' work?
2. Why is it so esoteric? One can scarcely investigate it
without getting caught in the sights of the "Lemurian
Society" And the L.S. has re-published these books,
edited them for content, etc. To me their added "Foreword"
to their edition belies their self-espoused expertise on the
work, as it clearly misses the main spirit. Whassup wif dat?
3. Why are the theosophists espousing information about
Atlantis that more or less fits with Plato's vision?
4. LAURA - Could you please ask the C's the same question
about Phyllos as you did about Dan Winter?
Thanks!!!
