looks like ole' Lukashenko nabbed one of CIA/Soros agent/agitators
Or worse. Good coverage on MoA:

Roman Protasevich - Arrested In Belarus - Is A Western Government Financed Neo-Nazi

There is more to say about the Ryanair incident in Belarus and the arrest of the 'regime change' operative Roman Protasevich.

The sympathetic portraits of Protasevich in the New York Times and in the Guardian are only of interest for what they leave out.

FOIA Research and The Canadafiles have very well sourced and way more complete pieces on him. They link to a mountain of evidence in form of social media postings, photos and videos which support their findings.

From those we learn that Protasevich has long been a member of the fascist "Young Front" militia of Belarus. He has fought alongside the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion in Ukraine's post-Maidan civil war. ...

The London Times had originally reported that Protasevich was involved with Azov but later silently removed that passage from its report.

Another point missing from 'western' media is that Protasevich has long been on the payroll of various 'western' government financed propaganda media ...

That the London Times silently deleted the well-sourced Protasevich-Azov relationship from its report let's one assume that the British government has issued a D-notice to hide that fact.

Forced Landing In Minsk? This Whole Business Stinks

By Peter Haisenko

Information on how the Ryan Air landing in Minsk came about is scarce. All the more the ensuing clamor against Lukashenko. One thing should be clear, the decision where to land is made exclusively by the captain.

Looking at the map, why does a plane on its way from Greece to Lithuania fly over Belarus at all? Possibly because the fees for the overflight are cheaper than over Poland. If you look at the map and the recorded flight path you quickly realize that the plane was already on approach to Vilnius and only a few minutes of flight from the Lithuanian border. From there on, the captain then flew a wide loop to Minsk, delaying the landing by just under half an hour. In the event of a bomb threat, the captain can declare an air emergency and thus he is above all regulations. He may do and request anything he deems necessary and is entitled to any assistance. This law is 'sacred' to all airmen, especially fighter pilots. Why did the captain decide to land in Minsk?

Any reasonably experienced captain knows that there has never actually been a bomb on board an aircraft that has received a bomb threat. So bomb threats should be dealt with in a reasonably relaxed manner, and I know what I'm talking about. So if the captain of the Ryan Air flight after completing already more than two hours of flight time decided to put himself through the additional stress of flying to an airport he doesn't know because of a bomb threat, that in itself is questionable. Even more so because he had to stay in the air longer than absolutely necessary. Oh yes, he was forced to do it, it was claimed. But this can only be believed by someone who is not familiar with the matter.

Nobody could force a landing in Minsk

Lithuania belongs to the EU. Airports also operate according to western standards. In Belarus, Minsk, rather not. So again, why did the captain land in Minsk? Could he be forced to do so? How and by whom? One thing I can rule out: The government of Belarus and its air traffic control can't. Even if they sent a fighter plane to escort it, as was claimed, they cannot force a landing in Minsk. To do that, they would have to threaten to shoot it down, and no one is going to do that over a bomb threat. Nor will anyone want to arrest a passenger.

Certainly not Belarus, because it is being observed very closely. Consequently, the Ryan Air captain was either a moron or part of a perfidious plan.

If we kindly assume that there are no morons in the cockpits of Ryan Air either then only planned action remains. After all attempts to put Belarus into a condition like Ukraine have failed so far including attempts to assassinate the president, this action is intended to create new occasions to justify further sanctions against Belarus. Anyone with a memory of more than three weeks should be able to recognize how double standards are being used again. There are enough examples where flights have been forced to make unscheduled landings by the West or even Ukraine. Without calls for sanctions even being whispered immediately.

Peter Haisenko has published about 700 articles in recent years, focusing on economics, history, politics and aviation.
He served as a commercial pilot for Lufthansa during 30 years in worldwide as co-pilot and captain on B727, DC-8, B747, B737, DC-10 and A 340.

Exactly one year ago, on 9 August 2020, presidential elections were held in Belarus, in which Lukashenko again won. To be honest, about 60-70% of the population really support him, or at least understand that there is no better option yet. Since what wants to replace him is a huge EVIL!

Session 15 August 2020:
(Joe) Niall wants to ask about Belarus if you want to keep it on topic.

(Niall) Did they start this color revolution against Lukashenko because of his stance on the pandemic?

A: Yes and related resistance to domination.

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya continues to travel around the world and meets with world political leaders. And so our Guaidó came to the USA, where she was personally introduced to Joe Biden. They met. It looks like they didn't talk about anything. Only one photo was taken somewhere far from the Oval Office. Joe fed Sveta with cookies from his hand. 🍪The tradition of feeding the opposition with cookies goes back to the time of the Maidan in Ukraine. By the way, she also met with Victoria Nuland with Madeleine Albright, Anthony Blinken, K. Rice. She spoke at the American Congress and called for restrictive measures against leading Belarusian enterprises, including Belaruskali and the Mozyr Oil Refinery. According to Tikhanovskaya, pressure on these enterprises may become an impetus for the beginning of the transit of power in Belarus. Then they took Sveta to London for a photo session with Boris Johnson.

Let me remind you that the leader of the Belarusian opposition, the "president" in exile, is a simple housewife. I do not want to offend the housewives, since in fact I myself am also. But the level of understanding of the world situation and the mental abilities of Sveta are written on her face. At the same time, over the past year, almost all the leaders of the European Union and North America met with her (albeit formally). This suggests parallels with the books of The Billionaire Banker, where the true powerful forces are not visible, and all these presidents, prime ministers and officials are just puppets, carrying out orders from above. At least before it was not so noticeable. Now everything is clearly visible. I hope that more and more people will think about what kind of perverted world they live in.

Today the USA, Canada and Great Britain have introduced additional sanctions against Belarus. Before that, the situation around the country was escalated in the media space:
- the unlucky olimpic runner Timanovskaya flees from the Lukashenka regime to Poland through Austria,
- In Kiev, someone hanged (or hanged himself) an unknown Belarusian oppositionist Shishov. He had some with the Azov battalion, but Lukashenka is still to blame.
- the migration crisis flares up on the border with Lithuania. Lithuanian border guards beat refugees and drive them across the border back to the territory of Belarus. One Iraqi was beaten to death, another nearly died from lack of insulin.
-CNN conducted an "investigation" and discovered a new concentration camp for political prisoners on the territory of Belarus with barbed wire and video cameras. It turned out that this is an ordinary military unit in a small Belarusian town, built in 1954.

Today, Lukashenko gave interviews to the media for more than 8 hours, including questions from BBC, Sky News, The Washington Post and CNN journalists. It is worth paying tribute to Lukashenko, there are few presidents in our time who can speak directly to their faces like this:
Lukashenko responded to the BBC journalist on her words about the imposition of sanctions against Belarus by the UK: "God be with you! May you choke on these sanctions. We have not known Britain for a thousand years and do not want to know. You are American henchmen. Sorry, I'm not talking to you personally. "
President - to the correspondent of The Washington Post: The USA is far away and you do not care what is happening in Belarus. You don't even know where it is located. And after 10 minutes you forgot who you were feeding the cookies. You just use the monopoly right to print and foreign currency and control its circulation.
Lukashenko: “Duda was worried about the falsification of our elections! Listen, he himself won by a margin of several hundred votes, he didn't even get 50%. Poland broke out, but the regional committee in Washington decided: to be so. And everything calmed down. "
Lukashenko to the West: you won't be able to bring down the president. And the sanctions - we'll live, we'll see where it leads.
Lukashenko, responding to a question from a CNN journalist about "repression" in Belarus, reminded the American journalist about the murder of a combat veteran Ashley Babbitt, who was an ardent supporter of Trump, by American police officers in the U.S. Congress building.
"After that, the question of reprisals against civilians and others on my part just pales into insignificance," the president said.

Meanwhile, Biden said that the actions of the Belarusian authorities were an "extreme" threat to national security and U.S. foreign policy.:umm:

Thanks for the detailed summary, Korizak.

I hadn't come across these direct remarks by Lukashenko yet - I'm glad to see him responding directly, with resistance, to the onslaught of propaganda and lies that are being used to target Belarus and his admin for regime change. He's right on the money (no pun intended) about money - the US just prints dollars and uses to it acquire resources that other nations work to produce. I'm betting this is going to come to and end when the financial collapse that we're approaching - and that the C's have also indicated.

Belta News - Lukashenko against mandatory vaccination in Belarus.

“But since we still do not know much, I would not want us to go into a frenzy as the world did when it all began. There will be no mandatory vaccination. I strongly advise against it: God forbid I learn that someone is forcing people to get vaccinated. You know that the reaction on my part will be swift and strong. Vaccination should remain voluntary! If a person wants to be vaccinated it is good, if not, let it be," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
There are still some categories of workers who are responsible for themselves, for their health and also for others: retail, pharmacy workers, some social services. But no one has the right to coerce anyone. We can encourage, convince them... Our people are smart. No coercion!" the president once again emphasized.

No wonder the psychopaths in the West want to overthrow him! It seems like he's barely playing along with whole thing, being strategic, using Russian vaccine but also moving forward on a domestic variant - but here he's being very clear about his position - no coercion, no mandates - quite the contrast to most of the world, really. Good for him - I imagine standing up to the PTB takes a tremendous amount of courage and conviction. I get the sense that him and Putin are like-minded in this respect - the difference being that Putin sits atop the other center of power, as the C's have said (USA being the other one), so he's having to contend more with domestic power struggle of psychopaths - observed to me when he left to meet Biden, and a few regions sprung their "vaccine passport" plans they had been brewing. After the debacle in Afghanistan, the Emperors clothes are coming off - I don't think the West will be too successful in overtaking Belarus.

Thank you very much for your posts.
Yes, I have been living under Lukashenko all the time he became president. It's not that simple.
He, in fact, came to power from the most ordinary people. Until now, one cannot call him a competent politician. Of course, nowadays, he has become a more cautious, more cunning leader and, of course, very much holds on to power. But he still remained a simple man from the village. (rednecks). This was the secret of his success for a long time. Now, most likely, he is simply not allowed into the "closed" PTB club.
Therefore, he has no other choice but to behave the way he personally thinks is right. Therefore, his reactions often look normal, compared to many Western politicians. Although, unlike Putin, he was never able to build a strong team that would help him. The entire government is a puppet that simply carries out its decrees. Everyone is afraid to advise something. For a country as big as Russia, it would be a disaster. While for Belarus, due to its small size, it is a perfectly acceptable solution. (Provided that this is a person with a conscience).

This is just my opinion. Perhaps I do not know any details that will change this point of view, but I believe that we have a fairly calm life in the country at the moment, although, of course, economically, stagnation and future problems are already obvious. Inflation is noticeable, wages are falling significantly. But I think the situation around the world is not much better.

Yesterday, Lukashenko and Putin met in the Kremlin and agreed on all 28 programs within the framework of the Union State (SG). As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted, the implementation of the programs will give a powerful impetus to the economies of the two countries. On September 10, the programs are expected to be approved at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State in Minsk, then they will be submitted for approval by the Supreme State Council of the SG.
Hope that this time it will not end with just talking.
They agreed on gas prices for the next year. This is an eternal problem. Lukashenko wants Russia to sell gas to Belarus as for domestic consumption.
The price will remain at the level of 2021 - $128.5 per 1 thousand cubic meters, while the cost on the European market is $650 per 1 thousand cubic meters. "So I think the difference is clear," Putin said.

The main thing is about the agreements between Putin and Lukashenko on the integration of Russia and Belarus:

— all 28 road maps for the Union State have been agreed, including the gas one;

— the price of Russian gas for Belarus in 2022 will remain at the level of the current year — $128.5 per 1 thousand cubic meters;

- unified markets for gas, oil and petroleum products, as well as electricity will be created;

- the macroeconomic policy will become unified, payment systems will be integrated;

- the countries are moving to a unified industrial policy and mutual access to public procurement and government orders;

- agreements have been reached on the creation of a unified methodology for the harmonization of all indirect taxes;

- unified approaches to pensions, labor legislation, social insurance and benefits will be developed;

- Russia removes all anti-coronavirus restrictions on air traffic with Belarus;

- Minsk will receive new financial support, from September 2021 to the end of 2022 it will amount to $630-640 million;

— the topic of political integration was not discussed, first we need to create an economic basis «Нацелены на унификацию законодательств»: Путин сообщил о согласовании всех программ по Союзному государству

Military exercises Zapad-2021 are being held in Russia and Belarus from September 10 to 16. This is an annual tradition. They are always defensive in nature, but each time it causes hysteria among the neighboring countries (the Baltic countries, Poland and Ukraine), which immediately begin to ask for help from NATO and conduct their exercises.

Russian & Belarusian troops practice fighting side-by-side in huge war-games, with rockets & tanks deployed across Eastern Europe

Close to 200,000 Russian and Belarusian soldiers, sailors and airmen, over 80 aircraft, and up to 760 heavy military equipment pieces, including 290 tanks as well as 15 warships from both nations are taking part in massive military exercises spanning half the width of Europe and involving hundreds of aircraft, armored vehicles and even missile systems.
In a statement issued on Friday, Moscow's Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Zapad-2021 drills had begun in earnest, across 14 separate training grounds from the Baltic Sea to Central Russian cities like Voronezh and Nizhny Novgorod.
Troops from former Soviet republics, including Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as personnel from India and Mongolia are taking part. Delegations of officers from China, Pakistan, Vietnam and Myanmar are also understood to be in attendance.

For the first time, Russia used the Uran-9 and Nerekhta attack robots for reconnaissance and fire support in the same combat formations with people at the training ground in Nizhny Novgorod.

On this day, Putin was present at the exercises.

And Lukashenko said, that Belarus is set to acquire over $1 billion worth of arms and military hardware from Russia, including S-400 missile defense. Belarus is expected to take delivery by 2025. The arsenal upgrade is needed in light of the continued tensions between Moscow, Minsk and NATO, Lukashenko believes.

This summer, my family and I went to the open-air museum of military equipment "Stalin's Line". We visited the reconstruction of the battles of the Second World War, and a little later on another field - the First World War. It really impressed me and upset a little. I understand that I did not know the war in my life, but probably the genetic memory of my ancestors woke up in me. The theme of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 is painful for me.

Stalin Line Complex

The Historical and Cultural Complex Stalin Line was founded to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Soviet People’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War and was opened to the public on 30 January 2005 in memory of the defenders of Minsk. The idea of this unique memorial came from the internationalist warriors charitable foundation “The Memory of Afgan”.
These unique structures were a part of the defence system created at the beginning of the 1930s along the western border of the Soviet Union. This system is unofficially called the Stalin Line similar to the famous Maginot Line and the Mannerheim Line.

Several fresh news from Belarus. Anti-covid-19 measures were stepped up across the country last week. A week ago, fines were introduced for individuals for not wearing a mask in public places, transport, or if it is worn incorrectly, as well as for not observing the distance. 😠The mask regime was introduced in our country exactly a year ago (November 2020), but earlier only legal entities (owners of shops and shopping centers) were fined.
Everything was calm in the summer, but now the incidence of diseases and the increase in the compulsion to vaccinate began. So far we have only 2 vaccines Sputnik V and Sinopharm (China). The Ministry of Health was planning to purchase 100,000 doses of Pfizer for tourists (I really hope that they will not succeed!).

I used to work in the department of epidemiology and immunoprophylaxis. And I roughly understand this mechanism. We really did not have and have not yet adopted any laws obliging everyone to be vaccinated, but there is a huge staff of government officials who, using intimidation, force enterprise managers to follow their orders.
Now there is a plan to vaccinate 40% of the population against influenza and 60% against covid-19. Currently vaccinated (relatively voluntarily) no more than 25% of the population.

My sister works as a teacher in a gymnasium and her boss requires a vaccination certificate or a medical withdrawal certificate from all employees. Note that there is no legal basis for this! The boss said she would be deprived of her salary bonus if everyone is not vaccinated at school. The sister went to the polyclinic to take a certificate of a medical disqualification from vaccination, as she had a history of several episodes of anaphylaxis for a number of drugs and antibiotics, bee stings, etc. The doctors ignored her fears and sent her for vaccination. But she decided to continue the fight and undergo a series of additional examinations.

And today a ray of hope dawned on me that this madness would stop. President Lukashenko, at a meeting with ministers, spoke out sharply against coercive measures for vaccination and fines of the population. "Каждый должен распоряжаться своей судьбой". Лукашенко высказался на тему противоэпидемических мер и лечения от COVID-19 (translate.google)

At the beginning of the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko addressed a question to Health Minister Dmitry Pinevich: "As I understand it, Dmitry Leonidovich, are all healthy people present in the hall here?"

Having received an affirmative answer, the head of state asked the following question: "Did you quarantine them before meeting with the President, did you do PCR tests?" This time the minister's answer was negative.

“How is this, you came to the head of state, to the President (and he is the only one in Belarus) and did not check those present here? It was not for nothing that I asked you this question, Dmitry Leonidovich. You did the right thing. Because it is not accepted in our country. Although people around the world do not come to the President without quarantine/ "

Alexander Lukashenko continued: "I specifically asked a question to ask the following question: if you freely go to the President, then why are you mocking people? "
"Why are we straining people then? Why did they raise a hubbub all over the country? Why the police were mobilized to check the mask regime,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.

In this regard, he turned to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: "I warned you. Do you have nothing to do? Why are you breaking the law? We do not have such a law." "Who are you playing along?" - asked the head of state.

"You see, they began to fine people. Who gave you the right to do this? Where, in what law is it written that you have the right to fine people?" - Alyaksandr Lukashenka reiterated this question.

Alexander Lukashenko explained that he personally is not against people wearing masks and getting vaccinated, but first of all, attention should be paid to treatment issues. He is sure that if we work effectively in this direction, then literally within a month it will be possible to minimize the problem. "And we will not treat people, we will engage in a covid and antiquated policy - we will bring the people to riots. It will be like in Europe," he warned.
It is a pity that our officials do not know that it is possible to effectively treat covid with ivermectin or are afraid to make such a proposal.

On November 4, 2021, on a holiday for Russia (National Unity Day), two presidents Putin and Lukashenko signed an Agreement on the creation of a Union State for 2021-2023, which includes 28 sectoral union programs.Russia and Belarus have become even closer to each other. The meeting was in the form of a video conference. Putin was in Crimea at the time. Meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State

On November 8, the migrant crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border escalated. The media showed a column of thousands (about 3000-4000) of migrants from the Middle East going to the border with Poland, where they set up a tent camp in no man's land. They spend the night there and try to break through the barbed wire. But the Polish military won't let them in. It's really getting colder here now. At night to -5. There are many young children and women among them.
As it turned out, this particular crowd consisted mainly of Kurds. But there are also Iraqis, Afghans. It all started back in the summer. They arrive in Belarus officially on tourist vouchers, then live in hotels or rent apartments for some time. I personally recently saw 2 such families in our apartment building. Young women, men with children. At the appointed time (they chat with each other or the coordinator), they take a taxi to the border and try to cross it. They say they are going to Germany. They are not interested in Belarus at all, since we do not have any special forms of assistance and support for refugees. They can only get a residence permit and get a job! And our salaries are small.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has told Russian President Vladimir Putin that Belarus’ use of migrants to pressure the EU was inhumane and unacceptable and has asked him to press his counterpart in Minsk.
Speaking on Wednesday, Merkel’s spokesperson told the media that the outgoing German leader had held discussions with Putin about the Belarus border crisis.
According to the spokesperson, Merkel said that Minsk’s “instrumentalization of migrants” was inhumane and unacceptable and called on the Russian president to press Belarus’ Alexander Lukashenko on the matter.

The Kremlin has previously demanded the European Union uphold its own humanitarian values and accept the thousands of migrants trying to reach the 27-nation bloc via Belarus. Moscow said Brussels was “strangling” Belarus with planned border closures.

EU nations have accused Minsk of funnelling thousands of migrants towards its eastern borders as a form of hybrid warfare. European leaders are set to agree on new sanctions against Minsk.

“Mr Lukashenko ...unscrupulously exploits people seeking refuge as hostages for his cynical power play,” Germany's acting Foreign Minister Heiko Maas on Twitter, adding that the images from the border, where people are stuck in freezing conditions and with little food and shelter, were “horrific.”

Lukashenko has rejected accusations that Belarus is somehow “attacking” Poland, adding that he was not a “madman” and did not seek conflict with Europe. “To conduct a war with these unfortunate people on the border of Poland with Belarus and move forward columns of tanks – it is clear that this is some kind of training or intimidation,” Lukashenko stated, noting the movement of Polish and Lithuanian troops to border areas.
Polish politicians do not allow their own media and humanitarian organizations to the border, they say that their Polish journalists should go to Belarus and shoot reports from our side. On the Polish side, about 12,000 soldiers have already been concentrated near the border. Top Polish authorities said the amassment of troops was absolutely necessary to defend the country and the EU as a whole from the “attack” by the Belarusian “regime.”

“We currently have a camp of migrants who are blocked from the Belarusian side. There are about 1,000 people there, mostly young men. These are aggressive actions that we must repel, fulfilling our obligations as a member of the European Union,” Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Tuesday.
The EU, in turn, reiterated its accusations toward the Belarusian leadership of “weaponizing” the migration, with an EU Commission spokesperson stating that Lukashenko is acting like a “gangster” and effectively holding the migrants hostage.

“This is part of the inhuman and really gangster-style approach of the Lukashenko regime that he is lying to people, he is misusing people...and bringing them to Belarus under the false promise of having easy entry into the EU,” the spokesperson said. Earlier, EU Commission boss Ursula von der Leyen urged the bloc’s members to new, “extended sanctions” against Belarus over the ongoing crisis.

Top Polish officials went even further, with Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki alleging that the migrants amassed at the border were not legit asylum seekers but “human shields” deliberately brought by Minsk to “destabilize” its neighbors and the whole EU. Moreover, the ongoing “hybrid attack” is actually staged by Russian President Vladimir Putin, with Lukashenko being merely a purveyor of Russia’s alleged “neo-imperial” policy.

“The latest attack by Lukashenko, who became an executor, but with Putin as the director in Moscow, shows resolve in the scenario of rebuilding the Russian empire,” the PM claimed.
The migrant situation at the borders between Belarus and its European neighbors has gradually deteriorated over the past few months, after Minsk said it opted to stop turning back people seeking to reach the EU in retaliation to sanctions imposed by the bloc. Brussels, however, has maintained that Belarus has been deliberately stirring up the flow of migrants artificially, a charge that Minsk has consistently denied. Since August, several people attempting to cross the border have died on both sides of it, according to Polish officials.

I'm not exactly sure if this is the thread to discuss some wild speculations, so excuse me if it's not.
I was listening today to a commentary about the situation at the Belarus border by two gentlemen: Jackowski (famous Polish clairvoyant, discussed in this thread) and Wozniak (YouTube personality and political commentator, that sometimes has spot-on insights). For many, the most disturbing Jackowski's prediction was paraphrased as "shortly before a major war in the world, people in Poland and Europe will be afraid to breathe". We can tell, that the last part of his sentence is the Pandemic, but what about the war? These two are afraid, that the new migrant crisis is the beginning of it. Their major points are (might not be exactly as they told):
  • The Polish government is acting like they don't want the situation to be resolved. There are no water cannons or gas used at the border (yet the government is happily using that kind of weapons against their citizens). Just troops standing and not participating.
  • The Polish government is not trying to ask the EU for help, nor the American army (that is, nota bene, stationing near Polish titanium and vanadium deposits) is helping. This makes Poland the only country responsible for resolving the situation.
  • Jackowski had the vision that the ruling party will "shed their power", which he thinks fits this situation well.
  • The failure to deal with the situation, and the future wave of migrations will lead to the installation of foreign agencies in Poland via destabilization, and the agencies will form some kind of "temporary government". Jackowski had a vision that "the Polish government agreed on something, that will not be accepted by the public".
  • The forming of a de facto foreign government is needed for Israel as a backup plan for the open conflict with Iran. Both logistically (increasing American presence on Polish land), and for evacuation/migration purposes.
