Kinda cool. Metal plates found under crop circles with the image of the crop circle on them???

This sounds too strong to stand. Hoax? The idea of "pure silver" needs elaboration, and in many
ways this video smacks of junk journalism. But an interesting watch nevertheless. I searched
for priors here, could not find. Has anyone else heard of such metal plates before?

potamus, the link you provided has a whole bunch of videos.

Is this perhaps the video you were referring to: _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WggwLwkP4Og

With regards to Youtube, when it says a video is no longer available, just hit CTRL + F5 and it will play.

This link provides more info:

Strange that I never heard about this before. It reminds me of the "Roswell Rock" story:

That first link doesn't seem to be working Pepperfritz.

Works for me. Just copy and paste it into your browser, but remember to leave out the _ at the beginning.

Thanks for that very interesting tip, E.

Do you know the techno-reason for this?

Pleasure  :) F5 only refreshes a web page, but cached data sometimes stays unchanged, whereas CTRL + F5 calls data from the server again and replaces cached data with what's currently on the server. With the web, CTRL + F5 usually fixes any websites that doesn't display correctly initially. Works great with Flash sites as well.

Thanks for your reply, E.

I didn't know that F5 refreshed a web page; must try that when the problem with incomplete page download occurs again (as it will!), so thanks for that little tip, as well.

You have also given me a better idea about the meaning of 'cached'; although I know that 'to cache' means 'to hide', sometimes computer-speak for a certain word doesn't have the same meaning as it does in general usage, or so I've found.

All in all, E :flowers:

interesting article where three nordic type individuals were spotted near a couple recent circles. I found it interesting in the image of the circle on the right, there is what appears to be a large mound right across the road. This little area for crop circles appears to have had other odd circumstances in the past as well according to the article. i wonder if there might not be something interesting there as well?

Hi kenney, you might want to search the forum for Colin Andrews before believing anything he writes...

oh cool thx. by the time you are done weeding out all the psychopaths on the internet...there wouldn't be a need for Google anymore. i had never read about a crop circle having such an elaborate story before. let alone someone trying to soak so much fame and money out of them................

still more in line with is thread i had never seen that mound there, apparently most of the CC pictures are cropped down i guess. I wonder just how many have mounds and/or standing stones perched right by them like that?

The details of this are a little unbelieveable. The police man allegedly saw the beings from 400 yards. It was at least that given the distance of the road from the circle. He allegedly was able to make out that all three had blond hair and were over 6 feet tall, from 400 meters and at 5am in the morning no less!! 5am in the morning in july in southern england is not broad daylight by any means. Also, the field in which the formation occurred rises up significantly from the road, making it even more difficult for anyone to ascertain anything definite about anyone situated 400m into the field.

Andrews is really unashamedly promoting nonsense here, and we have to wonder why and what role he is playing in the entire Crop circle disinfo campaign.

I've followed along with the webbot stuff at halfpasthuman and they've been talking about an alien artifact for atleast 4-6 months, so maybe that's where he's getting the idea from which to push the angle.
