A game I like to play when I'm bored

I picture a circle with an arrow in it, where the arrow can spin inside the circle. Basically, an unlabeled, unmarked compass. Then I give the arrow a mental spin, try to disengage my conscious mind, and see where the arrow swings around to. And then I check and see if the arrow is in indeed pointing north or whether I'm just fooling myself.

More often than not, it's pointing in the right direction. And I think the times it didn't, was because I couldn't "let go" enough to let the arrow do its job.

Dunno if it'll every be useful or not, but it does help pass the time if you have nothing better to do...

I've tried something similiar, like when ever I'm in an unfamiliar town or city I often try to pick out which direction is North. I'm quite successful too. I'll give the arrow game a go see if I can become a human compass. :)

In more ways than I can count, I keep wondering if I can move
objects via telekinesis, and try various mental excercises such
as (1) No expectations at all, all is one and I am one with all,
(2) stare at the object long enough and mentally "see" the object
move from it's present location to desired location, (3) physically
move the object with "hidden foot" and try to convince wife while
waving hands at the object as a distraction that telekinesis is working
before her (and my) eyes.

Alas, I killed my boredom and moved on.
