Translator Traitor: CNN Betrays Pro-Life Religious Translation
The international news network CNN en Español has been caught in the middle of the controversy by manipulating the pro-life speech given by Sister Deirdre "Dede" Byrne, a retired surgeon and military officer at the Republican National Convention in the United States.

At her participation in the Republican Convention, Sister Byrne, now part of the congregation of the Little Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, said that "as a doctor I can say without a doubt: Life begins at conception. While what I have to say may be difficult for some to hear, I say it not only because I am pro-life, but because I am pro-eternal life and I want us all to get to Heaven together someday.

The religious also pointed out that Donald Trump, current president of the United States and candidate for reelection, "is the most pro-life president this nation has ever had, defending life at all stages.

Changing the meaning of Sister Byrne's speech, the CNN en Español interpreter repeatedly translated "pro-life" as "anti-abortion" instead of "pro-life," a language manipulation often used by abortion legalization advocates who argue that abortion advocates are also pro-life.

An official interpreter from the State of California (United States) consulted by ACI Prensa, who asked to keep her identity confidential, explained that "it is very difficult to believe that the translator decided on her own to change 'pro-life' to 'anti-abortion'. In our work, we have some leeway to choose specific words to explain a concept more clearly, but we cannot make any kind of subjective interpretation. So much so that our translations are copyrighted.

"The only reason an interpreter would do something like this is if she or he is under a specific protocol from his or her employer, like someone who works, say, at the United Nations and needs to avoid some words for political or diplomatic reasons," he added.

Players Are Extremely Nervous, Durham Will Expose It All To The People:Harley Schlanger

Sherrod Brown, the progressive senator from Ohio, says he’s talking with the Biden campaign about “where he needs to look and who he needs to look at” as he begins to form a potential administration.

Other people in positions of power, both inside and outside government, are engaged in similar conversations.

It’s part of an early, behind-the-scenes effort by the Biden campaign to shape the contours of a government he has pledged would be “the most progressive administration since FDR.

Biden’s White House and his Cabinet would likely lean on his connections from the Obama administration,
including institutionalists who are palatable to centrist Democrats. But in the same way Biden shifted left on policy in recent months in response to the pandemic, he is also taking advice from the progressive wing of the party.

Interviews with more than a dozen Democrats familiar with his transition process describe an effort by his campaign to assemble a center-left amalgamation of personnel designed to prioritize speed over ideology in responding to the coronavirus and the resulting economic ruin. Think Susan Rice, but also Elizabeth Warren. Pete Buttigieg, but also Karen Bass.

“I think those [ideological] distinctions are going to be a little hard to draw in this administration,” said Matt Bennett, whose center-left group Third Way, like others, is developing lists of candidates to propose to Biden’s advisers for sub-Cabinet and other roles.

One Democratic strategist familiar with Biden’s work to form a government said, “Does it mean that the chief of staff won’t be [longtime Biden advisers] Ron Klain or Steve Ricchetti or something? No, but it does mean you’re going to see some unusual suspects in the government, I think.”

Among those advising Biden on the transition are centrist-minded establishment figures such as Tony Blinken, the former deputy national security adviser in the Obama-Biden White House, and Lawrence Summers, the ex-Treasury secretary and bane of progressives who said last week that he will not go into the administration. Ricchetti, Biden’s former chief of staff, is a former lobbyist.

But Biden is also taking economic advice from Warren, Democrats familiar with the campaign say. She is widely viewed as a potential Treasury secretary in a Biden administration. It did not go unnoticed when Biden in April called corporate America “greedy as hell.” He has also proposed raising the corporate tax rate.

And progressives have been heartened by the composition of his transition team. Headed by former Sen. Ted Kaufman, a longtime Biden adviser and Biden’s successor in the Senate, it includes Julie Siegel, who has been a top Warren adviser, and Gautam Raghavan, chief of staff to Rep. Pramila Jayapal, co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

"I think this is about getting seasoned people that are really qualified to do the job. People with experience, people that are smart as hell and people that reflect America," Kaufman said in an interview. “A lot of this isn’t about ideology or anything else. It’s totally about what do you do with the incredible hollowing out that Trump has done ... so many of the agencies just are empty, the career people have left.

"You’re going to be walking into a very difficult situation, and a lot of it’s going to be blocking and tackling.”

One name often mentioned as a potential secretary of State is Rice, who was Obama’s national security adviser and made Biden's short list for vice president. Blinken is often mentioned as a potential national security adviser.

Warren’s potential selection for Treasury could depend in part on the balance of the Senate after the November election. If she steps down, her state’s Republican governor, Charlie Baker, would appoint her replacement — a Republican, presumably — until a special election. But there are workarounds.

A veteran Democratic strategist close to Biden’s transition team said that if Warren wants a post, she is “definitely in the Cabinet.” And even if she isn’t, she's likely to influence Biden’s thinking.

Elsewhere in the Cabinet, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, who endorsed Biden in early January and served on his vice presidential selection committee, is a likely candidate for transportation or Housing and Urban Development, among other possible positions. Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), another finalist for vice president, could be secretary of HUD or Health and Human Services.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham “comes up a lot” in Cabinet talks, according to one former Biden adviser who remains in contact with Biden campaign officials. Buttigieg, the former South Bend, Ind., mayor and presidential contender, is seen as a likely choice for ambassador to the United Nations or secretary of Veterans Affairs. And Jared Bernstein, a longtime economic adviser to Biden, is frequently mentioned as a potential chair of Biden’s Council of Economic Advisors. Bernstein was among the administration veterans and academics who gave Biden and Harris an economic briefing last week.

Discussing the kind of leaders he wants to surround himself with at an event in April, Biden said his job is “to bring the Mayor Petes of the world into this administration … and even if they don't come in, their ideas come into this administration.”

He has left open the possibility of including a Republican in the Cabinet and is considering adding a climate-focused position.

“I think he will govern like [Bill] Clinton in terms of consensus-building, but he will be surrounded by a lot of Obama people,” said former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, who served in the Clinton administration as energy secretary and ambassador to the U.N. “I believe he will have a free reign for six months, and then if there isn’t major, positive change, you know, the fractures in the party will start showing.”

The health and economic wreckage from the pandemic has changed Biden’s outlook on the presidency and his preparations for a potential administration. Seeing the immediate, post-Trump era in more transformational terms than he did before, he has adopted a more expansive legislative agenda, including more robust college affordability, bankruptcy and Social Security plans. He has significantly expanded his proposal to address climate change, proposing to spend $2 trillion over four years on a suite of programs.

Biden’s advisers are preparing for the opening months of his administration almost as a rescue mission, with contingencies to address the coronavirus based on how severe it remains and on whether a vaccine is available.

“Between Covid-19, what Trump’s done and the economy, this is going to be a totally different transition because of that. It’s just going to be very, very difficult," Kaufman said.

However, he added, “When [Biden] shows up on the first day, he’s not going to need to be told where the Situation Room is. He’s been in the Situation Room for hundreds of hours. So he’s going to come in as … the most experienced and qualified person in terms of federal experience of anybody in the history of the country.”

The prospects of Biden’s legislative agenda would rest heavily on whether Democrats win the Senate. Just as Biden is preparing to populate the executive branch, he is laying groundwork to move legislation. Biden speaks with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and their staffs are in regular contact.

Last month, Biden signaled an openness to ending the 60-vote filibuster rule, a practice President Barack Obama recently called a “Jim Crow relic.”

“The filibuster is gone,” said Harry Reid, the influential former Senate majority leader and a friend of Biden. “It’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when it’s going to go … Next year at this time, it will be gone.”

When asked what changed Biden’s thinking about the filibuster, Reid said, “I don’t know. I talked to him and Ricchetti about it. Maybe that helped a little bit. I think, just basically, pragmatism — if he’s going to get anything done as president, [the filibuster] has got to go.”

Biden campaign advisers say he considers his “Build Back Better” agenda a package that can get broad buy-in, not a legislative starting point. Jake Sullivan, a former top State Department official and a senior adviser to Biden, said that as he formulates his legislative agenda, Biden is “being attentive to how you construct a bold, integrated agenda that can also attract a big tent coalition of support.”

And Stef Feldman, the Biden campaign’s policy director, said that in addition to Biden's legislative experience, he "also knows how to move the levers of government in the executive branch.”

Brown, who would likely become chairman of the Senate banking committee if Democrats win the Senate, said it is not Biden "moving to the left," but "Biden, and all of us around him, recognizing this is going to be a very consequential presidency."

The fear among some progressives is that Biden’s relationships and penchant for compromise may serve to water down the Democratic agenda. Larry Cohen, the former Communications Workers of America president who now chairs the Bernie Sanders-aligned group Our Revolution, said the inclusion of progressives on Biden’s transition team is “the reason I’m hopeful” about a Biden administration.

Invoking Biden’s frequent references to FDR, Robert Reich, the Clinton-era Labor secretary, recalled that Roosevelt initially “was certainly not thought of as somebody on the left.” At first, he placed trust in the nation’s financial institutions, pursuing a working relationship with both populists and business interests early in his administration.

It was only after businesses balked and the relationship deteriorated that Roosevelt changed course.

Then and now, Reich sad, “America was ready and willing and eager to try almost anything.”

“The country will get behind Joe Biden, I think, in very powerful and important ways,” Reich said, adding that Biden has the opportunity to be “a transformative president … It’s almost entirely a function of the times.”

A Pew Research Center poll that’s already a month old (and a lot happened since) concluded that violent crime is a major issue according to 59% of voters (almost as much as coronavirus): 74% of Republicans and 46% of Democrats. But during the DNC, held after the poll was already out, the issue wasn’t addressed at all. Democrats talked about police violence, but not riot violence.

At this week’s RNC, this situation is -of course- very different. The DNC pushes the GOP into the role of the party of law and order, and they’re all too willing to take up that role. But I was wondering about something else, or “bigger”, this morning. That is, Joe Biden et al are very light on policies, because in their view their most important issue is to get people to vote *against* Donald Trump, rather than *for* Biden.

And I’m thinking maybe that’s starting to boomerang, to blow up in their faces, whether perhaps people are beginning to lean towards NOT voting for Joe Biden, instead of NOT voting for Donald Trump, “at any cost”. In that context, it appears telling that according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll, Biden saw no “convention poll bounce” in his numbers after the DNC, while ironically, Trump did

There isn't much time left to counteract this. It's all very concerning. The C's said it was likely Trump will win and it looks that way. But will he be able to keep it? A lot of the tricks to steal votes are revealed here.

A Democrat operative who worked covertly in a massive voter fraud operation blew the whistle to New York Post reporter Jon Levine and revealed how Democrats will try to steal the 2020 election with their mail-in vote scheme.

The insider revealed how Democrats rig elections by paying homeless voters, taking advantage of elderly in nursing homes, fraudulently posing as registered voters, printing up phony ballots and actually removing real ballots from envelopes and replacing them with counterfeit ballots.

The Democrat-media complex is keeping Covid in the news cycle so they can push for mail-in ballots instead of voting in person for the 2020 election.

A Democrat insider, who spoke to Levine on the condition of anonymity, said “fraud is more the rule than the exception.”

“This is a real thing,” the insider said. “And there is going to be a f–king war coming November 3rd over this stuff … If they knew how the sausage was made, they could fix it.”

The whistleblower is a Bernie Sanders supporter who has been working in a massive vote fraud operation for decades.

Via The New York Post:

[T]he political insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he fears prosecution, said fraud is more the rule than the exception. His dirty work has taken him through the weeds of municipal and federal elections in Paterson, Atlantic City, Camden, Newark, Hoboken and Hudson County and his fingerprints can be found in local legislative, mayoral and congressional races across the Garden State. Some of the biggest names and highest office holders in New Jersey have benefited from his tricks, according to campaign records The Post reviewed.
“An election that is swayed by 500 votes, 1,000 votes — it can make a difference,” the tipster said. “It could be enough to flip states.”
The whisteblower — whose identity, rap sheet and long history working as a consultant to various campaigns were confirmed by The Post — says he not only changed ballots himself over the years, but led teams of fraudsters and mentored at least 20 operatives in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania — a critical 2020 swing state.
Mail-in voting can be complicated — tough enough that 84,000 New Yorkers had their mailed votes thrown out in the June 23 Democratic presidential primary for incorrectly filling them out.
Advertisement - story continues below

But for political pros, they’re a piece of cake. In New Jersey, for example, it begins with a blank mail-in ballot delivered to a registered voter in a large envelope. Inside the packet is a return envelope, a “certificate of mail in voter” which the voter must sign, and the ballot itself.

The insider explained to Levine how he and his fellow operatives make phony mail-in ballots by running ballots through a copy machine.

There’s no watermark or stamp on the ballots, the insider said, but the return envelopes are impossible to recreate so they had to be collected — then his staff got to work tampering with the envelopes.

The operatives would knock on doors and collect completed ballots by convincing voters they would mail them on their behalf.

The operatives would then take the sealed envelopes and hold them over boiling water, “You have to steam it to loosen the glue,” said the insider.

They would remove the ballots then replace them with the counterfeit ballot and reseal the envelope.

The whistleblower told Jon Levine that sometimes postal employees are in on the scam!

The tipster said sometimes postal employees are in on the scam.

“You have a postman who is a rabid anti-Trump guy and he’s working in Bedminster or some Republican stronghold … He can take those [filled-out] ballots, and knowing 95% are going to a Republican, he can just throw those in the garbage.”
In some cases, mail carriers were members of his “work crew,” and would sift ballots from the mail and hand them over to the operative.
The Democrat operatives go into nursing homes and take advantage of the elderly.

The whistleblower told Levine that sometimes the nurse working inside of the elderly care facility is a paid operative and “help” the elderly with their absentee ballots and “literally fill it out for them.”

The operatives will also impersonate voters in states that do not require ID by targeting registered voters who usually skip presidential elections by using publicly available information.

“You fill out these index cards with that person’s name and district and you go around the city and say, ‘You’re going to be him, you’re going to be him,’” the insider said of how he dispatched his teams of dirty-tricksters.
At the polling place, the fake voter would sign in, “get on line and … vote,” the insider said. The impostors would simply recreate the signature that already appears in the voter roll as best they could. In the rare instance that a real voter had already signed in and cast a ballot, the impersonator would just chalk it up to an innocent mistake and bolt.
The tipster said the ‘homeless’ vote is a ‘pool of reliable — buyable voters.’

With mail-in ballots, partisans from both parties hash out and count ballots at the local board of elections — debating which ballots make the cut and which need to be thrown out because of irregularities.

The insider said any ballots offered up by him or his operation would come with a bent corner along the voter certificate — which contains the voter signature — so Democratic Board of Election counters would know the fix was in and not to object.
“It doesn’t stay bent, but you can tell it’s been bent,” the tipster said. “Until the [certificate] is approved, the ballot doesn’t matter. They don’t get to see the ballot unless they approve the [certificate.]”
“I invented bending corners,” the insider boasted, saying once the fixed ballots were mixed in with the normal ones, the bed was made. “Once a ballot is opened, it’s an anonymous ballot.”
This Democrat insider just revealed precisely why the entire Democrat-media apparatus is pushing for universal mail-in ballots and illegal ballot harvesting for the general election.

Another convincing scenario to steal the election. The interview on HBO is in the link.

A top Democrat data and analytics firm funded by Michael Bloomberg claimed it is highly likely President Trump will win by a landslide on election night, but will ultimately lose in the following days after mail-in ballots continue to be counted.

Hawkfish CEO Josh Mendelsohn called the Democrat mail-in voting fraud operation deployed to steal the election post election day a “red mirage” in his interview with “Axios on HBO.”

“We are sounding an alarm and saying that this is a very real possibility, that the data is going to show on election night an incredible victory for Donald Trump,” he said.

“When every legitimate vote is tallied and we get to that final day, which will be some day after Election Day, it will in fact show that what happened on election night was exactly that, a mirage,” Mendelsohn said. “It looked like Donald Trump was in the lead and he fundamentally was not when every ballot gets counted.”

Axios reported:
By the numbers: Under one of the group’s modeling scenarios, Trump could hold a projected lead of 408-130 electoral votes on election night, if only 15% of the vote by mail (VBM) ballots had been counted.
Advertisement - story continues below
  • Once 75% of mail ballots were counted, perhaps four days later, the lead could flip to Biden’s favor.
  • This particular modeling scenario portrays Biden as ultimately winning a massive victory, 334-204.
  • The methodology, described in detail below, was based in part on polling from FiveThirtyEight in August.
  • The ultimate results may well sit somewhere between these low-end and high-end scenarios and will also be impacted by who actually votes, and how voters’ views about their options change over the coming weeks

Hillary Clinton said Joe Biden “should not concede under any circumstances.”

It is obvious that the Democrats are going to file lawsuits after the election if Trump wins in an effort to stall for weeks and possibly until Inauguration Day in an effort to prevent President Trump from remaining in office.

Yeah, maybe the question should have been; what are the chances Trump will serve another term in office?
It's sad to see what happened to your country. And the worst thing in all of that is the divisions of people. Some differences are normal, it's hard that everyone will be the same, but this is something different from the situation when one group attack another.

I have seen on YT the various incidents between the two sides of followers and remembering the election in my country... well... emotions were reaching their zenith...

And in the USA people are SO aggressive, that I do not see anything like that even very close to the election in my country, at the moment of the peak of this fever.

So in my humble prognosis. What the United State's people will see in the near future is more violence until the election will have the end.

As most people in the USA represents more traditional and mild views, the election (if won't be cheated) will give the win to Trump, who is definitely better choice than Biden fortunately.

Time after election probably will give some rest from all those riots on the street. But they surely the left side will no step back and deepening economical crisis, earth changes, the influence of the wave (by emotion enhancement in people), enforce more radical steps and aggression (in some groups of people). C's said something about the april drop dead date - it can have more than one meaning, however, it could have something with the fall of the system in the USA and the start of the civil war in the United States (I think here about April 2021). These are my intuitions. We will see what will have happened.

You've probably seen this snippet of Trump's interview with Laura Ingraham on SM. However, as I watched this analysis by the body language lady we all know, Bombard, I felt more gravity in what he was saying.

The most intense moment is when Ingraham asks: "Who do you think is pulling Biden's strings?", and Trump says: "People that you've never heard of, people that are in the dark shadows". A bit earlier in the interview Trump also says (paraphrasing) that if Biden wins, things will not calm down, 'they' will take over...it's going to be a revolution.

Trump sure is a peculiar enigma, and I'd like to know all the things knows! :cool2:

Based on the recent C's Session and various news reports on the likelihood of Trump winning I am checking the Odds at UK book makers for betting on a Trump Election win.
Currently this is at Evens. So a £1 bet should return £1 Plus the initial bet.
I know that betting laws are more restricive in the US but in the UK we do love a flutter :)
I think a Trump win is a dead cert so when I get a few pounds together I fancy having a go.
For me it is just a way of making the Circus event a little more interesting :)

Russian troll farm makes US comeback
Max Seddon in Moscow and Hannah Murphy in San Francisco an hour ago (6-7 minutes).
After the FBI tipped off Facebook that the obscure left-wing website Peace Data was a clandestine front for Russia this week, the site’s anonymous administrators responded the only way a troll knows how: by brazenly posting through the scandal.

“We’re assured that Peace Data became a victim of a collaborated provocative effort from Facebook and FBI who want to shut up independent leftwing voices prior to the presidential elections and to disguise it with the fight against made up Russian threat,” the trolls wrote in a lengthy post riddled with grammatical mistakes and clunky Russian syntax.

Researchers say Peace Data, a small group of about a dozen accounts that hired unwitting American freelancers, is the first known attempt this year by people linked to the Internet Research Agency, the infamous St Petersburg troll farm, to meddle in the 2020 US election.
The US says the IRA is funded by Evgeny Prigozhin, a caterer-turned-warlord known as “Putin’s chef”, and indicted 13 of its employees for their attempts to interfere in the 2016 election.

In a roundtable discussion with all 13 defendants last month published on one of his many websites, Mr Prigozhin claimed that the IRA did not exist. “This is all falsifications by foreign secret services after Hillary Clinton’s shameful defeat,” he said. “Now there are new elections in the US . . . so they are hyping up the interference story again.”

Peace Data’s name was evidently created with a nod and a wink for its Russian bosses: in Russian, it sounds like pizdato, the obscenity for “-flicking-g amazing” in the mat swearing language.

“Only Prigozhin would think that this influence campaign is f***** great; any reasonable observer would conclude that this is f***** insane,” tweeted Sergei Radchenko, a professor of international relations at Cardiff university.

One of many government-linked troll farms in Russia, the IRA began as an effort to stifle domestic dissent before targeting the US as part of what Washington says eventually became a multi-faceted campaign to boost then-candidate Donald Trump in the 2016 election.

The polarised environment in the US was fertile ground for the IRA, whose knowledge of US politics was initially so poor that its employees only learned what swing states were a few months before the election, according to the US indictment.

“Russia doesn’t really need to create a lot of content in this situation to drive the division that it seeks to drive. It really just needs to amplify the existing discord in the United States,” said Nina Jankowicz, a fellow at the Wilson Center, author of a recent book about Russian disinformation.

The seemingly broad online assault by disparate actors — which ranged from state-sponsored hacking to an IRA meme of Jesus arm-wrestling Satan — indicates a lack of central direction from the Kremlin, according to Sergey Sanovich, a scholar at the Center for Information Technology Policy at Princeton University.

“There is certainly a supply side there in the sense that these people are competing for money, often good money from black budgets,” Mr Sanovich said. “Friends of the presidential administration compete to get the contract and show the goods — what was the reach,” based on incomplete engagement figures that Facebook does not make fully available to researchers.

Run by people previously associated with the IRA, Peace Data mirrored its efforts from the US 2016 presidential election, seeking to “steer potential Democratic voters away from the Democratic candidate”, according to Ben Nimmo, director of investigations at research group Graphika.

In particular, the operatives posted in certain Facebook groups hosting users that might be swayed against Joe Biden, such as democratic socialist groups, in the same way the 2016 campaign aimed to suppress the vote for Hillary Clinton.

“The content is very typical for Russian information operations abroad,” Mr Sanovich said. “US imperialism, discontent with capitalism, even things that follow Russian foreign policy doctrine,” such as articles accusing the Belarus opposition of being western puppets. “They used to run it in print, now they run it online.”

The unmasking of Peace Data has reopened longstanding divisions in the US over whether Kremlin interference helped Mr Trump become president.

“On the right, people deny any election interference happened in the first place,” said Thomas Rid, a professor at Johns Hopkins University and author of a recent history of disinformation. “On the left, people want to believe they basically installed Trump. Both are exaggerations and have become part of the polarised narrative in the US. People are just scared that something like 2016 could be repeated.”

But the paucity of data available from social media platforms makes it difficult to determine whether the IRA’s activity had a significant effect on voters.

Despite using sophisticated efforts to cover its tracks, such as using AI-generated photos for the site’s fake editors and tricking unsuspecting Americans into contributing articles, Peace Data only existed for a few months before it was discovered.

Its posts only achieved “single-digit engagement figures” bar a few that “gathered thousands each in what appears to have been an attempt at false amplification”, according to Graphika.

Mr Rid said the IRA’s “effectiveness was massively blown out of proportion in 2016 and 2017, so that created a market and expectations for them in 2020 — to deliver success again”.

Getting discovered does not necessarily mean the IRA has lost, however.

During the 2018 midterm elections, the group took advantage of being caught by Facebook to sow chaos during those polls, according to Nathaniel Gleicher, Facebook's head of cyber security policy.

“[We saw] attempts to co-opt the narrative of widespread Russian interference . . . to create division and now more importantly undermine faith in the system,” he said.

Since the publication of a high profile statement from Facebook and a tsunami of smearing publications in worldwide mainstream media regarding our website we received countless angry replies, incendary comments, and threats. We perceive this is as a declaration of an all-out war against PeaceData and we’re ready to put up a fight. The following is our reply to the forces behind this attack who claim to be the champions of free speech and truth but in reality are the fartest thing from that.

Facebook baselesly accused us of working with Russia. Moreover, we were called the Russian Trolls. Nathaniel Gleicher, who heads Facebook’s cybersecurity policy, stated that the decision to remove our accounts was based on a tip from the FBI. What’s happening here exactly? Facebook just follows an FBI lead and blocks all accounts of an independent media resource and tops it with declaring its creators Russian trolls. These actions taken by Facebook is the perfect tool to suppress any unpopular opinion, to badmouth a website that hosts content displeasing the Facebook board.

Let us remind you that the founder and the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg (the same Mark Zuckerberg who has increased his net worth by $30 billion during the pandemic, the time when so many Americans lost their jobs and the ability to pay rent) has a long history of collaborating with ABC agencies and proudly walks alongside such monstrous figures as Donald Trump who is one of the main adversaries to freedom and democracy. Mr. Zuckerberg doesn’t like the fact that we speak up against police brutality and endless wars, so he just denies us the ability to be heard. Isn’t it one of the most horrendous examples of censorship?

We’re assured that PeaceData became a victim of a collaborated provocative effort from Facebook and FBI who want to shut up independent left-wing voices prior to the presidential elections and to disguise it with the fight against made up Russian threat. Editorial board believes that the blocking of PeaceData and the smearing campaign developed by Facebook and FBI will be followed by crusade against many other left-wing media resources from America and elsewhere. We have but one thing to tell Facebook and Mr. Zuckerberg personally — the main threat to the democracy, the truth and the freedom of speech is you.

PeaceData never published any paid coverage or propaganda, unlike CNN, who followed Facebook’s and FBI’s lead and accused us of collaborating with Russia. It is CNN who, until recently, diligently ignored cases of police brutality against Black citizens of the U.S., calls for Medicare for All and avoided the topic of horrifyingly violent conflict in Yemen which we covered extensively.

We assume this whole operation could possibly be a sham performed by the FBI to demonstrate their ‘hard work’ and justify millions of taxpayers’ dollars spent on the expensive actions of ‘combating foreign influence’.

We’re genuinely happy that we became the target for smearing of a media like Forbes which has been serving interests of top 1% and ignoring widening inequality gap and horrifying levels of poverty for as long as it existed. We, on the other hand, covered this topic on numerous occasions. These attacks are the best indication that we’re doing something right.

Finally, we are glad to receive false accusations from renown brainwashing machines like The New York Times and The Washington Post, because it is they who are responsible for discrediting socialistic ideas worldwide while licking boots of corporate monsters like Jeff Bezos and justifying deeds of war criminals like George W. Bush.

One of the main complaints we face is the fact that we hide our real names, but the scale of a smearing campaign against PeaceData started as if by command is the best proof that remaining anonymous was our best decision. It is very regretful that those who wish to speak truth have to hide their identities in this day and age.

PeaceData is supported by our own finances and small contributions from a few compassionate readers. Articles published by PeaceData shed the light on dirty deeds of many powerful and rich personalities who are willing to go to great lengths to neutralize us. Therefore, anonymity is only necessary. We’re sorry if this necessity troubled some of our contributors and readers. We apologize for that. Not all heroes wear masks, but some are required to do so.

The PeaceData editorial board dreams of the day when all nations of the Earth are free from tyranny, corruption and the rule of the money. We will continue doing everything possible to make this happen.

Joe!!?? You forgot that people aren’t supposed to know that these appearances of yours, and subsequent Q/A’s with the press, are completely scripted. That’s supposed to be a poorly kept secret.

Wow! Joe Biden Tells His Staff to Call on Reporters Because He Doesn’t Have “His List With Him”

The number of corporate interests, think tanks, political figures and agenda-makers arrayed against Trump taking office for a second term, is staggering. Their brazen, almost unbelievable public statements to this effect just beggars belief. The confluence of "special interests" - from AI control, to federalizing the US police system (martial law), to further steps towards globalization, to an economic re-restructuring of society, to keeping people divided - and much more it seems - hinge on disenfranchising the likely majority of Americans who wish to see Trump remain president.

A must read by Whitney Webb spells a lot of this out. Its really incredible. I hope that those living in the US, especially, are preparing for some Major additional chaos coming in the next few months.

In an interview recently with Wm. Barr, he stated China was a much bigger threat to US elections then Russia, an interesting comment. After reading a few articles on China's collaboration with US corporate businesses and contributions to political campaigns as well as inviting members of congress to China, Hollywood censorship and Sports meddling, I wonder why so much focus has been placed on Russia as the big offender which has been far less then China's interference. We hear not a word about China. It looks like that's starting to change. Plus, there is the Joe Biden and son scandal making millions by cooperation with the CCP. Also, China may be funding Black Lives Matter! They're beginning to sound like Soros #2. And, they would prefer Biden to win, NO SURPRISE there! Chinese embassies in the US are closing and large paper shredding trucks have been seen parked in front of the buildings.

Excerpts:
China has long been interfering in American political activities by capitalizing on the degree to which so many major American institutions have become beholden to the Chinese government through pre-Trump “bilateral ties.”

You don’t have to take the word of Vice President Mike Pence, who in 2018 cited a national intelligence assessment that found that China “is targeting U.S. state and local governments and officials to exploit any divisions between federal and local levels on policy. It’s using wedge issues, like trade tariffs, to advance Beijing’s political influence.”

You can ignore Pence’s contention that that same year, a document circulated by Beijing stated that China must [quoting directly] “strike accurately and carefully, splitting apart different domestic groups” in the United States.
“[C]hinese state-affiliated trolls are…apparently operating on [Twitter] in large numbers. In the hours and days after Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tweeted in support of Hong Kong protesters in October 2019, the Wall Street Journal reported, nearly 170,000 tweets were directed at Morey by users who seemed to be based in China as part of a coordinated intimidation campaign. Meanwhile, there have been multiple suspected efforts by pro-Beijing trolls to manipulate the ranking of content on popular sources of information outside China, including Google’s search engine Reddit, and YouTube.”
But even more thoroughly overlooked than these narrower forms of Chinese political interference is a broader, much more dangerous type of Chinese meddling that leaves Moscow’s efforts in the dust. For example, U.S.-owned multinational companies, which have long profited at the expense of the domestic economy by offshoring production and jobs to China, have just as long carried Beijing’s water in American politics through their massive contributions to U.S. political campaigns. The same goes for Wall Street, which hasn’t sent many U.S. operations overseas, but which has long hungered for permission to do more business in the Chinese market.

These same big businesses continually and surreptitiously inject their views into American political debates by heavily financing leading think tanks —which garb their special interest agendas in the raiment of objective scholarship.

At least Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and their surrogates in the Mainstream Media got one point right regarding foreign interference in U.S. politics: that it is totally bogus to compare the records of Russia and China in election meddling and in other aspects of American public life, and their abilities to do so.
Trouble is, the House Speaker, the Chair of the House Intelligence Committee, and other Never Trumpers are wildly off-base about who the main culprit has been and will be for years to come. It’s not Russia, it’s China— and by orders of magnitude.

In fact, on top of efforts to shape voters’ opinions during election campaigns, Beijing for decades has been influencing American politics in ways Moscow can barely dream of.
Commenting on the spotlight that U.S. intelligence officials have placed on both countries’ interference efforts (along with Iran’s), Pelosi and Schiff declared that the analysis “provided a false sense of equivalence to the actions of foreign adversaries by listing three countries of unequal operational intent, actions, and capabilities together.”

In particular, they charged, the actions of Kremlin-linked actors seeking to undermine Vice President Biden, and seeking to help President Trump” were glossed over.
Pelosi stated subsequently, “The Chinese, they said, prefer (presumptive Democratic nominee Joe) Biden—we don’t know that, but that’s what they’re saying, but they’re not really getting involved in the presidential election.”

The liberal media, as is so often the case, echoed this Democratic talking point. According to The New York Times‘ Robert Draper, author of a long piece in the paper’s magazine section on Trump’s supposed refusal to approve anti-Russia interference measures or take seriously such findings by the intelligence community, China “is really not able to affect the integrity of our electoral system the way Russia can.”
What these Trump opponents have completely overlooked is that the Chinese are unquestionably meddling—though with some distinctive Chinese characteristics. And much more importantly, China has long been interfering in American political activities by capitalizing on the degree to which so many major American institutions have become beholden to the Chinese government through pre-Trump “bilateral ties.”

As for the narrower, more direct kind of election corrupting, you don’t need to take the word of President Trump’s national security adviser, Robert O’Brien that “China, like Russia and Iran, have engaged in cyberattacks and fishing and that sort of thing with respect to our election infrastructure and with respect to websites.”

Nor do you need to take seriously the intelligence community judgement dismissed by Pelosi and Schiff that:
“China has been expanding its influence efforts ahead of November 2020 to shape the policy environment in the United States, pressure political figures it views as opposed to China’s interests, and deflect and counter criticism of China….Beijing recognizes that all of these efforts might affect the presidential race.”
Much harder to ignore: China’s decision at the height of the 2018 Congressional election campaigns to take out a four-page supplement in the Sunday Des Moines [Iowa] Register that clearly was “intended to undermine farm-country support for President Donald Trump’s escalating trade war.”

The New York Times itself reported that this past spring that U.S. intelligence agencies concluded that as the coronavirus pandemic was peaking in the nation, Chinese operatives were responsible for sending throughout social media scary sounding warnings that President Trump was about to lock down the entire country—complete with prepositioning troops “to help prevent looters and rioters.”

At least as worrisome: A new report from the information analysis firm Graphika documenting how, “Social media accounts from the pro-Chinese political spam network Spamouflage Dragonstarted posting English-language videos that attacked American policy and the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump in June, as the rhetorical confrontation between the United States and China escalated.”

According to Graphika, such disinformation campaigns had begun in mid-2019, but were waged in Chinese and aimed at Chinese audiences. This new phase, however, targeted at the United States, represented “a clear expansion of its scope” and even featured “clusters of accounts with AI-generated profile pictures” to convey the impression that those sending these materials were actual human beings.
Also alleging that Chinese agents are increasingly active on major social media platforms—a study from research institute Freedom House, which reported that:
Last year, a major Hoover Institution report issued especially disturbing findings about Beijing’s efforts to influence the views (and therefore the votes) of Chinese Americans, including exploiting the potential hostage status of their relatives in China. According to the Hoover researchers:
“Among the Chinese American community, China has long sought to influence—even silence—voices critical of the PRC or supportive of Taiwan by dispatching personnel to the United States to pressure these individuals and while also pressuring their relatives in China. Beijing also views Chinese Americans as members of a worldwide Chinese diaspora that presumes them to retain not only an interest in the welfare of China but also a loosely defined cultural, and even political, allegiance to the so-called Motherland.”
In addition: “In the American media, China has all but eliminated the plethora of independent Chinese-language media outlets that once served Chinese American communities. It has co-opted existing Chinese language outlets and established its own new outlets.”
Operations aimed at Chinese Americans are anything but trivial politically. As of 2018, they represented nearly 2.6 million eligible U.S. voters, and they belonged to an Asian-American super-category that reflects the fastest growing racial and ethnic population of eligible voters in the country.

Most live in heavily Democratic states, like California, New York, and Massachusetts, but significant concentrations are also found in the battleground states where many of the 2016 presidential election margins were razor thin, and many of which look up for grabs this year, like Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
More broadly, according to the Hoover study:
“In American federal and state politics, China seeks to identify and cultivate rising politicians. Like many other countries, Chinese entities employ prominent lobbying and public relations firms and cooperate with influential civil society groups. These activities complement China’s long-standing support of visits to China by members of Congress and their staffs. In some rare instances Beijing has used private citizens and companies to exploit loopholes in US regulations that prohibit direct foreign contributions to elections.”

Hollywood and the rest of the U.S. entertainment industry has become so determined to brown nose China in search of profits that it’s made nearly routine rewriting and censoring material deemed offensive to China. In case you haven’t noticed, show biz figures haven’t exactly been reluctant to weigh in on U.S. political issues lately. And yes, these entertainment figures include stars and leading coaches of the National Basketball Association, who have taken a leading role in what’s become known as the Black Lives Matter movement, but who have remained conspicuously silent about the lives of inhabitants of the vast China market that’s one of their biggest and most promising cash cows.

Moreover, the gap between this indirect Chinese involvement in American politics and Russian election interference is not only yawning. It shows no signs of closing. As a result, China’s overall advantage is so great that it makes a case for a useful rule-of-thumb: Whenever you find out about someone complaining about Russia’s election interference but brushing off China’s, you can be sure that they’re not really angry about interference as such. They’re just angry about interference they don’t like.

Chinese Consulate in Houston Intervened in US Political Movement
Radio Free Asia (RFA) published an article explaining the reason that the U.S. closed China’s Consulate in Houston.

The article stated that the U.S. has known that the staff members at the consulate were conducting suspicious activities, but, for a while, it did not take any action. The Second Department of China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA), which is the PLA’s intelligence unit, sent staff members from a large network company, with fake IDs, to China’s Consulate in Houston. Those technicians used a large video platform’s backend data to identify people who might participate in the Black Lives Matter (BLM) and ANTIFA’s protests and then created and sent them customized videos on how to organize riots and how to do promotions.

The purpose was to “weaponize” big data technology. It delivered relevant materials precisely to those people who were most likely to participate in the protests, while other people could not even find those videos.

RFA did not spell out the company names. A Twitter account said the technicians were from Huawei and the video platform they used to identify candidates and push videos to was TikTok.

Seriously? These articles just look like garden variety, run of the mill anti-Chinese propaganda, typically what you would expect from an administration that is fighting a trade war with China. And Radio Free Asia is a US government propaganda station, hardly a reliable or unbiased source.

Okay, I'm glad to get another set of eyes on the information. It sure looked convincing to me. I'm not familiar at all , with Chinese propaganda or American pertaining to China. The extent of Chinese involvement in the US is something I've become curious about lately and decided to look into it. I have wondered about some of the sources I've looked at and thought to ask here about that. Since it has come up, but is a bit off topic, I wonder what people think of this youtube channel I've begun to listen to on occasion. I'll post it if anyone has more information on it I'd like to hear. I've considered it may be propaganda as well.

Thanks for the feed back flashgordonv, I don't want to be posting propaganda!!! :-(
